Horrible app

Don’t waste your money on it. I requested a refund and apple store denied right the way. The biggest issue on SwiftCard in my case is that when I used an image in a flash card, the image can be moved here or there accidentally while I was just trying to flip the card or take the test. Besides that it’s annoying to manually re-center the image, since it wont lock the image in place, “accidents “ just keep happening. Also no eraser for the “draw image “ so if made a mistake, you either have to start over or keep undoing until you get what you want.

Doesn’t work

I’m on iOS 17.3.1 and find that none of the test types work as advertised. Least Recently Tested gives me the same cards over and over again, when there are hundreds of cards in the deck that it has never presented. Swift Card Importance is not defined clearly, but also presents the same limited number of cards over and over, even when I’ve gotten them right a dozen times in a row or more. Random also presents the same cards over and over. As far as I can tell, there’s no way to make sure that you get tested on all the cards in the deck.

This might be useful if you have 20 or so cards that you want to get drilled on, but it’s worthless if you’re trying to drill foreign language vocabulary or any other subject involving hundreds or thousands of cards.

If you are using pictures this is not the app for you

When creating your card you can take a picture however you cannot edit that picture. The picture shows up very small and you are on able to crop any extra information that may have been photographed out of the picture. This means you have to spend extra time photographing and cropping in your camera mode then transferring to the card. This takes twice as much time if not more. This is a dealbreaker for me as I am studying computer maintenance and need to photograph many technical diagrams and then photograph the answer.

OK with several flaws

SwiftCard was not useful for me for 2 reasons:
1. The font size of texts cannot be changed. Do it was not usable for those who need larger font to read.
2. Pictures can’t be copied and the pasted to the cards. One has to export it as an image to Photos app. It would take longer to create card decks with lots of pictures.

Finally a Quality Flashcard Test Review App

To say that the programming behind SwiftCard is amazing would be an understatement. SwiftCard is easy to use, and the overall design and aesthetics measure far beyond any other flashcard app I've ever used. I've used flashcard apps to prepare for many tests (law school), and I wish SwiftCard existed when I needed it most. I still find SwiftCard useful and plan to use it in the future for larger endeavors, especially when I can program the flash cards myself with information that I've already purchased through other companies, but who either don't offer flashcards, would require me to pay more for content I already own, or that have an app that doesn't even come close to the quality and user-friendliness that SwiftCard offers. Moreover, the feature of flipping for an answer is helpful, which other flash card apps I've used sometimes do not even offer as an option; when they have, they do not look as nicely as offered here. I highly recommend SwiftCard. Happy studying.

Love the APP!

We are using SwiftCard to study for the SAT. Being able to create our own flash cards has opened our level of studying exponentially.
-ability to identify our areas of needed study
-opportunity to type that info onto a card
-later revisit that card and document your correct or incorrect answer
-ability to observe your continued progress

Company is extremely supportive to its customers and answers questions directly. Cannot say enough good things about their dedication.
Thank you so much!

Super helpful study aid!

I have tried many study apps and this one is my favorite by far. Making and customizing flash cards is a cinch. It has some really great features, and I especially love how quickly you can get your questions answered. Would highly recommend.

Best Flashcard App on the Market

As a law student, I need to learn a ton of information. Flashcards are key. I’ve tried out a few flashcard apps over the years, but this one is by far the best one. It’s easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and never crashes. If I don’t fail all of my exams this semester, it’ll be thanks to SwiftCard.

Great App!

I wish I had this application while I was still in school. It would have made studying on the go as easy as 1-2-3! Right now, I use it as a way to practice for speaking engagements. I write the over arching topic on one side of the card and all of my talking points on the other. It really helps me prepare for the big day.

Great for Exams!

I am using this app to prepare for my law school finals, and it works great! The test feature is a great way to figure out what I do and don’t know so I can focus on filling in gaps in my knowledge. Being able to make Flashcards with images and drawings is another aspect of SwiftCard that makes memorizing course info even easier

Perfect for Studying

I have found this app really helpful studying for grad school exams. SwiftCard is super easy to use, and the images/drawings feature is really convenient. SwiftCard has everything I need for studying without having to subscribe for a “premium” version, really appreciate having everything when I download

Flash cards done right

I just love the ability to quickly make flash cards on my phone, rather than having to write them out by hand and keep track of them. Plus, I can test myself whenever I have a spare minute, just by pulling out my phone!

Effective

*Using on iPad Pro*
I have only been using SwiftCard for a few days but it is effective and convenient. While studying, It allows you to categorize correct and incorrect responses and provides a percentage of correct vs. incorrect answers at the end of each test. You can separate the cards into sections when creating them and can study the cards by a category of your choosing, in order, or randomly. You control the length of time the question side of the card is displayed before the answer is revealed. You also have the option of seeing the answer before the timer stops. It seems to be a good app so far. If you are not a fan of paper or tend to misplace your index cards like myself, SwiftCard is the way to go.

Easy Flashcard Maker!

Flashcards are my preferred method of studying and SwiftCard has been perfect. I’ve found SwiftCard to be compatible on all my apple devices and it’s perfect for studying on the go. I had a question about the cloud storage feature and received a helpful and quick response. Highly recommend!

Good for quizzing yourself and tracking progress

I’m impressed with how simple SwiftCard is to use and how great it is for keeping track of the progress I’m making in the memorization of my flash cards. Also had other extremely useful features like timed quizzes and the ability to tag cards by difficulty, which lets me practice certain concepts more. All in all, I’d recommend if you’re actually serious about wanting to learn or memorize material.

Great Study Tool

I am a first year Doctoral student and SwiftCard is extremely useful for studying and creating digital flashcards for yourself that you can keep forever and go back to when it comes to studying for final exams. No longer do I have to keep a drawer with all these flashcards and write them I can use my iPad or my iPhone to transcribe the different questions I want to ask myself and also the answer that I feel are most important for myself.

Worth every penny

I've been using this to study for a test I'm taking to get into grad school and I just find the system really works. SwiftCard is really good at predicting what things you need to learn and sorting the tests accordingly. I like that I don't have to carry around flash cards, but it's also nice that SwiftCard goes beyond what you expect from a flashcard app by offering an Apple Watch app as well (which I use at the gym between sets). High quality all around, and yeah it's $5, but if you are trying to be a high performing student, the phrase holds that "You get what you pay for"

A Must-Have For All Students!!!

SwiftCard has completely changed the way I study for exams. Compared to other flashcard apps I have used in the past, SwiftCard is easier to use, provides great data and feedback, and has helped me become more productive. As a study aid, I can use it wherever I am, with all of the features provided at no extra cost. Other apps I’ve used have looked too disorganized, but the instructions here are very straightforward and the cards/app look amazing. This has been a worthwhile investment, and I really do love how easy it is to use! I would definitely recommend SwiftCard!

The Best Study App I’ve Ever Used

SwiftCard really helped me to improve my study habits, it’s easy to use and completely intuitive. It’s great for dedicated study time but also for doing work on the go, I can easily review flash cards on the bus or in between classes, and SwiftCard has a lot of features that allow me to customize my flash cards based on whatever class I’m reviewing for. SwiftCard worked for me where others haven’t, and after a few weeks I have definitely noticed an improvement in my study habits. On top of that, when I had a question about one of the features, the developers responded within an hour with detailed instructions. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Greatly enjoyed using this app!

Words can’t describe how happy I am to have downloaded SwiftCard! Particularly great is that the library can be shared with others. If you’re thinking about giving it a try — think no more! Will be worth your money.
