Recording App - Re:Call Reviews

I downloaded RecordingApp to record the voicemail/answering machine information from the community I reside at because my rent was due on a day they closed earlier than normal. I was unaware of the schedule changes and it has caused me to not be able to make my payment at the office today. Unfortunately I am unable to make it there tomorrow and needed proof that the office was closed Friday when I arrived at 4:00pm. This call recorder done an excellent job doing just that. The only mid leading part was that it indicated that was free and that you had Unlimited recordings.
To me that means everything is free, but once I downloaded RecordingApp it immediately it requests payment for a 3 month free trial. So it isn’t free you have to have a payment method That is able to be processed in order to get the red trial!

Disclaimer: I am not great at technology; however, that does not at all account for how terrible my experience with RecordingApp was. Despite being “free with in-app purchases,” purchase IS required to use RecordingApp . There is a three day free trial. I’m concerned I will still be charged after deleting RecordingApp . The calls register as international, meaning my phone company also charged me per-minute for the one call I was trying to use this for. The system is unintuitive and hard to navigate, despite a simplistic design

After completing my call, which I thought was a success, I went to listen to it. Because I hadn’t added the recording line to a conference call after connecting with the other person, I came to find that I had recorded 13 minutes of dead air.

Do yourself a favor and keep scrolling. There has to be a better option than this.

After testing this out a few times it seems to work pretty well. Be ready to pay up after the initial trial period is up though. If you’re in need of an app that allows you to discreetly record phone calls then you’ve found it. Along with recording phone calls (without notifying party on other end of the call). You can record your iPhone/iPad screen as well (without volume). I haven’t tried any other recording apps yet but this one seems to get the job done just fine. I haven’t found any issues with functionality yet and don’t have any complaints. Clarity of Calls/Recordings are good too.

You can call the number and Start the recording prior to starting your phone call with the third-party or if someone calls you you can ask him to hold for a brief moment and conference in the recording line and they will never know that it is even happening. Of course I know this is only legal intern faith but I happen to be in one of them. Much better than other services I’ve tried!

Highly recommend. It’s a great phone recording app. I used another one awhile ago and this one is much easier. You have to dial a number first when you make a call then you call the person you’re calling and merge the 2 calls. Sounds like a lot but it’s not. For incoming calls, you just add the apps number. The quality is great, never muffled very clear. I highly recommend RecordingApp.

Your able to hear very clearly what is being said. It’s real easy to do when u r calling the person, however it gets a lil difficult if the person is calling u. If ur trying to record something in secret it will be a lil difficult cause they may find out when everything connects. Other than that it is wonderful and would recommend to u.

I had to test RecordingApp out a few times before I got the hang of using it. Transcript cuts out after a minute but full length recording is clear. Must subscribe to forward call for future reference or editing but worth the price for avoiding the hassle of obtaining additional equipment.

Title says it all. Can’t listen to more than 3 minutes at a time of any conversation before it crashes. Impossible to scroll to where you left off because the scroll option is too sensitive, so I end up using my next 3 minutes listening to content I’ve already heard. Support consists of clicking “email support” but if you don’t have email set up on your phone it doesn’t work, and the email address is not given! All this for $9.99 per month. Infuriating.

This application was easy to set up on my iPhone and seems to work very good the only thing is the user that I recorded with got some kind of a message on their phone that something was disabled I’m not sure about that

RecordingApp is absolutely horrible , glitchy and most of all tricky . DON’T DOWNLOAD / USE !!! You will be tricked into a monthly subscription an expensive one to. If you are not careful you will not know until you are charged. I was charged $16 after keeping this stupid app on my phone for 5 mins and got no use out of it . It is not free and the instructions for use is not transparent . SHAME ON THE DEVELOPERS. You deserve not a single star for this review by the way. Be clear on your terms for subscription. Apple please look into this!!!!!!

Decided to record a call on the fly and RecordingApp was very quick to set up and start recording. The call transcription isn’t spot on, but does okay. I wish there was an ad hoc purchase option for those who only need to record a call here and there.

App is great as per its performance delivery. Only problem is you have to spend money while making use of it cos the conference recording number is international but since there’s nothing entirely free for now it’s still far better than nothing.

The only thing I’m confused about is why do I have to select whom I record? Is there a way to automatically record every time I call out or every time I receive a call?

Does not reflect complete description of recording time.... you have to pay for IRec and a premium number if your recording more than “5” minutes. IRec doesn’t tell u that until it’s too late!!

I’ve been searching for an app that’s free and not full of bull!!!I thought that RecordingApp would be my last destination but clearly I was wrong you people disgust me because all you wrong headed minds care about is money!!!thankfully unlike most people,I read the reviews before actually doing any necessary purchases.I hope you guys get somewhere with this awful app because form the looks of it, the reviews don’t speak well on the apps behalf😂

I can’t believe this exist! I like the record call feature for phone calls, just wish the free trial would also let us save the call instead of waiting for the free days to go by to upgrade but hey.

So far this it’s the best app to record calls very simple to use , not complicated like others ,trust me you gonna get amazed when you find out all the lil extras you can discover using this great app. 👍🏼👍🏼tumb up

The recording quality of the call her on the other end is great. But they said they couldn’t hear me very well

I recently upgrade my phone and since I had a great experience using in my old phone, I went straight to RecordingApp Store to re-download it. To my surprise, there’s not restore option and when trying to add my account in RecordingApp settings,it won’t retrieve anything!

RecordingApp isn’t that great in the first place. I’ve used much better recording apps that you don’t have to call a stupid number and merge the calls just to get the call recorded. They make you think this is a free app, and then all the sudden you’re charged $16 without ever agreeing to a subscription. RecordingApp needs to be removed and the developers banned from making more apps due to their dishonesty! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star!
