Terrible app

2022-05-30

I downloaded several times and it refused to go past a loading screen that said “hang tight” even tho I kept BonnarooMusicArtsFestival open for several minutes in case it was downloading something (which makes little sense). Never got past the loading screen.
I guess I’ll try again right before the festival starts and see if the next updates have been applied and this thing works.

Slow/Non-user friendly

2022-07-01

I’ve used BonnarooMusicArtsFestival for the past two times I’ve gone to Roo and it was really easy to use and the layout of it was visually easy. THIS iteration of it is so so so so bad. It’s slow - if you click on something, it literally takes multiple seconds for it to register. And the visual schedule part makes it really hard to actually plan out your day bc it makes some of the start/end times look different (ex. I thought one act I wanted to see looked like it was almost completely at the same time as another act but actually there’s 45 minutes where they don’t overlap).

It’s just not useful at all to keep track of who you want to see. If you have the schedule go by days, it doesn’t keep scrolling to the next day once you get to midnight, you have to actually click the next day and go from there. It’s just awful - as if they made it and didn’t have anyone actually use it to see if it was user-friendly. Very disappointed- but looking forward to actually getting a paper schedule when I get to the farm.

Yikes

2022-08-01

BonnarooMusicArtsFestival is poorly made. It’s confusing, it glitches, when you try to edit the lineup list, it doesn’t work. The schedule is so confusing. Other music festivals I’ve been to made it so easy to use and makes it for “dazed and confused” minds can still get around easy and be able to see the people they want to see. BonnarooMusicArtsFestival I’m afraid will be too difficult for me to use while I’m there. Reallllly hope the people in charge fixes this before the festival goes on.

Slow, glitchy and generally terrible

2022-09-02

Look you guys, BonnarooMusicArtsFestival is not going to help you get around Roo at all this year. I can’t even get the thing to open, let alone let me see all the activities and artists and whatever.
The map feature alone is so overloaded with information it drains your battery and doesn’t actually do anything.
Don’t waste your time.
Just use the paper map instead—keep that thing as dry as possible—and you’ll be much better off.

Schedule format is garbage

2022-10-04

The only reason I use BonnarooMusicArtsFestival is for the schedule, but it’s completely useless. It’s one giant list, so you are unable to see what is playing at the same time. Please make this format like the 2019 app, otherwise it’s pure garbage.

Disappointed

2022-11-04

Sadly, it’s a disappointing app. You can’t even create your own personal schedule, or if so, there’s no user friendly way to discern how to do so! Also, it doesn’t seem to even recognize who you are and that you’re logged in, as it constantly tells me to not forget to register my band (even though I did so weeks ago!). Definitely should have the developers use it while developing it so they can see some of these basic flaws and fix them! Also, the latest update has now made BonnarooMusicArtsFestival crash when trying to open, rendering it useless. That being said, looking forward to the actual festival!

Festival apps are terrible

2022-12-06

Please make BonnarooMusicArtsFestival more user friendly. The main reason people download it is to create and share their schedule. Not only is the scrolling a nightmare (because you are constantly tapping people’s names), but it’s difficult to compare who’s performing head-to-head. I’d love to help develop BonnarooMusicArtsFestival better for future festivals as well. Might want to consider one app for all the festivals to entice users to keep them on their phone for longer than a weekend.

Side note: I tried signing up 3 times and BonnarooMusicArtsFestival crashed. This doesn’t allow you access to my info, and it doesn’t allow me access to save my schedule. Another festival and I’m having to create my schedule on excel.

App won’t load content

2023-01-06

Won’t load, keeps saying “hang tight” and “downloading content”.

Not working

2023-02-07

Festival starts this week and still get past the "hang tight" screen.

Doesn’t work

2023-03-11

Won’t load anything

Won’t work

2023-04-09

It’s been 6hrs and it still says downloading

no

2023-05-11

it doesn’t work at all

Old app was better

2023-06-11

BonnarooMusicArtsFestival does its job and works well(most of the time) my biggest reason for the 2 stars is for the schedule portion. You use to be able to create a personal schedule that would seperate each show by stage and time, and then a red line would move across the schedule telling you who, what, and how long they were playing for so you could plan your day easier. Now you have to actually line up times yourself and it takes a minute.

Fix the schedule

2023-07-13

2021 roo app just came out but the schedules all messed up

Glitch with the personal schedule

2023-08-13

There’s a glitch when you try to create your personal schedule. It’s not adding certain artists for some reason. Hit the add symbol, go to my schedule and they’re just not there.

I like it but it’s little buggy

2023-09-14

Sometimes when i add a band to my schedule, it does not add it to the “My Schedule” section. Sometimes it does. Also, sometimes bands i have added to my schedule would “go away.” That’s frustrating.
Also, it would be helpful if the “My Lineup” selections would update the Most Schedule. It’s easier sometimes to find a band alphabetically, so when I star a band in the Lineup section, the. I have to find them in the schedule section which is not always easy.
I agree with the other reviewer who said he misses the old feature that lists your schedule by stage. That was very handy.
Things I like include the notifications and the ability to set alarms. Notifications are super helpful during rain delays and I appreciated the regular updates on Sunday mornings.
A suggestion on alarms - they were not available for all of the bands and they should be.

Update

2023-10-16

Bonnaroo is back and we need the update on this

People are to harsh on the app

2023-11-16

BonnarooMusicArtsFestival works fairly well, there’s a couple of bugs when opening BonnarooMusicArtsFestival back up but it works fine to see where and where someone is.

I wish the maps would load in like the first time I opened it and it had all the parking lots marked, streets named and all the stages and areas colored like the map they gave to you.

Over all BonnarooMusicArtsFestival helped it wasn’t the best app I’ve seen but it did what was needed.

App not working

2023-12-18

Does BonnarooMusicArtsFestival even work yet?

Great app!

2024-01-18

At first I didn’t like the 2021 Bonnaroo app. But I was wrong! I proved to be very useful for the the entire festival.

Terribly buggy

2024-12-16

With 10 days to go until the festival, I am sincerely concerned that BonnarooMusicArtsFestival will not be updated in time. I am unable to access it at all - I have downloaded, deleted, and restarted multiple times and BonnarooMusicArtsFestival force quits as soon as the opening screen pops up. Prior to this I was stuck in the sign in/verify email loop. I am on an up-to-date iPhone X. Please fix this!

Complete mess

2024-12-16

The schedule feature is horrible. No way to filter out irrelevant stages so you’re stuck looking at literally everything going on (90% you don’t care about). Sunday’s schedule is completely messed up and shows headliners playing at a plaza?? And days at Bonnaroo don’t end at midnight. Why would you not just have the schedules go from the first event to the last event of each day?

🤮

2024-12-16

How does BonnarooMusicArtsFestival keep getting worse and worse every year? It used to be the best festival app, then a few years ago it seemingly went backwards. And now this.... thing? Why even put an app out? Bonnaroo used to be such a forward thinking festival. Now it’s obvious Live Nation is just cutting corners to save money at the expense of our experience. Deleting and reconsidering whether I should even buy a ticket if this is evidence of what’s to come. Boo, guys.

Lots of Room for Improvement

2024-12-16

1. People downloading BonnarooMusicArtsFestival probably already purchased tix so why make that the opening page each time?
2. No search function to find artist, only scroll through of lineup.
3. In above lineup if you click on an artist, there is no info on when/where they play or even a short bio.
4. The schedule section is just a list not an actual schedule and while personalized cannot be shared.
5. If you already track my location why not allow me to share it on your app with my friends who are also at Bonnaroo so we can find each other? Better yet, why not let us see each other on the map?
6. While we are on the map why not let us tag or pinpoint certain locations (camping spot, meeting point, etc.)?

Everyone is right. This is terrible.

2024-12-16

First use it got stuck on the loading screen. Second time it got to the ticket screen after loading. The menu or any other potential parts of BonnarooMusicArtsFestival aren't working. I thought maybe they might have worked on it and fixed it by now, but BonnarooMusicArtsFestival is D U N. Forreal though, we need BonnarooMusicArtsFestival to work. Please fix before fest time!!

Eh

2024-12-16

BonnarooMusicArtsFestival glitches A LOT. Closes itself regularly when I’m trying to use it.

Bonaroooo!!!!!

2024-12-16

BonnarooMusicArtsFestival is okay, easily allows you to see the schedule and narrow down your picks for the festival. It would be awesome if it had a countdown somewhere, can we make that happen?
