I used to order regularly from Leeann Chin. Ever since LeeannChin change, it doesn’t work. Today it won’t recognize my phones - says the format is wrong. I can’t actually change the format. It’s hard coded into LeeannChin . I tried to contact them last time I had issues, and the response was that I was doing something wrong. ..I was following their instructions exactly.

This update does not work on iPad8. I get stuck on the rewards screen. Why do I have to pick a favorite location in order to redeem points. It shouldn’t matter where I eat. I’m about ready to delete the updated app. There are lots of local restaurants out there that will gladly take my money without all this nonsense.
UPDATE: I have deleted LeeannChin . I tried and tried but it’s just impossible to navigate from one screen to the other. They need to go back to the old app which was much more user friendly.

This forced update effectively ends my online relationship with LC, with whom I ordered at least twice a month. The iOS this requires is not available for an iPhone 7. Mine still works beautifully and I’m mindful of the tons of toxic waste off shored from electronic devices. I don’t need a replacement yet. Perhaps your developer has not heard of this waste problem and the “right to repair” movement to reduce unnecessary electronic waste. This waste not only hurts the environment but children in developing countries who work to “recycle” the precious metals these phones and other things contain. I’m deeply disappointed in LC’s complicity in this by making this available only to iOS 16 for “smoother experience”. Fortunately my iPhone 7 can still access social media and encourage people to avoid LC until LeeannChin developer gets a little more socially conscious. Please try harder.

Been using LeeannChin since 2017, loved it, recommended it to others, etc. Now it’s demanding an update, says only for IOS 16.0 and later, my iPhone 6s is up to date with a 15.7.8 version. In reading other reviews, it seems as if the developers purposely made LeeannChin incompatible with older iPhones? I’m not going to unnecessarily purchase a new iPhone just to use the stupid Leeann Chin app, so I guess it’s goodbye from me. And I will definitely not be visiting the locations as much anymore. LeeannChin was my incentive to eat there so often.

The new app just doesn't work! The o;d app worked great - easy to use, and it ALWAYS worked. I have tried to log in to my account on the new app over 20 times(!) and it simply doesn't work. The "password reset" function never works. This is costing Leeann Chin a lot of businees. I previously used the old app at least twice per month to place a takeout order. Since they introduced the new app I've used it ZERO times and only visited Leeann Chin's once over several months. When I mentioned LeeannChin problem to a store employee today he said "I know, LeeannChin doesn't work for ANY of our customers!"

This was my first time ordering from LeeannChin . I’m a heavy user of apps for food ordering and these are my suggestions for a better user experience:
1. Allow user to use Apple Pay or saved credit card info from phone.
2. Clear cart once order is placed. It’s confusing to see my order still in the cart after it’s been successfully placed.
3. Show order history so I can look at prior orders. There is a “Your Orders” button on the home page but it says I need to select order mode and location when I click it. It seems to want me to start a new order but I want to see placed orders. I realize I received an email but I like to be able to view my order in LeeannChin after it’s placed.

The mobile ordering in LeeannChin does not provide an option to add a tip onto delivery orders. DoorDash drivers frequently accept and then decline my order, resulting in long waits for delivery. I’m guessing that the difficulty in finding a driver is a result of no tip being visible in the order. This is a huge flaw in the ordering system and needs to be corrected. You are hurting drivers and customers by not including the ability to tip within LeeannChin .

It seems each and every time I go to this location that behind the guard for the food, food is ALWAYS spilled over. Three people working and not one has thought that should be wiped up? The empty trays replaced with either new food or an empty one?

The service provided is great!

If the three have time to lean, they’ve got time to clean!

Love the design of the new app, but I had to spend a ridiculous amount of time getting logged in.

I was unable to log in to the updated app, not because I didn’t know the password, but because my password no longer met LeeannChin ’s security requirements. My spouse then tried and hit the same roadblock.

Running out of time I decided to log in with Apple quick. Bad move, because it attached my phone number to the new temp account. This made it so I couldn’t log in to my regular account later.

Then I had to delete LeeannChin , because the only place to delete the temp account is on the website, and guess what happens if you try to load it on your phone? It automatically moves back to LeeannChin , which doesn’t let you delete your account.

App deleted I logged in to the website and deleted the temp account, reinstalled LeeannChin and logged in to my old account. Great! Yet, no. Because all my orders and fortunes are GONE with the update.

Thanks for taking 45 minutes out of my day all because the developers couldn’t figure out a way to have users update their password to the new standard when first logging in instead of this lazy result.

We got food elsewhere.

My husband and I visit this location frequently. The staff are pleasant and the food is good. However, on almost every visit, they begin sweeping the carpeted areas near us while we are eating. We’ve literally watched small bits of food and dirt airborne around us and it’s really unacceptable. We are there early enough that they don’t need to be cleaning yet, especially while customers are still eating nearby. I’m hoping that they read this and address the issue as we would like to continue coming here but it is getting more difficult to do so.

Ok, I enjoy the perks of earning free stuff.. but LeeannChin needs a couple of tweaks. First, The "news" feed doesn't display a date time, so when you get a new message it could be weeks old and you would have no idea. This is important because they give you time sensitive specials that expire. They second item is the timer after you redeem a deal, I understand they want you in the store and for you not to forget about going, but 15mins? Please increase timer. Last, I got an email for my bday perk stating to go into LeeannChin to redeem/view, it never showed up, maybe next year?

The minimum order online is for catering for 10 or 15 people and need to be deliver. Obviously LeeAnn Chin app is missing the big picture of the regular customer who just want to order for himself.
Make the menu available to place an order online by separated menu item and a photo of what look like, then ad the quantity of the what is order; then at the end able to see your order in a basket before placing de order, then you have a nice app, otherwise you are missing out single customers orders and the most important, their money too.
If you ad this LeeannChin it will be perfect.

LeeannChin is great for using restaurant promos which they have great deals for fairly often. However I do not recommend using it unless you’re ordering for pickup. When ordering for delivery you get an email that your order will be delivered through DoorDash and that DoorDash will contact you but they don’t and there is no way to track the delivery, including once it has been delivered. No way to tell who the Dasher was or request a refund when the food did not arrive. I also noticed right after ordering that it shows my order was placed at 7:15 when it was actually placed at 6:40 and the delivery time expected was 7:26 which is strange

I placed an order at the Glen Lane location in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and then tapped on the Google maps link to use navigation to get there. I wasn’t familiar with that location, but it ended up taking me to an industrial park where there were no sign of any restaurants. So something wasn’t working correctly on the navigation link to this particular store.

This new update does not work on iPhone 7. I frequented the Edina location often. Now I will not. I can no longer take advantage of the Rewards nor can I order online. iPhone 7 is still a viable phone. Very unfortunate that you will be loosing customers.

Thank you guys so much! I was down to a pawltry sixteen seventeen dollars. Then I rcvd. an alert that wanted me back. “ Free entree with any purchase. Then I told my lady. She’d been hungry for hours. I said let’s go have some fun, half of it for free. We have fun in a Leeann Chin restaurant and people watch all the others catching the specials. Thanks again!

I have been trying for a week to get into my account since the latest LC app update! Can I just get my rewards I had previously earned that now seem like they are gone forever!

The new app does not work on my iPad Mini. On my iPhone the new app works, but it appears to have lost my reward points. Both devices have the latest updates installed.

I have been a customer since LeeAnn Chin first opened in the Union Depot. Sure miss that restaurant format, but the stores offer consistent quality at a good value.

My only improvement advice is to bring back the shrimp toast! I now have to make it myself.

Excellent customer service. Paid attention to all my needs, even knowing I wanted to use the bathroom. He and his team were efficient and professional. You couldn’t have a better employee than Rodrigo. I’m impressed.
