Worse after the most recent update in Oct

The recent update has made this app to perform at its worse.
1). Default font is small and is not optimized for the device. It might be assuming that you have the iPhone XS Max.
2). For every article, you’ll have to zoom to read the content. The app doesn’t seem to retain your preferences.
3). On my sections, it displays a messier that stories aren’t available for technical reasons. This is bizzare.
4). App crashes too frequently.
5). Every gesture shows a wheel spinning as if I am running on a decade age old device.
The only positive things that happened are - stories now reflect its correct picture and the font is moving towards retina standards with smooth curves.
Version 6 app , loading always

Every new version I see , it fixes lot of issues but also introduces many more issues which can be easily identified in testing. When ever I open the app or a news article , loading screen appears and whole screen gets reloaded while I’m reading the news which is very annoying.
I have been following this app for over 5 years now it’s good in-terms of content but technically it was never stable.
News refresh issue

From couple of days, able to see refresh issue in app home page, wherein news are not getting refreshed. If deleting and installing freshly works only for that day. Next day issue repeats. Pls fix this issue.
