Fast Budget - Expense Manager Reviews

I love FastBudget. It works so well for me. Super customizable. Here are the features I would like to see in the near future:

1. The ability to exclude transactions from income/expenses if i bought something then later returned it. I once signed up for a class that cost $500 then got a refund a few weeks later but it skewed my income and spending data!

2. A daily budget! I would like to be able to see what I am able to spend in a day. Income minus monthly expenses divided by the days left in the month. Once a bill is paid it is no longer included in the monthly expenses total. FastBudget daily pocket has this feature but they don’t have the feature to view my actual bank account balance. If you create this feature all other budget apps will become obsolete. I promise. FastBudget daily budget also has this feature. Alex pls add this feature pls.

App is very user friendly; however, some things need tweaked.

1. Displayed account total is inaccurate. I have but one account in my “Accounts” page. The displayed total in that account was accurate at the end of 2020. Since the beginning of the year, I have a few transactions (debits) and one deposit (credit) with that account which should have resulted in a decrease of my total; however, FastBudget shows an increase of approximately $500. Definitely not accurate as I had made my calculations and have compared app total with the actual account total.

2. Should have “credit” option rather than “income” option when conducting returns of purchased goods. Demonstrating a return as a credit is confusing and misleading.

3. Wish one did not have to “select an account” to link credit card. Should have option to permit payment of credit card from any count available. Sometimes people use more than one accounts to make payments on. Single credit card.

4. Just FYI: “debts” is for debts others owe you and not the other way around.

5. Need option where one can input debts they owe others. Example, I want to input my car debt to see how much more I owe on it after payment and interest included.

6. Need more “picture” options for defining new categories and subcategories.

I absolutely love FastBudget, very cool we can customize how the overview page looks like. Pie charts of expenses are awesome especially for available time frames.

Suggestion: have the Note info appear next to the category type otherwise all my expense line items are too broad. Also, a search feature that can look through everything, expenses and income and notes would be fantastic.

We are using to track petty cash transactions and maintain a cash ledger to share and collect accounting data and input.

Improvement suggestion:
1) To be able to sync photo attachments to transactions between devices, so receipts can be shared.
2) Web app to have same viewing options as iPhone devices for transactions and have capabilities to attach and sync photos
3) Export photos attached to transactions
4) Web app available to open back up files for viewing purposes only, without importing backup data and to include viewing photos.

If it does this it can be a useful app to track expense reports for travel as well.

Great app. Have used it for almost 3 years. Although I purchased the Pro version but it still shows as if I had the Basic Version even though the payment was completed. Need help with this

This is the easiest Finance App I’ve tried. I really like the charts and the budget features. Awesome App! I’ve even got some of my friends and family using it.

Signing in on two iPhones does not share data :(

I need this ability to share a budget between my wife and I.

Everything else about FastBudget is great. Sadly I can’t use it until I can share easily with my wife.

Just bought a pro account but I’m having a hard time trying to update my bills and account in FastBudget . Need help and attention ASAP.

Is this available in Android , can i control FastBudget and data from 2 devices ?

After hours of research and testing out countless other budget/expense tracking apps, finally found a tool to meet the needs of our family budgeting style. Great job!

La comencé a utilizar por un trabajo en la universidad y desde entonces no he podido dejarla. Es muy fácil de utilizar y tiene muchas features súper útiles y variadas

Aunque el bluecoin es una copia tiene algunas cosas que esté debe de copiar por ejemplo para quién va dirigido la acción o nombre de la acción que cuando los listados solo sale la categoría y no el elemento o nombre de lo que se haga.. uso la nota pero no tengo forma de listar estoy elementos y me salgan de manera fácil pk tengo que hablarlo y ver que fue lo que se hizo en cada caso..aparte de que en los gráficos tampoco sales

On android models there is balance graph on main page, showing total amount every month. Also in summary on apple phone, you cant see every months details just : this week, last month last year. On android you can see month to month : january, february, march etc

Recientemente cambie de android a Apple, no estaba disponible esta aplicación y a mí me encanta.
Es muy fácil de usar y tiene muchos extras. Te permite usar diferentes tipos de cambio al mismo tiempo mientras otros solo te dejan uno.
Tienen categorías de gastos e ingresos por default pero puedes cambiarlos y personalizarlos, además de que los iconos están muy padres.

Tenía la versión Premium en Android y ahorita en IOS no puedo acceder a mí cuenta, espero siga mejorando porque me encanta!

I had FastBudget when I was using an Android device and it was superb! It's simple and easy to use, yet has just enough reporting and charts to show you exactly where your money is going. The best feature for me is the ability to create "hidden" accounts. These are accounts where the balance does not reflect in the total. This is perfect if you lend money or make purchases for someone on a regular basis and want to keep track of it that way without the balance affecting your total.

You also have the ability to add and modify the categories to fit your needs easily and quickly, with the choice to choose a built in icon to represent your category. Adding transactions is quick and easy. You can also create budgets for categories to keep track of your expenses for the week or month on say, food purchases.

Things I would love to see that the android version has (and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before those feature appear here) are: the ability to snap a pic of the receipt and small pie charts for each month on the summary tab. Outside of what the android version has, the only feature that would be nice to have would be the ability to have a check box for each transaction so you can mark it as "cleared" when balancing accounts (I forget to add transactions sometimes, don't we all?)

I plan to stick with FastBudget as it gets better and better and I encourage anyone that wants a simple, yet flexible way to keep track of their money to do the same! Keep up the good work Dev!
