Why not charge people up front instead of having them waste their time downloading the application and creating a profile just to be asked to pay a subscription fee when we try to use the only feature for which people are downloading this? I’ve seen your replies to others regarding this, and you claim something along the lines of, “oh I thought we were clear, so sorry!” News flash!: if multiple users are saying it’s not clear, you’re probably not being clear. It would be clear if you charged the fees up front in order to download because, let’s be honest, no one is downloading your app to have yet another watch list devoid of alerts and you know it. SO, one has to wonder, if you’re being dishonest up front, with what else are you trying to scam me? Wait, I’ll answer that one for you - it’s with the outrageous prices you are charging. $299 for price alerts?! Alerts that can easily be set up for free with the “If this then that” (IFTTT) app? Really? I might be insulted if my first reaction wasn’t to laugh. No thanks.

To add to my previous comments (below)—while the developer comments here on reviews, they’ve been almost completely unresponsive to me. No responses to multiple inquiries I sent through StockTrackerMarketWatch . One response to my email with questions, to which I responded.... and got a reply 11 days later, which did not answer my questions. I’d already given up and deleted StockTrackerMarketWatch by then.

Like I originally said, these guys have a great concept, but neither StockTrackerMarketWatch nor the developer is ready for prime time. Too bad.

Positives:
• Pretty good design, clean and (mostly) easy to read.
• Ability to track stops is awesome

Negatives:
• Design 101: In the portfolio lists, for stocks that have more than one purchase in the same portfolio, the purchases are misleadingly listed below the stock, separated by a heavy rule, that makes it look like they belong with the next stock in the list (basic design faux pas)
• Failed to load prices for two of my stocks
• Customer support didn’t respond to two inquiries

Really was not ready to rate it, but it only allows very few stocks and insist you click a tap that says love it to add more. I do not love it, so far it’s s annoying, but if you don’t click love it StockTrackerMarketWatch doesn’t let you finish the portfolio, if you do not love it it does not take you to the rating page but ask you to send an email, thus the reviews you are reading are skewed in favor of good ratings.. very deceptive reviewing practice.

I tried to set up a stop loss reminder after going thru hassle of creating a account and thought was free. They want like 50 bucks a year or something for use of StockTrackerMarketWatch. No thanks!

1/2 of stocks won’t load and give a server error. The other half you can’t edit without StockTrackerMarketWatch crashing. I paid for the full version and would like my money back please.

StockTrackerMarketWatch looked promising, so I paid for a years subscription. However, I made a small mistake when I set the account. I have been trying for 2 months to get the problem resolved. All I get is a message to look into it, but no action.

The main page which displays your portfolios is blank—all portfolios are “hidden”, Making StockTrackerMarketWatch nearly unusable. I’ve been unable to get a refund on the subscription and app developer replied saying a fix was coming, but so far nothing. Waste of $!

I just wanted a comprehensive app that would notify me if I had either a drop or gain, StockTrackerMarketWatch was very basic and all alerts cost money. If I’m going to pay, it’s for proven app that has north of 1 million downloads.

When I'm on the list of stocks screen and I click on one of my stocks to update the price etc it takes multiple taps to get into the detail screen and when it opens it automatically closes and shuts down StockTrackerMarketWatch . I've tried to delete StockTrackerMarketWatch and then download it again but it does the same thing.

I love StockTrackerMarketWatch.

Hope the bug will be fixed soon.

They made me write this review for extra portfolio space. So I’ll update once I actually get to use StockTrackerMarketWatch since having a portfolio is mandatory.

App works (mostly) like it should. They said they’ll add some enhancements. Once they do, I’ll change this to 5 stars. The only bug I’ve found is that if you decide to change your trailing stop percentage well after you created the original alert in StockTrackerMarketWatch , it uses the high stock price starting from the time you change it, when it actually should be using the high stock price from the time you bought it.

I’d also like to see overall % gains for each of my individual stocks, not just for my entire portfolio (currently, it shows the overall $ gain but not the overall % gain)

Also, it would be awesome if it would show the current trailing percentage from the high stock price (after I bought it) so I know how close it is to hitting my stop.

Text message notifications would also be a must because I rarely check my email and I occasionally miss my push notifications, but I always see every text message I get.

Have no idea how it works yet, forced to rate before loading everything

Just starting to use StockTrackerMarketWatch, but it’s easy to enter your equities

Reasonably priced, too many ads, a much needed product.

Haven’t got an alert yet, but so far easy to setup!

Finally found a app to see all my stocks in one central location

Simple to see what you have!

I love StockTrackerMarketWatch! It really lets me keep track of my current financial positions (i add stock ticker symbol plus number of shares i bought and for how much and app calculates my current position when the market orice changes- saves me a lot of time). Also, while i own pieces (not whole shares) of some really expensive stocks, like Berkshire Hathaway-A at over $277,000 a share, i can’t yet add those, but that is a future possibility. A truly helpful app and customer service people r wonderful too!

Great for tracking multiple stocks, could use a users guide or maybe I just overlooked it.

The free version limits the number of stocks you can put in. Not sure how it progresses from there. But highly functional for my personal needs.
