It all seemed so easy. Give them some medical history and they send you birth control. No need for anyone to touch you. I had a great experience on the previous app. But unfortunately the clinician that received my application this time was as unhelpful as can be. She first told me that I could only receive a certain type of pill due to my medical history and would be switching me, then on the FaceTime call she did not remember that she was going to switch me to a different pill. She then called me back after hanging up saying she would switch me to the new pill and did not inform me about the new pill. It did not have placebos and will make me miss my period. Two things I never said I wanted. I have completely wasted $60 due to her error. There is no refunds and nothing she can do about her error. She also lied to me saying she told me I wouldn’t have a period on this new pill, had I heard that I would have stopped her. I’m now going to use a more knowledgeable app for my birth control needs.

Physicians clearly don’t listen and don’t respond to the needs and wishes of the patients. I experienced constant bleeding with a BC and went to the doctor and was told to stop. After I went I contacted my prescribing clinician to explain the horrific problems I have and that I wanted to switch back. She then tried forcing me to stay on the same script that the hospital had just told me to discontinue, after telling me to “go to the hospital if you’re bleeding continuously” - which clearly said to me that this entire time she wasn’t listening and was just trying to push their new sponsoring brand. Went straight to the pill club, had a virtual appointment, and got my BC of MY CHOICE THAT I’M PAYING FOR prescribed within 24 hours and sent to me for HALF THE PRICE EVEN WITHOUT INSURANCE. Never again, as a cervical/ovarian cancer survivor- trying to continue to prescribe what she did was DANGEROUS to say the least.

I used the older version of PlannedParenthoodDirect and although that one wasn’t the most intuitive, it got the job done. I used it for about a year and got my birth control refills right on time and never stressed. But when PlannedParenthoodDirect came out I noticed that I didn’t get my refills, I forgot my login info so I tried to reset my account but I didn’t get any emails. There was no number to call for tech support so I just called the general PP helpline, they couldn’t help me out with PlannedParenthoodDirect but we’re still understanding and helped me set up an appointment. The entire process has stressed me out, what was helpful about PlannedParenthoodDirect was that I could order birth control from home and get it quickly but it seems like they lost my info in the transfer. I had recommended the old app to a lot of my friends so now I feel bad that they might be in the same boat as me. Next time you do a big update give instructions for how we can continue to use your service!!

I had an in office check up at my local PP and my visit went amazing. The staff was so kind and knowledgeable. WAY more knowledgeable then any of my previous OBGYNs previously and they actually listened to my concerns I’ve been having for years and have given me viable options where I wasn’t getting help before.

Ive been hunting for a birth control option that works for me and was given a few options but that’s better than the zero options I was given before. I got all of the paperwork I needed to get me started on doing some research about which option I wanted to pursue and when I was ready I downloaded PlannedParenthoodDirect, and requested the specific one that was right for me. And within 24 hours I had a prescription and didn’t have to make a follow up in person appointment. It was a really nice convenience. My new birth control will arrive in a couple days. I got a 3 month supply to test and make sure I’m happy with it, then I’ll Plan to purchase for a year. I love that you have the option to pre order in bulk like that. I don’t have to worry about running to the pharmacy, comes right to my door.

Just want to say thank you for providing women with viable options to stay healthy and educated about our bodies. I have only positive things to say about all of my experiences with planned parenthood.

This is my first time rating an app! It’s really convenient to get the birth control pills prescription via Planned Parenthood app. And the clinician answered all the questions I had and always got back to me immediately! I also downloaded another app they recommended to remind me to take the pills and track my periods. It’s just awesome!

So before I knew PlannedParenthoodDirect, I actually went to the Planned Parenthood for getting an appointment for the birth control. But unfortunately during this coronavirus pandemic, they said the appointment will need to be scheduled for one month later. So that’s why I knew I can just use PlannedParenthoodDirect to get the prescription! It’s amazing! Thank you :)

I work 8:30-5 Monday to Friday, so getting to the doctor is difficult. I called my doctor earlier today to ask what medications they’d recommend over the counter for a UTI. Not only was the receptionist extremely rude, but no one there had time to answer my questions or even just call me back! I downloaded the Planned Parenthood app, answered a few questions and had an extremely easy and quick transaction with them and I was provided the medication and information I needed, all within a half hour. Dealing with a UTI is bad enough, having a doctor’s office that doesn’t care is even worse. Thank you for being there Planned Parenthood, you’re a life saver!

I’ve been a long time supporter of Planned Parenthood. I donate monthly and am vocal about my love for the services that are offered. However, using PlannedParenthoodDirect is actually the first time that I have personally used its services and now I feel even more passionate about supporting this amazing organization.

I’ve been on birth control that was prescribed by my primary care for about a year. The birth control has worked great for a large amount of my needs, however it is very expensive even after my insurance. Turns out my insurance covers little to no amount for “non necessary birth control”. Because of Planned Parenthood, I am able to pay the same amount for 6 months of birth control as I was paying for just one previously, all without the hassle of going to the pharmacy and dealing with appointments.

I was a bit nervous because being in Utah meant that I had to have a video chat with a physician after filling out the in app survey but the physician who helped me choose what was the best option was kind and made me feel very comfortable. If you are lucky enough to be in a state where these services are offered I say try it. And thank you all at Planned Parenthood for making these services available.

PlannedParenthoodDirect is amazing! The physician I spoke to really listened to what I needed and wanted, and was able to deliver exactly that in an extremely timely manner. PlannedParenthoodDirect is also designed very well and is super easy to use. I have insurance for the birth control itself, but I do know that the service was affordable and they offer very affordable birth control options if you don’t have insurance. Also while they offer mail delivered scripts, you don’t Have to get them mailed, which I really appreciate since I personally prefer getting my scripts from the pharmacy due to my apartments mail system not being the greatest. Overall, great app, great doctors, amazing experience.

I just switched health insurance providers and on my new plan I was having an extremely difficult time getting in as a new patient to see a doctor. I was getting really low on my birth control pills but still could not get an appointment with a new doctor. I easily ordered my pills through PlannedParenthoodDirect after answering a few simple questions. The video chat with the clinician was great! Lucy Cubias was my clinician and was so friendly and knowledgeable. She asked me questions to make sure I was informed on all my choices. Would highly recommend! After having such a difficult experience with my “great” health insurance that I pay hundreds of dollars a month for; this was such a relief at how easy and friendly they were.

I’ve been using PlannedParenthoodDirect for a little over two years now and have little to no complaints at all. It makes getting my birth control super easy and quick. They have many different resources available that provide important information about health concerns that one may have as well. And their customer support rapidly responds to messages you may have with questions. Victoria M. recently helped me out with an issue on the amount charged for my birth control and fixed it immediately.
The only issues that have been an actual problem are minor bugs in PlannedParenthoodDirect , but those are fixed with the updates provided.

Would highly recommend if it is available in your area!

Considering what health care is like for those without insurance and the threat to women’s healthcare overall- before you give a poor rating for this phenomenal option of health care to many like myself- realize there are different ways to access PPH care- *** PlannedParenthoodDirect is only available for certain options in certain areas because of Local (and federal) regulations, please check for your situations ***
-Hats off to PPH. As a Floridian-no office visit fee to restart my birth control nor figuring out when I could pencil in the appointment in person.
-I Answered a survey- chatted virtually with a dr in Seattle to cover all bases and received 3 months of b.c. In a discreet package with condoms to boot for about 70$.

I don’t have an OB/GYN after switching insurance companies, and I was advised by friend that Planned Parenthood could help you get three months of birth control. The complete lockdown in California made it not convenient to try and find a new doctor. I searched the website on Planned Parenthood where they said I could download PlannedParenthoodDirect and have a provider prescribe me the birth control. I downloaded PlannedParenthoodDirect set up an account and request the birth control and brand I wanted. The next day I was contacted by a provider and and prescription was sent to my pharmacy of choice. It doesn’t get any easier than this. I sincerely appreciate Planned Parenthood and will be donating for making something like this available for anyone that needs it!

Ok, so I go to the gyno every year for a re-prescription of birth control and a Pap smear. I’ve had some health issues and have been in their office multiple times this year. However, if I want to be re-prescribed the same birth control that I’ve been on for years I would have to schedule yet another appointment with them. It’s really just a run around and a cash grab at this point. It was SO AMAZING to be able to do the birth control prescription online and with so little time and effort. It just took a questionnaire and all of a sudden I have my prescription set up for another year. I actually did the questionnaire while I was waiting in the car for my friend. Stupid easy. Thank you a million for making things so much easier.

I had been dealing with a fairly painful UTI for almost a week and it became clear that it wasn’t going away on its own, but I was worried about going to the hospital or urgent care because of the fees without insurance. I called Planned Parenthood to try to make an appointment, unfortunately their next available time was three or four days away which wasn’t an option with a UTI. But the woman on the phone suggested I check PlannedParenthoodDirect to see if it can help. I downloaded it, filled out my information, and within 12 hours I had a message from a doctor and a prescription for antibiotics ready at the pharmacy, paid about $20 for talking to the doctor on PlannedParenthoodDirect and only $5 for the antibiotics. And all this on a holiday weekend. I can’t begin to explain how incredibly stress free and relieving this experience was. Incredible.

I started having symptoms of a UTI and that night I couldn’t sleep because of the pain and urge to go to the bathroom. I saw a review for PlannedParenthoodDirect on Reddit and figured I try it. It was 11pm at night when I realized that I had a UTI my only option at this time was to wait all night to call my doctor in the morning. However I tried PlannedParenthoodDirect and I’m SO happy I did. I sent in my request at 11pm and the following morning at 11am I had a response from the doctor saying she called in a prescription for me at my local pharmacy. This saved me money and time. I hope I don’t have to use PlannedParenthoodDirect again (because a UTI is not fun) but if I had to I would absolutely use it again. Also, my doctor Paula, was very accommodating. She first prescribed me a capsule but I told her I have trouble swallowing those kind of pills so she called the pharmacy and changed my prescription to a tablet. Overall, this was an AMAZING experience.

I’m currently out of state, my OBGYN is 2,000+ miles away, and the nearest Planned Parenthood is two hours away. It was my first time experiencing my particular set of symptoms, and I was really nervous and felt stuck. I’d heard of PlannedParenthoodDirect and decided to give it a spin - I was picking up antibiotics at a pharmacy nearby within an hour. PlannedParenthoodDirect was so clear and my clinician, Jessica, was very nice and helpful. It only cost $25 on PlannedParenthoodDirect for the ‘visit,’ and I felt as valued and taken care of as I would have felt with a doctor sitting right in front of me. I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone.

PlannedParenthoodDirect froze a couple of times, and the messages from my clinician were in another menu called ‘order history’ - if there were another category created only for the messages, that would be a bit better. That was my only gripe, though, everything else was perfect!

My name is Jackie and I’m a mom of 2 boys. Due to covid-19 I have been unable to be seen with my OB/GYN and was needing a quick solution. In about 15mins I was able to use PlannedParenthoodDirect to fill in information, verify my identity, decide on a birth control method great I’m happy with, place an order and pay for it. About an hour later I was messaged by a doctor through PlannedParenthoodDirect addressing my questions about the BC I selected and received tracking information letting me know when I would get my order. Ordered on a Thursday afternoon and it’s supposed to be here Monday. Pretty awesome! Now for what I bought (6mos birth control pills) it is $150 which isn’t cheap but with my insurance, that’s about what the cost of the office visit would’ve been even with my birth control being free through my insurance. The smallest pack they mail is 3mos and it’s $75. But no random fees and it’s an easy to use app. Very satisfied!

I have been on birth control for almost 10 years and my GP recently went into private practice so I stopped seeing her regularly as the fee was very expensive even with insurance. My prescription ran out and instead of paying a hefty amount for a quick visit at her private practice just to have a prescription written, I was directed to PlannedParenthoodDirect and wow! What a pleasant experience. I filled out my info and preferred prescription and minutes later I received a response from a NP offering me prescription choices nearly identical to my usual pill (they didn’t carry my exact Rx). I felt so supported and appreciated that so much! I was able to choose a prescription and she filled it right away. Having it mailed to my house is absolutely amazing. No more trips to the pharmacy for me! This really helps with my busy work schedule and eliminates so much stress. Thank you! 💕

Ive been getting my birth control from Planned Parenthood for about 3 years now and each time around November/December I have to go in for an appointment to renew my pills for a years worth I get really bad anxiety because I never know if ill be able to get someone to drive me since I’ve never gotten my license and because i dont have insurance and am now too old for the program they offer im also worried about the price of my prescription. When I found out about PlannedParenthoodDirect I was so happy and so relieved. I was able to order my prescription without having to visit the clinic and the clinician that helped me was incredibly nice and approached any questions they had for me in such a warming way. I received my pills in about a week and the price was surprisingly cheap as well. 3 months for $75? What a great deal! I will definitely be continuing my use of PlannedParenthoodDirect for as long as its up and running. Their security for user safety/privacy is also a big plus for those in less than desirable situations.

I first downloaded PlannedParenthoodDirect last year at the same time as Nurx because I ran out of health insurance and didn’t know which company I would like. I ended up choosing Nurx because it was cheaper but I quickly found out why. I had such a terrible experience with Nurx. They must not look into each individuals account because I wanted to change which pill I was taking and basically they told me I’m lying and sent me the same pill I didn’t like and charged me twice for it. I decided to see if I could restart my Planned Parenthood subscription and they literally made it so easy! They respond quickly to questions and are always super friendly. I will always be recommending this company/app to any friends in need.

I was having an issue getting to my doctor & when I finally did there was an issue getting in touch with my insurance care provider so for a week I was in limbo without my birth control & starting to freak out! I literally pulled over my car and googled “birth control online” and came across an AD for PlannedParenthoodDirect & I couldn’t be happier that I downloaded it! The directions were super simple and I was contacted by a clinician just a few hours later through PlannedParenthoodDirect chat capability! My prescription was sent to the pharmacist of my choice! Not only do I get the convenience of an app, I get the same care I would if I went to a dr. My clinician has always been available to chat and answer my questions as well as quickly get my prescription changed when I told her the brand I was on wasn’t working for me. Reviewing 5 stars because my last order was stolen from my mailbox and not only did my clinician call in a pack for me to my local pharmacy so I wouldn’t miss any pills, customer support sent me a replacement order FOR FREE. These are truly angels doing. You won’t regret using PlannedParenthoodDirect.

Maisa Le is the sweetest and and most friendly doctor ever! We had a video chat for my BC pills and she made me feel so comfortable like I was talking to a friend. PlannedParenthoodDirect is truly amazing! I love that I can have these services right at home! Especially with a busy schedule like mine, I don’t have time to go visit a doctor so they make any arrangements to fit your needs! This was the first time I am using planned parenthood app and I am truly happy and impressed with the professionalism and so easy to use! Before downloading PlannedParenthoodDirect I had already planned to set up an in person appointment. Once I called them the lady I talked to recommended downloading PlannedParenthoodDirect since their location was far from me. It’s super easy especially if you just need birth control. All you have to do is download PlannedParenthoodDirect do an online doctors visit, they’ll ask you a few questions that they’d ask you in person. You pay $15 for that doctors visit and within a matter of one day your prescription will be approved and processed to any pharmacy you want. I definitely recommend downloading PlannedParenthoodDirect.

This was my first time getting on birth control. But I had been wanting to. I didn’t know where to start and how much it would cost me. I was interested when I saw an ad for another company that offered the same service but I didn’t really feel comfortable with it until I saw that planned Parenthood also offered the service. I decided to go with planned parenthood. I paid for the three months ($75) on Monday morning, had the video call a few hours later, and received my pills on Thursday afternoon! The nurse practitioner was very friendly and took the time to answer ALL my questions. Very happy!!!

I was in pain at work and needed relief fast. PlannedParenthoodDirect not only gave that to me but also let me avoid the awkward doctors visit and saved so much time. Within 10 minutes of submitting my symptoms, a provider responded and sent my prescription to the pharmacy. I was worried at first because I’m highly allergic to the antibiotics usually used to treat UTI’s and was worried that without talking face to face this would be overlooked, but I had nothing to worry about. I got the right medication and everything was taken care of. Best of all it was only $20. I could not be happier for this service and HIGHLY recommend for anyone to use this service.

I’m a 35 year old woman who’s been on birth control since I was 18, I know what I’m doing. I wanted to change medications and after days of trying to get ahold of my doctor, they refused to help me. I was able to get a prescription called into my pharmacy within an hour the day before thanksgiving using PlannedParenthoodDirect. Planned parenthood is also where I went to get birth control the first time when I was too scared to talk to my parents, so I was happy to send $15 to this awesome organization.
