I’m using iPhone 13 pro running the latest speedybee app. My controller is Tmotor f7 pro, SpeedyBeeApp recognize my controller but after it say initialized it loses connection. I tried on inav 4 it worked 1 time. Inav 5 it worked one time when I connect it to my PC and connect SpeedyBeeApp at the same time. Inav 6 not working at all. May I ask if you have any luck with it ?
After new update, having SpeedyBeeApp and adapter 3 is worthless! SpeedyBeeApp doesn’t even connect consistently with the adapter 3. I wrote and sent a screen recording and SpeedyBee just apologized and said wait for the update. According to their update history this will be another 3 months! If you are looking to buy the Adapter 3: DON’T DO IT!! You’ll be wasting your time and money. Please read the latest reviews! Look how many 1 star reviews they have now!
I'm using the Speedybee app on a 2017 iPad Pro, with the Speedybee Bluetooth adapter and a BrainFPV RADIX FC. When I go to the CLI and issue any command which yields a lot of text output (DIFF ALL, DUMP, etc), SpeedyBeeApp drops characters...a LOT of characters. If you ever wanted to paste the output back into the FC, it would fall due to incorrect syntax and bad values for the command arguments. There seems to be no error checking or flow control. Data comes from the FC too quickly for the adapter and/or SpeedyBeeApp to process. I reached out to Speedybee, who replied saying "We tested it, it works." - totally ignoring the screen shots of it clearly not working! There has been no other communication from their support personnel.
Been using Betaflight on my PC with my new Pavo Pico cine drone, new to the fpv world. Was disappointed when opening SpeedyBeeApp and realizing I have to have WiFi on my drone :/
It would be AMAZING to be able to plug my iPhone 15 with usb c in to my drone to edit/change settings while on the go! Rather than lug a laptop just to make small changes.
Until this gets added, 3/5 stars. Once this feature gets added and works I’ll update accordingly.
Can’t zoom in all the way in on map or easily move waypoints, CLI crashes half the time, and somehow I can’t rename the modules after it glitched when I tried
When I go to set up rates there is no lines showing in the rate preview when I’m in demo mode and that’s really annoying.
Please please please this would be a great app if I didn’t have to use the cli.. how do I update the Run cam Racer 3 for use with iNav 5.0?
So happy to have a Betaflight Configurator on iOS using the Bluetooth adapter.
Just wish they had the new tuning sliders from the latest versions.
I love SpeedyBeeApp. I’m new to quads and RC altogether and this has been so easy to use. Any issues I have run into with quads the support has been able to assist me in less than a day. The bluetooth set up in the field off your phone is great as well.
SpeedyBeeApp is great. I love being able to change vtx channel too. My only comment would be to add the Led strip tab so we can change led color for racing. Then it will be complete!! Thank you!
SpeedyBeeApp is very instrumental in getting your quad up and running, tweaking PID’s and making sure your performing your best flying with a great quad, no more dragging out the laptop or going home to fix something that will only take seconds... you can do it in the field now, outstanding.
I use my computer WAY less now since I can do almost everything in Betaflight using SpeedyBeeApp, thanks speedybee!
If I could update flight controller firmware with this I’d be 100% computer free:)
SpeedyBeeApp works great! Now I don’t have to take my laptop flying with me! It does everything the computer can do except flash firmware. Highly recommend!
App claims it currently does not fully support inav 7.1.
SpeedyBeeApp claims CLI support works but I does seem to work either I have only tried BT BLE connection.
I used SpeedyBeeApp with inav 7.0 and really liked it so I hope SpeedyBeeApp will be updated soon.

SpeedyBeeApp paired with their usb bluetooth adapter makes it so fast and easy to configure my fc, both in the field and at home, I really don’t need my laptop anymore!
Super cool app, but has some bugs. For example, mission screen for iNav doesn’t render any map layers, so you can’t understand where markers are
SpeedyBeeApp linked with the device never leak my backpack. Just an example: Sometimes I have missed a switch in modes tab and was able to correct it in the field. The tool is absolutely essential to the hobby. Nothing but praise for this product. GET ONE !

I’m fairly new to to FPV and getting into PID tuning. I’d been taking my laptop out with me which is incredibly inconvenient and cumbersome. I got the Speedy Bee Adaptor 3 and I plug it in to the flight controller and battery then connect to my phone via Bluetooth. I certainly wouldn’t use this set up to a quad from scratch and I’m sure that was not its intended function. It’s absolutely a viable solution for making small adjustments (especially for PID tuning) in the field vice using your laptop.

Communication between mobile devices and flight control boards can be achieved through Bluetooth, you can use mobile devices to set the parameters of the flight controller.Any Bluetooth module compatible with your mobile device can be used, but if using the SpeedyBee Bluetooth-UART Adapter, this Bluetooth module will deactivate and activate automatically according to the status of the drone(armed/disarmed), no Bluetooth signal interference during the flight.
3.Open the APP, connect the Flight Controller via Bluetooth, and you can adjust the parameters now.
