Dead After Last Update

This was a great game, but the last update now causes the app to quit immediately on startup. It's still running but clicking it does the same thing. Rebooting the phone doesn't fix this. Please fix this!
More Info: running on iOS 7.1.2 on iPhone 4s. App detail says it's still compatible with iOS 7.0, but I suspect this isn't the case. (I can't upgrade due to another needed app will quit working).
Fortunately, I was able to restore this app from an older iTunes backup, but they still get 1 star for my trouble!

I paid to remove ads - still every time I turn the page ADS! No help or email support found 😡
I have young children that play this - and the ads for some of the books and games are NOT okay for children
I HAVE REQUESTED HELP SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO REPLY.
NOT A RELIABLE COMPANY - JUST WANT YOU TO PAY $$$$$$$$$$
