I would like to use this product, but seldom do. First, there is no simple way to upload peer-reviewed publications or easily see which ones have been uploaded. My account remains woefully incomplete with no simple way to update it. I don’t have time to do this manually. It should be able to track my publications automatically, if I’ve authorised it, and include them in my bibliography. ResearchGate does not appear to facilitate finding my publications in anyway, let alone conference presentations etc and instructions on the website are absent. Second, there is no iPad app. The web page remains the most robust interface, but provides little guidance on how to use it, let alone link it to other accounts, like LinkedIn. Research related discussions are a great idea, however few of my colleagues appear to use this on a regular basis. If some of these limitations were addressed, it might facilitate uptake.
