I am referring to the app which on my iphone is called "William Whitaker's Words". It has worked fine for me for years. Lately when I try to connect it says "Could not connect to William Whitaker's Words". Deleting the app and downloading a new copy did not help.

Updated iPhone two days ago, now on opening Latin Words says no internet connection, when there IS connection. Restarting and reinstalling don’t help. Help!

Close and restart the Latin Words app on iPhone
Update Latin Words app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Latin Words iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Latin Words on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Latin Words network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Latin Words Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Latin Words not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Latin Words App
1. On android, goto Settings » Latin Words » click [Force Stop]

Update Latin Words to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Latin Words App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Latin Words » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Latin Words.

Fix Latin Words unable to contact server/ Latin Words internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Latin Words » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Latin Words » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Latin Words
