Best Blocking Ever

OMG! This is truly the best number blocking I’ve ever had! I had it for months & decided I would save a few bucks… So I deleted my app. When I deleted it is when I realized just how many calls it had been blocking for me! I put ShouldIAnswer back on my phone within a month. Even though I had deleted ShouldIAnswer my account was still there and so the numbers that were already blocked before were still listed as blocked. I recommend this to everyone & tell others about it all the time. Thank you, Should I Answer! ❤️👍

No time to waste

I never comment on apps but I can tell you ShouldIAnswer appears to work. Since installed I believe I've not received any robo calls at all. I believe it started out with a few here and there but eventually zero robos. Good app I think for people that have no time to waste because we are sales people and time is money. Also, I don't believe that I have missed any sales calls from customers that were mistaken for robo. Again, ShouldIAnswer appears to work great!! Thank you. JT

Incredible!

The day that I purchased ShouldIAnswer . Five out of six calls had been CRAP CALLS! I have to answer ALL calls because I have after hours business calls forwarded to my number, seven days a week!

ShouldIAnswer changed my life completely as I no longer have issues with unknown or potential spam numbers. If I am uncertain, I won’t answer then simply search it and a report immediately tells me if it’s legit!

Could use some ui tweaks

I don’t mind the subscription model, you get what you pay for. I wish the ui would allow searches by recent calls and I wish it would show incoming calls that have been blocked, as well as a way to easily and seamlessly report recent phone calls to the database without having to memorize and type in everything from scratch. I’m a paying customer and the whole point of that is to be offered convenience. If it is not convenient then why even subscribe?

Addendum: I keep getting calls from numbers already listed as spam. Guess who won’t be staying subscribed. :(

Stopping calls

Are you picking up my calls? Several ring through who are not on my contact list.
Do you stop spam SMS text messages? I get 2-3 each day and delete them but I don’t want these spammers knowing anything about me.

My messages seem to go nowhere. I receive more sms texts that are scam/spam than phone calls. If I delete them, the texter knows they are reaching someone so continue. If I delete to clear my screen they continue doubly to text me.
I would rather have should I answer collect phone numbers when I report them rather than me having to manually enter each one.
My review above “stopping calls” is still on this screen...do you look at it? I’m trying to help you with your list of negative calls but I don’t know if you even look.

1 out of 20 calls are detected

ShouldIAnswer so far has been performing poorly. I am up-to-date on all my operating system and applications. I emailed Support and they promptly reply within one day which was great they gave me some ideas but basically what I had already done (this is why 2 stars instead of 1). At best one out of 20 calls or actually detected correctly and I need to go in and manually add these to the database for this app.
So far this has been a waste of my money.
I hope it will start performing better but i have my doubts.

Still too many

I still get about three unsolicited calls a day, often from numbers I requested to be blocked. I don’t answer any number I don’t recognize. If it is a legitimate call they will leave a message. I am thinking about canceling this paid version. I’m not sure it is worth it.

Ads when reporting a number

Generally ShouldIAnswer works really well. I really dislike that I have to navigate around several floating and popup ads when reporting 1 scam sms and/or call. (An average of 5 ads per number, I've found) I pay for ShouldIAnswer , and I understand that you need ads on the website, but the floating ads in particular are obnoxious.

They say it’s free but it is not!

I’ve tried several of these so called “FREE” apps. They all tell you it’s free but when you waste your time to activate they all want some fee of around $2 per month . Trust me when I say the companies who operate these types of apps are the same companies who are “ Spamming , spoofing , and robo calling “ YOUR Phone numbers!! It pure old fashioned EXTORTION ! Your best defense is just to keep blocking these calls the old fashioned way... MANUALLY. Just hang on a little longer, the FCC is working on it and has a solid ACE up their sleeve that won’t even require an app to stop this daily harassment .

It’s working so well!

Someone suggested I use Should I Answer for stopping Robo Calls and sales calls in general as I was up to sometimes 10 a day. Since starting ShouldIAnswer a week ago, I have only received 3 sales calls in total! I couldn’t be happier and I hope it continues to work well. Thank you for ShouldIAnswer!

Eh.

This by far was the best spam blocker I had when I had my s10. Switched over to iphone11 and noticed I had to pay. No big deal bc it was that great at blocking spam. But it hasn’t lived up to the hype when I had my previous phone which is a disappointment. I have at least 10 or more spam calls showing up on my phone each day since paying for ShouldIAnswer.

Yep it’s worth it and more

Confused

I don't understand the $1.99 monthly fee. You say it checks the database without paying but if I pay I get service in real time. Well my phone rings and I need feedback in real time before I answer. So must I pay?

Great App!

This is a great app. I used to receive 23 scam calls a day, and after downloading ShouldIAnswer and paying for the $2 per month, I have not received a single scam call. It works great!
