So, on TikTok, this game has been shown up on my fyp a lot. I decided to play this game as a joke, and this game is just a bucket full of stereotypes.

First of all, it’s racist and stereotypes black people. What I mean by this is that the black girl has big lips. Black people having big lips is a common stereotype. Second, it’s transphobic. The lines “Boys go to the men’s restroom” and “Girls go to the woman’s restroom” are transphobic. The reason of why I think this is because what if someone was transgender? In their case, they would use the restroom that is the opposite of their birth gender. Oh, and don’t get me started on the sexism. There is no “wrong outfit”. You don’t have to be a girl to like makeup and dresses and wear high heels. You don’t have to be a boy to be strong and brave. It’s not illegal to dress up as the opposite gender. Nobody’s going to stop you. Nobody can do anything to prevent you from doing so, so why not do it? That’s only the start of the sexism. “Only woman can carry babies”. Like, you do know that mpreg exists? And also, the guy says “Men have beards” WHEN HE DOESN’T EVEN HAVE A BEARD HIMSELF!

This game is so stereotypical. If you are a parent, I really do not recommend this game to your children. It’s best to tell your kids yourself and not in a sexist, racist, or transphobic way like this game did. Thank you for taking the time to read this

If I could give this game zero stars I would. It's very sexist because it's saying "I'm a boy so I am tough and brave" while on the other hand it says "I'm a girl so I like princesses and the color pink." First of all, this is the 21st century, not the 19th. Women and men are equal. And also boys can wear girls clothing and like the color pink. Heck, I'm a girl and shop in the boys section half the time. It's also very racist because they made the black girl's lips way bigger than anyone elses. And finally, it's transphobic because it says "Women can only carry babies", but that's not true either. A trans guy (ftm) could not have gotten bottom surgery yet and get pregnant. Try to teach kids how to be good people and not stereotypes.

The game quality was horrible, And this is homophobic.

This game teaches children that men can only wear masculine attire, whilst woman can only wear feminine attire. This will leave children to believe that they have to dress the same as their gender, which isn’t true. We should be teaching our kids that it’s okay to dress feminine/masculine. Also, the black girl in this game has lips that were used in Blackface. Blackface was a form of makeup worn by racists as a form of mockery to black people. Giving the black girl these lips is extremely racist, and it is contributing to racial stereotypes. There’s a lot more that I could mention from playing this game but please, parents, don’t let your children buy this game. Educate them properly.

This game is teaching little kids things that aren’t true. some girls don’t wear skirts, some boys aren’t strong and brave. some girls wear boy clothes, some boys wear girl clothes. and every once in a while a girl/boy will come out as transgender and want to wear the opposite genders clothing. this game is basically telling people that boys need to be manly and strong, and girls need to be beautiful and angelic, which is NOT true. this game is stereotyping girls and boys. also, you may be wondering why this game is racist and that’s because for the little girl that is black, they make her lips different from the other kids because she is black. like no. this game is horrible and it better get deleted soon.

"gender differences" more like hurtful gender stereotypes. there are more genders than girls and boys, ALL genders can wear and do what they want no matter their gender or biological sex. not only women can carry babies, transgender people exist. also the fact that
this game is targeted towards small children??? honestly shame on any parent who allows their kid to use this game and shame on the game creator for even thinking it was a good idea. this isn't the 1950s anymore. forcing outdated gender stereotypes on young children is hurtful to them, and everyone around them. especially hurtful to the trans/lgbtq community. I hope GenderDifference either gets taken down or undergoes some serious changes.

I was seeing this game all around tiktok so i decide to see if it was as bad as people said, and it was so much worse. The game was racist towards this little black girl in the game and stereotyped her big time. Secondly, this game tries to teach kids that girls and boys can not wear the same clothes as the opposite gender. Not all girls have to wear dresses boys can wear them too. And it goes the other way around. Lastly, women can be dad and men can be mothers. It’s just might be that person’s pronouns or they could even be trans. This game is disgusting and it needs to be taken off GenderDifference store at once. If my child was playing this game I would be so angry.

I don’t even need to play the game. Found this crap on tik tok and from looking at just the game pictures, I can already tell this is a trash game. First off, the sexist stereotypes. Everyone can wear what they want. It’s not illegal for boys to wear dresses and girls to be tough and brave. Second, “only women can have babies” is scientifically incorrect. Sex≠gender. Trans people can carry babies too. So not only is that incorrect, that’s also transphobic too! Also “boys pee standing up” is also scientifically incorrect too for the same reason. Let’s also not forget that big lip racial stereotype on the black girl. Trash game that deserves to be flooded with one stars.

this game carries bunch of stereotypes and sexism. i don’t think it’s the right way of teaching children “gender differences.” all the game is teaching is stereotypes for men and women. example, when you try putting a dress on a boy it marks it as “incorrect.” same thing when you try putting on a shirt or shorts on a girl. lets move on when you try putting the opposite clothes or accessories on the adults as well. the game is only teaching children that “only women can wear dresses, heels etc.” please either take this game down or update it. not only it’s sexist and stereotypical but it’s racist.. they made the little black girl’s lips appear as “big” almost fitting into the old black cartoon characters on television.

It’s sad that it’s 2022 and we can’t move past the whole gender norms stuff and continuing trying to instill this way of thinking onto mere infants. If kids are confused about a topic, perhaps effectively teach them about what it is that they’re confused about and let them think for themselves instead of forcing down your own beliefs and morals down their throats, because what GenderDifference will ultimately do in the long run is confuse and scare them when they get older. Not to mention how racist this game is, designing the black character with big lips, perpetuating stereotypes and continuing more cycles of ignorance and hate. Overall, a horrible app with many hateful messages and such a backwards way of thinking. So disappointing and disgusting.

This game is sexist, transphobic, and racist, I can’t believe this is still an available game to play. I tried playtesting this for my brothers because their little and one of them told me they wanted it. Stupidly I downloaded it and went to one of the games. The bathroom one made sense, it was ok until I say the little girls lips. That was completely racist, and correct me if I’m wrong about that. Second game, dressing a child, immediately I was shocked. The boys were all saying stuff about being strong while the girls only remarked on their appearances in a stereotypical way. When you do choose a kid it won’t let you give the kids the clothes you want them to wear, a few others from these reviews didn’t like it either. I already knew I wasn’t going to get GenderDifference by the time I got to the third game. The women were saying stuff like “I am a woman, only women can carry babies.” And honestly I was already done with this game so I deleted it told my brothers it was a game with mean things, they’re little enough that they wouldn’t ask what things they were. Overall this game was racist, transphobic, and sexist in what seemed like intentional ways.

Hi, as a mother of 3 kids, this is NOT at all the way a child should be learning about gender difference. This is game while being sexist and tranphobic is just wrong. Boys can do the same things girls do, and girls can do the same thing boys can do. We should be teaching our children that no matter what they wear or act like they will be loved no matter what. and lets not forget about Nonbinary, agender, etc etc people. Children should be playing a game that makes them feel accepted for being the gender they are, not hated. What if a young girl sees this and dosent like dresses, or makeup? then what? this game is just teaching them that they r weird, freaks, etc etc. which is not true at all. i think that whoever made this game should remove it or fix it IMEDIATLY.

I saw a tiktok on this game, and downloaded it just to see how bad this game is…this is a horrible game! If you look at the black girl, you’d see they gave her lips similar to blackface. Not only that, but it says that “only women are mothers”-which is not true. It doesn’t allow the kids to wear whatever outfit they want either-it makes you dress them as the game thinks. There’s nothing wrong with cross-dressing. Furthermore, the game sends out the sexist message of “man big and strong and work 😈😈👺💪” while “woman makeup pretty housewife 🤱💋👗”. The “only men have beards” statement isn’t true either, in fact, in the 19th century, there existed the “Bearded Lady”, a woman who had a beard due to a condition.
Anyways, it’s LITERALLY 2022…. the hate this game sends out should NOT be accepted!

This isn’t really a good kids game with the sexism racism with the black women having big lips and how the kids say “I’m a boy and I’m strong” like that’s so stupid basically saying girls aren’t strong too? And also “I’m tuff and brave” like girls can also be tuff and brave it’s so stupid how they are saying that only guys can be those stuff and also the “I’m a girl I have long hair” guys can also have long hair too not only girls and the clothes why can’t one of the girls wear a robot shirt it’s literally a shirt but no they have to wear a shirt with flowers on it cause that’s “feminine” I really think this game should be deleted from GenderDifference Store especially with the reviews it has and also thank you for your time have a good day.

First the things the characters are saying are awful.
“Only woman can have babies” transphobic as trans men can have babies
And when you click the little boys they talk about being confident and strong but when you click the girls, they talk about their physical appearance. Then every time you try to dress the boys in “girl clothes” or the girls in “boy clothes”, it says to try again. Also when dressing up the parents, it won’t let you give the work bag to the woman, it won’t let the man wear high heels or lipstick, and again it won’t let you dress the characters in the “opposite genders clothes”. There is almost no diversity in this game. And at the end after you dress up the parents, it says “the choices you made were appropriate.” There’s nothing appropriate about teaching racism, homophobia, transphobia, and gender stereotypes to children as a good choice.

This is extremely sexist and transphobic, also why do the darker people have big lips? Why can’t the girl go in the boys? What if the girl wanted to be a boy, what if she got surgery? Also btw GIRLS CAN WORK, not all girls like dresses and princesses and pretty pink LIKE SHUT UP! Plus boys can wear makeup.. this is the most disgusting game ever please delete it or At least change it, the bathroom isn’t as bad as the others because it’s true BUT add a option where “ what if the girl wanted to be a boy” or the opposite. Plus ur using stereotypes, the black people have big lips??? This game is terrible if I had a kid.. I would NEVER make them play this, they would grow up to be a old sexist person… and probably transphobic.. if my child ever becomes like this I would never think of them as my child. Also the things the kids say in the game is so stupid just Delete this or at least fix it, to sum this all up DONT USE THIS GAME.

If I could rate this game a zero I would. The transphobia and the homophobia this game holds is unbelievable. When and if I have kids I’m definitely not letting them play this game😂. If you have kids I feel bad for them because they don’t have the right teacher. Someone needs to tell you this because apparently it’s not getting though in your head but children will be children and they will wear what they want, play with what they want, and do as the want to grow into what they please. If I saw a little boy wearing makeup and a dress I would be fine with that because it’s things that everyone wears. The dress is just a piece of fabric and the makeup is just something people wear. If I saw a little girl playing with a “boy toy” and or wear “boy clothes” I would be fine with that because it’s a toy and a piece of fabric. But anyways just know that kids will still be trans and apart of the LGBTQ community if you teach then homophobic was or not.

Any child playing this game is being taught that boys have to be strong and brave, while girls have to be dainty little princesses. We are in the 21st century. Why do you think it’s appropriate to teach literal toddlers gender stereotypes? One part of this game has a military outfit that you have to put on a character, but you can’t put it on the woman? Women also serve in the military. In that same part of the game, a briefcase appears and guess what! You can’t give it to the woman. And you’re telling girls that their hair has to be long?! My little sister has a pixie cut and she loves it. You’re also teaching little boys that men can’t wear makeup or like the color pink. You’re teaching little girls that they can only have “girl jobs” and wear “girls clothes” and like “girl toys”, while boys can only wear “boy clothes”, like “boy toys” and have “boy jobs.” How about instead of this, teach kids that they are allowed to like what they like. Also the transphobia? Telling people born male that identify as a girl that they have to use the boys bathroom and vice versa. These kids are our future.

So I saw this and downloaded it to see what kids about 5 and under were playing, HUGE WARNING, it is LITERALLY transphobic, and racist, and ofc from the title of the game, it has gender stereotypes. So I was playing the dress up game thing, and that’s where I saw the stereotypes, I was picking the kids and they would say things like “boys are strong and bravve” the boy doesn’t even have muscles, or “girls have long hair” the girl doesn’t even have long hair. Next, the racist part. I was looking at the kids, and I saw there was a little black girl, she looked pretty at first but then I saw it, she had duck lips. Next is the transphobic part. I was playing the bathroom game in this one this time, and I was playing it like normal, until it started saying things like “girls go to the girls bathroom” if your trans, you would go to the opposite bathroom of your birth gender. And you don’t have to be a boy to be brave or strong, and you don’t have to be a girl to wear makeup and heels. Too many things wrong, I suggest not to download this for your kids, or yourself. 😐

To all the people who’s re saying we are just stupid adults with time to waste to Wright “false bad reviews on a great game”( yes I’ve seen several of these) no it’s not a great game me personally am a masc fem no I don’t like dresses no I don’t have long hair and if I can I go in the family bathroom cause I don’t like to label my gender (I am kinda gender fluid I guess)(I’m only 14 trying to figure out my gender identity) and yes buys get beards but buys can wear dresses and girls can wear overalls and long pants to wear don’t just have to wear dressses and be “princesses” while the boys are “strong” and “brave” I have beat so many boys up at school I’ve beat so many boys at arm wrestling and I took my friend group to a haunted house for Halloween I was the leader of the line trough the rest (all boys) were crying their eyes out the hole time so yea I’m a girl and I’m strong and brave it’s also teaching children it’s ok to discriminate over gender identity it’s teaching small children that it’s ok to make fun of and not be ok to wear pants and a car shirt if your a girl and that if your a boy you can’t wear dresses no this game should be deleted

if i could give this no stars i would. i saw this game on tiktok and decided to see just how bad it really is, and it’s much worse than i had thought. it says things like “i’m a woman, only women can carry babies” “i’m a girl and i love dresses” “i’m a boy and i’m tough and strong” these are sentences that the characters actually said. this perpetuates sexist stereotypes about men, women, and basically erases the existence of transgender people. it won’t let you put dresses in boys or pants on girls and when you put the “proper” outfit on them, it says “good job, this outfit is appropriate.” why are you saying that girls can’t wear pants or that (trans) men can’t carry children? we are in 2022 and we’re still expecting men to be aggressive and emotionless and tough and never cry and woman to be obedient dress wearing baby carrying individuals? why is that something we are still teaching our kids? boys can wear dresses and girls can wear pants. boys can transition into woman and woman can transition into men. let your kids express themselves and develop their own opinions. we don’t have kids to make them just like us, we have them so that we can raise them to be who are they meant to be.

I honestly just got this game for laughs. I don’t have kids and am not a parent, but the information they are presenting in this game is both wrong and bad to teach children.
Let’s start with the bathroom. Although this part isn’t necessarily bad, they are really heavily playing into the there are only two genders(which is the whole premise of the game and is proven by science to be wrong) they are leaving out intersex. Intersex is a biological condition that presents differently but can cause a persons; hormones, organs, and dna to not properly fit into either female or male. Intersex people are as common as redheads.
And now let’s talk about the clothes. So when you are choosing a character to dress up they each say something, none of them being good things. The boys start by saying “I’m a boy,” and then continue with either “I pee standing up, i’m strong, or I’m tough and brave.” The girls also start by stating their gender and then say either, “I love dresses, my hair is long, or I’m a princess.” I don’t think I need to address the issues there but I will anyways. The boys say they are strong while the girls like princesses? I don’t know if the creators of this game never met actual children, but that’s not how it works. Girls don’t always have long hair and wear dresses, some girls are tomboys. And some boys like wearing dresses or also have long hair. And they are yet again ignoring the existence of intersex people. Clothes do not have a gender. And the catchphrases will not help your kids.
And lastly, where you dress up the moms and dads. Apparently moms have to wear makeup, a dress, heels, and jewelry, but they can’t wear shorts, flats, shave, or go to work? And it’s flipped for the men? That is pushing very old fashioned points of veiws, and there’s a reason they are old and not as many people believe them.
I really do not recommend this game for your kids. It will teach them nothing but bad ideas. Thanks and have a good day!
