Downloaded RideSafrCare to use for my overnight Boston trip- but it was useless. Every time I tried to request a ride, it would freeze and i would have to force close RideSafrCare . IF it ever actually loaded, which happened twice in the like 25 times i tried, there were no drivers available

Like other reviewer’s I have had no luck being able to set up an account with RideSafrCare . That does not bode well for the experience when I am trying to use RideSafrCare to hail a driver. Not sure why it’s so difficult, but RideSafrCare tells me that it can’t set up an account because the data is in the wrong format (whatever that means).

I was excited to download RideSafrCare since I live in a large city and have had bad experiences with our public transportation in the past. However, there’s no way to tell if their services are available in your city until after you create an account, enter your payment information, and search your destination. It’s a waste of time. I’d like to know where RideSafrCare actually DOES work because it’s not available in Minneapolis (a top 15 market) or my home city of Chicago (the 3rd largest market in the US). App is pointless until they actually get drivers. Don’t waste your time. Just use Lyft.

I was out at night and was leaving a club alone, and the last thing I wanted was to drive a long distance with a male uber driver (have had really bad experiences in the past and at this hour only men were available). So I downloaded RideSafrCare, and finally got an account set up. I requested my ride (11:30 pm in Hollywood) and no drivers were available. I kept trying for 15 minutes or so and still there were no available drivers. RideSafrCare is a great idea, but it is nowhere near equipped to boast a fully functional, reliable application for women to feel safe.

I tapped sign in but it won’t let me. It keeps trying to create an account. I tried to create a new account but it won’t let me because it has my email. Because I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT. So I used a different email but then it wouldn’t let me because it has my phone number, again because I already have an account. I tried deleting RideSafrCare and reinstalling but it made no difference. I only have one phone number, so I guess I won’t be using RideSafrCare.

I’m moving to the city and will definitely need a service like this to ease my mind and my parents’ minds but I can’t even sign up for an account. It seems as though other people have also had problems with RideSafrCare as well. I would really like if it worked, but I don’t have a Facebook which is the only other signup option so it looks like I won’t be able to use it. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Unlike other ride share services, you cannot immediately schedule a ride. You need to wait one hour. Too many glitches too. Safr kept texting me the same text over and over. Also, I want to know my fate ahead of time. I couldn’t even deactivate my account because it kept asking me over and over to re-set my account. I don’t Uber alone. I was in Orlando and had to take one by myself so I signed up for Safr. Tried scheduling a ride and was told the nearest appointment was an hour from now. I canceled my trip and called an Uber. I was lucky and got a female driver. The Safr concept is a great idea but it did not work for me.

I LOVE the idea of RideSafrCare! I tried to download it for my daughter. It didn’t work! She was going out tonight IN BOSTON and we were not able to arrange a ride. After reading all of the reviews of people struggling to sign up I was so surprised that this was still an issue. Okay people, great idea, is this a QA issue or are you having technical issues? This was a very disappointing experience, please explain what the problem is and WHEN IT WILL BE RESOLVED.

When are you guys going to be available for use in New Jersey? I’m looking to use your app please consider in expanding soon out here 🫶

It was way to easy to make a profile. There needs to be any sort of verification process to prove that people are who they claim to be, or else it’s just like all the others.

I am super excited for this new concept of mostly women drivers with women riders. It’s also great that it is inclusive of men too, however they do an extensive background check for both men and women drivers.

Also, they seem to do a check for the riders as well since in the news lately there’s riders that attack the drivers not just the drivers are at fault since it involves at least two people in the car! That’s a very good reason to do a background check on both parties in the car!!

Awesome concept, great Mission and can’t wait for this to take off in Orlando as their second city thus far. It was started up in Boston by a concerned father with a daughter going to college soon.

Since it is new and all I believe you got to give it time to iron out the kinks after all this a whole new ballgame and if you want to make the team you gotta try out!

I don’t know why no one thought of this before. Working women can greatly benefit from it.

I would never ride with Uber or Lyft. It’s just not safe. Women driving women is needed to make sure women like me can easily and fearlessly travel anytime of the day. Safr can be the answer to so many prayers.

After having a lot of bad experiences with other apps I think I’ve finally found one that works for me. I’ve had no problems so far with any of the drivers or RideSafrCare .

Being able to choose my driver and know that they passed a background check, an interview and so did their vehicle is INVALUABLE! Safr all the way!

I decided to try out Safr to deliver food since some of the other delivery companies have been slow and disappointing. With Safr I got my food quickly and RideSafrCare was very easy to use. Highly recommend!

I'm giving this 5 stars because its a wonderful idea and I'd love it to continue to be executed. And there's a swarm of 1 stars because its not available in their area. And that is keeping the overall rating real wonky. Its an easy to navigate app and I really wish I could use it where I live.

I’m giving this rating five stars like a previous reviewer since many negative reviews are based on it not being in their city rather than actual operational status. It was easy for me to make an account and register, love the convenience of a safer cab app option! Please be aware however, that this company is currently focused on Boston and is in the works of expanding to other cities.

I got to use Safr when I was in Orlando and had a great experience. I’m so excited to see this company expanding its services to new cities, planning on using it again once it launches in my area.

You do need to check to make sure service is available where you are, I got in contact with customer service and they launch by city. Small but I will hang on to RideSafrCare until I can use it.

Used it while in Orlando / refreshing to have a polite driver that knew exactly where we were going / super cautious with safety too
