I downloaded ConnectPay as a way to get snacks at school without having to go to my car for my card. I went to add funds using Apple Pay before we had a break during a 4 hour seminar. I wanted to only add $10 as I don’t usually use ConnectPay. I got the notification from my Apple Pay that the $10 was removed from my bank. But ConnectPay still shows $0 in my funds. I opened a help ticket to try to get this solved but no response. I tried adding $10 again and same exact thing happened. It shows that the money was taken out my bank. But shows $0 in funds on ConnectPay . I had to go without a snack because the funds would not push through and even after I replied about the second attempt still no answer. I have $20 sitting in purgatory because I can’t get an answer and ConnectPay is awful. I noticed there was an update so I downloaded that but the problem still persists
Firstly, as I have experienced, as well as other associates- food always tastes stale. The sandwiches taste all the same-it’s what we call the “freezer taste”. Then you have to watch for expiration dates, definitely check when purchasing from their services, sometimes the food is expired. The machines never work correctly, I’ve been asking for about a year for them to fix the fingerprint scanners, they never work correctly. I used the same finger everytime and the Canteen system always gives me a different balance from my application. My company uses this service in primarily all their locations and it’s horrible. Horrible service, please, if you’re looking to provide food services for your associates please use a different vendor. My app never matches what’s on the machine at work either. My application told me I had $10, the machine said I had $3.00 lol. At one point this service was great now they just don’t care.
I happen to have a previous job with canteen. It just so happens so does my new job, unfortunately I don’t have my old card. I’ve tried scanning a new card on the machine. No good. Tried it in ConnectPay . No good. Tried connecting with QR and ConnectPay freezes. What’s the point of this at all? It’s useless. This makes me not want to even use canteen and instead get products before I Come in. It’s time wasting an such a hassle when I need to get something in a pinch.
Aside from the prices being laughably high and rising, ConnectPay no longer allows you to just pay for what you are trying to by in the moment. Instead, you have to fund a minimum of $10. Why use ConnectPay when it’s full of bugs and the kiosk works better? Well, you get rewards. What they don’t tell you is that it will randomly cash you out! This happened as I was approaching the highest tier which is the best value. Seems rigged if ya ask me…
This is to alert new people who have these “machines” at their job. Go to the gas station instead.
This application is horribly designed and will not work well in most places. I thankfully work in a place with WiFi and the system STILL has issues letting me pay. The “customer service” is a joke. They will read you a script and give you the runaround until you hang up out of anger. They WILL take you money AND keep it without refunding if needed.
I got moved to a new facility where my phone would not pick up the new machines with Bluetooth. So I couldn’t or shall I say, CAN’T use my account which still has about $22 on it. I’ve written to their support email 3 times since the beginning of December and they have yet to reply to me. At this point I just want to close my account and get my money refunded to my account but there’s no way (I’ve searched the internet) to get ahold of these idiots! So I can’t use my account money and they won’t give it back or help me. Don’t bother with ConnectPay!
I have entered my password correctly everytime and I literally just made my account. It keeps saying wrong email or password when it’s literally the ones I used to set up the account. I’m happier not having an account and just paying with my card. I only got this because there’s an Avenue C at my work and I thought it would be easier to use but I’ll stick to my Apple Pay. Don’t bother downloading this or making an account outside of the kiosk use!
My employer contracted to have this service in installed at work replacing the traditional snack and soda vending machines.
I downloaded ConnectPay and created an account because about 50% of the time the card reader is malfunctioning and there are no cash options .
ConnectPay didn’t help at all. Even though it shows an account balance of the $15 I loaded, the machine kept rejecting it for insufficient funds for a $3 purchase. The merch is grossly overpriced and the frustration of trying make a purchase has pushed me over the edge.
I now stop at 7-11 on the way in to get my stuff and just skip the whole canteen fiasco.
Pretty sure the prices are so high to comp for the losses from people getting frustrated and just taking the merch without successfully completing purchases. Personally I’m not gonna risk getting fired for that. Just go elsewhere.
Just made an account 5 mins ago and already having problems. Tired connecting my connect card to ConnectPay and it won’t connect tells me to use other browsers so i did and it still didn’t work. So i can’t do it through ConnectPay , google/google chrome or safri. So i have a card with no way to put money on it. 😡 ConnectPay seems to have been out long enough to have had some type of improvements but from the reviews i read not many updates been done which is annoying… PLEASE FIX AND UPDATE APP. It would be very convenient IF IT WORKED RIGHT. IJS… HIRE SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP U KEEP UR APP UP TO DATE AND WORKING PROPERLY..
I called a month ago to get a refund since I’m no longer at the place where I would use ConnectPay or uploaded money. I’ve been told multiple times that I would get a call back and have not received one where they got my info to return the money. The account shows that the money got taken out. But there is no one that will answer to where it went. I don’t see it refunded into my account. It’s not a lot of money, but its out of principle that it seems like that they are keeping money that doesn’t belong to them.
I uploaded ConnectPay as stated on the back of the card. I out in my email and password. It will not allow me to sign in, tells me my password is incorrect. The other issue, I have money by using my fingerprint to complete my purchase. I should not have to go through this insanity of creating a new login when I’ve done this over three years ago. Anyone who has rated ConnectPay with high marks needs to be honest with themselves! You e never had an issue with trying to get any product.
Either refund my money remaining or fix ConnectPay and make it more user friendly!!! UGH!!!!!
ConnectPay was fine until the most recent update. It’s now requiring me to add a minimum of $15 to my account to be able to purchase anything. Previously I could just scan the barcode, pay the amount owed with Apple Pay, and move on. But now you want $15 at once for a bag of chips? It’s incredibly inconvenient for everyone I know and frankly, it’s just greedy on the part of ConnectPay developers.
Not to mention, our office has guests from other departments quite frequently so they are unable to purchase anything unless they commit to spending $15 for it because they’ll never use ConnectPay again.
The overall performance of ConnectPay has been decent since using it but the May 2022 update rendered it useless. The “added security measures” didn’t do anything but prevent access to my account. Even after resetting the password & having customer service provide me a new pin (my previous pin worked fine until the update) I can no longer access my account. Foolishly I put my trust in ConnectPay and added funds to my account for ease, yet now here I sit out of those funds as my only option is to create a new account. I’d highly suggest skipping the account all together as ConnectPay is now worthless.
I’ve been trying to create an account for over a week since my employer recently did away with Apple Pay and moved to this connect and pay platform. I’ve been trying to create an account but it continues to tell me that there is a problem creating the account and to please try again later. It’s later and I’m still running into this problem. There aren’t any phone numbers or email addresses to refer to for help. ConnectPay is a joke.
I have one of the vendors at my job and would use ConnectPay to make purchases, but I can’t even add it to my Apple wallet because it fails every time making ConnectPay pretty frustrating… fix this feature with a update i’ll will make people want to use ConnectPay more without having to open ConnectPay every time that i go up to the machine but other then that it’s ok just makes me not wanna use it
Good app but use to let you buy per product and now it makes you preload no less than $10 and I don’t like that. Because you’ll always have money in there and what if I leave the company that uses it and I want my money back haha. Please bring back the ability to pay for what you want in that moment and not preload a certain amount
I can't seem to add funds unless I use Apple Pay. I used to be able to use my CC and I'd receive a confirmation email but not anymore.
ConnectPay works fast for me. I never have any issues. I like being able to load up my account in my phone and scan the food and drinks I want to purchase. I wish the points program was a little better, but overall I think it’s a great app.
Thank you for ConnectPay. I can be more productive at work without worrying about being late because of waiting for food to be prepared. I have easy access right at my fingertips. Such a great improvement to my workflow. Now I can feel more in the zone, and my my tummy happy 😃.
When my employer put in an open fresh market I never thought I would use it- ConnectPay has made it so easy and quick to not have to wait in line behind everyone. Just scan and pay- we actually get a discount for using ConnectPay !
