Booking Confirmation - LOC 2304719994 Shittest hotel on this planet with the shittest customer service. Never even go in this hotel as i had the worst nightmare where they not only booked a hotel in Dusseldorf when i am asking for Frankfurt but over charged me. Now they are neither giving refund nor they are shifting my booking to Franfurt. Alll bla bla bla bal. When i called the central reservation desk and asked for help : the woman is saying that i should first spend my hard earned money to book hotel with MELIA , then even if they make a mistake then i should again spend my time to send a mail to customer service . Hi there: My name is Denny Jackson Melia #7202564G, Circle # CRMX-27786. My wife and I became Circle members in May of this year after going to La Perla 6 different trips. We were very excited about the ability to book more trips cheaper and were anxiously waiting for the Xmas in July Sale we had been told about (as the next in line time wise). However, we NEVER received notice of the sale, which I now understand to have been in early July. We are asking for your help to (a.) help figure out why we were not notified, and (b.) see if there is a possible I time exception to allow us to get a "sale level" break for Palma Real for Dec. 6-13. We have it booked under the gift voucher, but want to just pay cash for the December Punta Cana trip and then use the voucher for next year. When we looked at dates in May, during our buying process, we could buy in cash a Reserve unit cheaper than the food & beverage costs we would have to pay under the voucher. If you check with your records, you will see I have been all over your site all of July, usually more than once Dailey. This was going to be our first opportunity to use our Circle membership, the save the voucher for a better opportunity next year, probably for La Perla. Anyway, I hope you understand what I am asking for, and hope that since we are new Circle customers who have already paid our membership bill in full that you can find it in your heart to help us get a "sale" price on a Reserve level trip for Palma Real. Thank you, in advance, for your assistance in this matter. Not asking for anything free, just to rectify a problem not of our making. Every employee at the hotel tells you to use the app. HOWEVER the app doesn’t work. You cant check itenerary for resort activities any where else but the app (that doesn’t work), you cant reserve to eat dinner, which is mandatory if you want to eat dinner, but the app does not work and all the guest are left arguing with the staff just to eat. It’s ridiculous. I dont get why they cant just post the activities on another platform or on a paper and tape it to the wall. Also why they make it mandatory to reserve to eat dinner but lunch and breakfast you just wait in line for your turn. by the way not 1 employee knows how to work the app but they just say check the app or you have to do it on the app -_- train your staff on how to use the app if you are forcing the guest to done Everything on it

We first checked in and were told that the prices that we saw when we reserved our stay have changed. Almost doubling. Not only that the person checking is in said the new price change started today and it doesn’t matter if we booked our stay months ago and booked it with a previous price. Then our first day there was spent requesting maintenance for our room. Are sink didn’t work, safe didn’t work and our phone didn’t work. So we had to walk to the lobby since we couldn’t call. We were told several times (after walking back and forth from the lobby back to the room) that someone was coming to fix it. No one ever showed.... terrible, terrible, terrible. So much for relaxing and being taken care of on our honeymoon.

One of the worst apps ever. Don’t bother downloading. The Meliá website is almost as bad. Customer support told me there is nothing they can do and this is and has been a problem for a long time. Pre-check in doesn’t work. Cannot update and save my personal information such as address, country of citizenship or travel documents. Received email advising I can pre-check in to get 1,000 bonus points and upgrade. Well I can’t pre-check in andI can’t get those amenities. Have not even arrived at my destination and Meliá is already a disappointment.
