DVDFabRemote finds my PC but have never gotten anything other than "No taks is currently running in DVDFab".
I had DVDFabRemote before and every time I went to scan it couldn’t locate my DVD fab on my computer even though it was running. I typed in the IP address and it kept telling me it was invalid. Months later I Deleted DVDFabRemote and reinstalled it and tried again, the same thing happened. DVDFabRemote is now deleted for good. Spent too much time trying to get this to work. Great idea though.
I'm running DVDFab on my laptop, less than a foot away from my iPhone. Both are on the same WiFi network. I have DVDFabRemote running and when I scan, DVDFabRemote cannot find DVDFab running. I manually input the IP Address listed in the program's general settings under Remote", and it still can't find the program running. I deleted DVDFabRemote from my phone. Time Installed: 20 Minutes.
It does not work as described. Cannot connect
Worked great in the past. Stopped working earlier this year on my iPhone 8 and still broke on my 11. Was great but now only worthy of a delete after checking.
DVDFabRemote cannot find DVDFab and when I try to setup manually with the provided IP it only says: Connection Error

Are used to work in the past I connect with my PC but no longer communicates. Scans for my PC while it’s making a copy of a movie. I would like to know the status but DVDFabRemote does not communicate or recognize my PC running the DVDfab app.
Why can’t DVDFabRemote do something as simple as remembering your IP address. Pointless if you have to add it manually every time you open it.
Started up and it wont find my mac running dvdfab. Put in the ip and it worked. But it keeps losing the connection. Since the scan doesn’t work its kind of pointless.
The scan did not work even though the DVDFab was running on my Mac. I tried entering the IP manually. I kept adding the IP listed on the website, but received an error message stating that the IP did not exist. Well, after a few minutes of frustrated attempts a light bulb went off in my head. I noticed that the Port had the same numbers as the last five on the IP. I deleted those numbers from the IP and voila...it worked!
Can’t find DVDFab with scan then forgets address after adding it in manually when reopening DVDFabRemote
Can not get scan to work. Enter ip address manually and it works, but does not save address, so it will need to be entered each time. Why not save the last entered address?
Allow DNS so we can access externally with port forwarding. Please!
Those that gave it one star after the scan and DVD fab pops up just click on DVD fab and it shows the progress

Awesome app, I can make 3 movies @ once to my USB portable drive, then hook my portable to my blue ray without using Dvds
I had to manually enter my computer IP but after that it worked fine. Notifications etc.
I love DVDFabRemote. I can just start a process and walk away and get notifications on my phone of the status of my process. Easy!
If it doesn’t see it on your network, you need to allow the program access through your pc firewall. Obviously WiFi (same network only)
I had no trouble at all. Didn’t have to enter an IP address. I had DVDFAB running on my lap and was already creating a blu-ray ISO. When I opened DVDFabRemote , it connected automatically and the progress of the ISO file appeared in DVDFabRemote . Thanks for this feature!!

When there is a popup dialog appearing in DVDFab client and certain actions are required, DVDFab Remote will immediately receive a push notification telling users what is happening.
