I love KungFuTeaRewards. I achieved black belt status waaay faster than I should have. My only frustration with KungFuTeaRewards has to do with when I order certain drinks that come with default toppings. For example, when I order mango slush which comes with mango jelly by default, some stores will include the jelly while others don’t. In KungFuTeaRewards , the toppings section offers a “no mango jelly” option but no option to specify that I do want the mango jelly. It would be nice to have a notes/comments option to make sure that our orders are consistent from each location.

The point of ordering ahead is convenience & efficiency. At The Carmel Mt Rd location specifically, KungFuTeaRewards gives an excessively delayed pickup time. This would not be as annoying if the drinks were actually ready at the stated pickup times given. To have to “check in” is a silly concept if they were effective & efficient. It shouldn’t be a check-in it should be a pickup. I’ve continued to return to this location because of geographic convenience & every time the start to finish experience has been consistently 45 minutes to an hour for 2-3 drinks-ridiculous! I will no longer patronize this location (period)… The Convoy location, on the other hand is a totally different experience (which is why I gave 3 stars & not 1). KungFuTeaRewards pickup time was a reasonable 10 minutes & by golly, the drinks are always ready at, or within a few minutes of my scheduled pickup time.

Me and my dad have been coming here for maybe almost a year, and we really like it! The only thing is that my dad doesn’t like many bubbles in his drink and there is no way to put “half bubbles” when you order on KungFuTeaRewards , and because of that we always have to come in to order my dads drink. Another thing I think they can improve, is there rewards system, from the past 7 months of us ordering on KungFuTeaRewards getting at least 3-4 drinks all together every week we have only received 2 free drinks, one when we got KungFuTeaRewards and one about a month ago. I think they can do better in that area as well. Besides that there drinks are AMAZING and everything is really tasty! My rating is a 4 because of KungFuTeaRewards , but when they fix that my rating will be a 5!

KungFuTeaRewards is okay. Locations are good but the user interface is a bit tedious. When I’m trying to order ahead, I don’t want to have to click in 3 times before being able to search for the drinks. The (view menu) bottom takes you to another generic menu bottom. This is unnecessary. The menu itself has finally gone through a facelift which was much needed.

Finally, KFT is partnered with DoorDash. Why not add a delivery option so we can add our discounts and have it delivered? It doesn’t make sense that we could either order through Doordash and have it delivered with no discount, or order it through KungFuTeaRewards with a discount but have to pick up.

3 stars. Remove the additional menu touch and add a delivery method.

KungFuTeaRewards is really easy to use and I like that I can earn free drinks even though you have to buy a lot to get 1. The only time I’ve had problems is when I ordered a drink but the drink isn’t available at that location. Then it was a pain to get a refund. Also, if they’d add the ability to preorder a drink even when the store is closed. I like to plan ahead and most apps/places allow you to do this.

The convenience of being able to order ahead is nice but that’s about it. The reorder button doesn’t work because every time I try, it says that the merchant has changed the menu and I have to re-add my items. I order the same thing every time. How often do they change the menu? Every other day? It also makes no sense why we can’t opt in to deals through KungFuTeaRewards . They send so many emails, I had to unsubscribe, but then I was getting a bunch of notifications in app about deals that I had to opt-in through email. I turned off notifications too. Useless.

I ordered on KungFuTeaRewards at a Texas Location. KungFuTeaRewards allowed me to order and the money was taken immediately from my account. When I got to the location, the doors were locked and the worker who answered the phone told me that they had no supplies to make any drinks at all. I asked for a refund and she said she already issued it. I waited a week and a refund was never issued. Then later in the week a snowstorm happened throughout Texas and by the time I was able to get back to the location to inquire about the refund, all the worker at the counter could tell me was, “I’m sorry, KungFuTeaRewards just messes up sometimes and we can’t go that far back.” I had the receipt on KungFuTeaRewards yet nothing apparently could be done.

There’s a store maybe 5 min away from my house so I ordered a pick up thinking it would automatically be the nearest store- the store location only shows street name and not the city until you press it. When I went to pick up my order, they said it’s the wrong store and I had to drive 15min out which irritated me bc it was the complete opposite of where I was headed to! Then I tried to call by pressing the number on KungFuTeaRewards but it wouldn’t work then I tried to open my map app from KungFuTeaRewards and that also didn’t work! After I picked up my order, I searched for the one nearest my house and that store doesn’t show up. Also, it doesn’t give you the option to choose the location of the pick up!! What good is KungFuTeaRewards?????

I love this boba shop, but KungFuTeaRewards definitely needs some work. Whenever I go to order ahead, it asks me to find a store but it always says there are none near me when there’s one five minutes away, and because of that I can’t even order using KungFuTeaRewards . Again though, the actual products are great! Just not KungFuTeaRewards .

I’m new to the world of Kung Foo Tea and have only been able to order on KungFuTeaRewards . I love the product! But I wish KungFuTeaRewards was more informative. As someone with a tapioca intolerance… I would like to know which drinks come with “bubbles” as a default before I get my $5 drink and realize it will give me a stomach ache. Some drinks include tax, some do not, I’m not sure how I’m paying sometimes (credit, reward, or from my card) and I didn’t even realize there were “more toppings” until a friend pointed it out to me. There’s a lot to be improved here, but if you’re familiar with the menu it may not be as much of a problem.

KungFuTeaRewards should really be more clear about when drinks come with toppings. There are so many ways to make this easier for both the user and the vendor. It was also frustrating that a card scan feature was included on KungFuTeaRewards , but it just didn’t work. I’m sure it isn’t a problem with KFT in particular, but remove “features” when they don’t work.

I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here and I absolutely love the drinks, so I’m rating KungFuTeaRewards , not the business.
If offers for 65 cents worth of free toppings that expire in 2 days thrill you, KungFuTeaRewards is for you! Or if you want to get $1 off a drink when you’ve spend hundreds here…
I earned a free drink and it said up to $5, which is less than most of their drinks. I didn’t even use it so not sure if they subtract that from the value of your drink. I’m deleting KungFuTeaRewards mostly so I stop getting the obnoxious emails about “free balls.” Luckily their drinks are better than their puns!!

Several times I have ordered through KungFuTeaRewards and when I arrive I’m told that they don’t have that flavor at that location. It needs to be clear on the menu so I don’t waste time waiting for a new drink to be made, especially during Covid! Alternatively, it would be nice if I was contacted to see if I want to replace my drink.

KungFuTeaRewards it’s easy to use but it would be nice to add a notification to the customer when the order is actually ready to pick up specially now during covid. Knowing when the order is ready to pick up limits the amount of people coming in to check of order is ready.

Easy to use for ordering and seeing what rewards you have. You can even save previous orders for later if you’re a regular of a certain order and if you mess up on anything in KungFuTeaRewards all you gotta do is call and let them know before they make it. Definitely worth the download even if you don’t get tea there biweekly.

I’ve run into nothing but issues with KungFuTeaRewards where I can’t search for a store, can’t add an order, can’t view a menu, with this being the only way my local store can take orders, I’ve now tried 2 times walking in and numerous times on KungFuTeaRewards and never been able to order.

The menu online is always missing 2-3 drinks compare to the store menu. I think it does a great job on adjusting drink based on ingredient and diet. But I hate that everytime I adjust my drink and add all the steps I want for the order then place order, KungFuTeaRewards notifies that the drink isn’t available. If something isn’t available it should stop me from doing all the step for nothing. Really wasting time.

KungFuTeaRewards needs customization options or a special instructions box. I always order the matcha slush but app only allows me to order the match red bean slush. I have to call into the store to request no red bean, which defeats the efficiency and the purpose of ordering from KungFuTeaRewards

KungFuTeaRewards would be better if I didn’t have to use my phone to pay every time but I could still get my rewards. Sometimes i’d like to pay cash or a friend wants to pay and I can’t use my rewards unless I pay with my phone.

I would love this if I could just scan my rewards or use a phone number each time.

All the promotions go to your email spam folder and you have to “opt in” to get any of them. Doesn’t make it very convenient when you forget to do this or don’t opt in until you impulsively decide to go. Frustrating when you make a qualifying purchase but it won’t add the reward (ex extra bubbles) to your account if you opt in after you made the qualifying purchase. I go less and less because of this. Rewards are so slow to get too.

I have many apps from restaurants and I notice that many of them allow you to order from KungFuTeaRewards and then pick up from the store. Many would say what if something comes up and you are late so the tea has been sitting on the counter for a while. Well the Chick-fil-a app checks your location or asks you when you are here so they can prepare it for you. That way you can skip the line. KungFuTeaRewards is excellent and has potential. No complaints at all.

KungFuTeaRewards is severely flawed as a payment app for many reasons. 1.) It only lets you load money witj $25 being the lowest amount. There should be lesser options than $25! 2.) When you load money, you cannot view your balance!!! It doesnt tell you if the money was successfully loaded, so I accidentally loaded $50! 3.) If you arent careful, the option to automatically reload once your account dips below $10 will be turned on, so your card will be charged automatically. You can’t even see your balance so you don’t know if your account is about to reach $10!!!!

PLEASE FIX KungFuTeaRewards, ITS NOT A GOOD PAYMENT METHOD FOR KUNGFU TEA! There are HUNDREDS of reviews saying this, so why hasnt it been fixed yet???? KungFu Tea doesnt care about its consumers.

Easy to use app that gives you free drinks, what are you waiting for?
Unlike Starbucks, KFT doesn’t force you to have an account with them and store money into that account. You spend as much and as little as you want. Plus, they send you cute notifications occasionally and they’re super funny.

VERY misleading app. I wanted to use a coupon and was told I had to download KungFuTeaRewards and pay with it to get the coupon. So, after I did it automatically charged an extra $20 without asking permission!! That should not automatically be set that way! I contacted their customer support over a week ago and still have not got a reply. So now I guess I’m stuck with $20 credit to a place I hardly go.

KungFuTeaRewards has screwed me out of my money. The only way I am allowed to use it at the location I am at is if I am spending at least $10. The average drink at most costs me $7 which means that I have to buy two. Now that I am down to $8 on the account, I can not even use that money. It’s stuck in there because I have to spend at least $10. Ridiculously unfair waste of my money. Not worth it. Just use cash.

Terrible app from a dishonest company. Does not tell you the current balance of how much you have left. Leaving out this information is only so that you are unaware of how much you spend at the store. By default KungFuTeaRewards will also choose to auto charge by 25$ every time you don’t have enough funds, without notifying you that you are being charged.

KungFuTeaRewards is awful. It charged me for a drink I didn’t order and when I asked the cashier about this, they said I ordered two drinks. I did not. The other worker said it was the QR scanner’s fault because I was charged for the drink of my friend behind me. My friend paid for his drink though and all the worker had to say was that my friend needed to Venmo me.

KungFuTeaRewards seems like a bad scam. The only way to earn rewards points is to enter your credit card into KungFuTeaRewards and pay through KungFuTeaRewards . The minimus is$25 each time. High for tea. And other reviews have warned hope they lost money. Seems super sketchy and a really lame rewards system. What a shame. Will be deleting immediately

In order to earn you have to have your payment method stored in KungFuTeaRewards . And we’re talking a credit or debit card not loading funds from PayPal or Apple Pay. That’s something I’m not comfortable with. Without it, you can’t redeem offers and you can’t earn points. To me that makes KungFuTeaRewards unusable

$10 was the minimum to use app payment and I had to buy 2 drinks to use free drink reward that covered $4. The cashier said like "You can not use this reward under $10" with bossy attitude. Even though 1 drink is around ＄5 and I just wanted it. It's ridiculous and reward on app didn't mention about it.

With 168 stars and only 2⭐️/$1 earned, you’d have to be drinking bubble tea all the time to make using KungFuTeaRewards for the “reward” worth it. So $100+ spent for $4 off. With that, you can get a small drink with no toppings. The asian in my is crying!!

I miss the days when it was simple 10 stamps gets 1 free drink, no limits.

KungFuTeaRewards tracks all my transactions and puts perks right into my account like free bubbles and tea! Sometimes there is a freebie just waiting for me to use it!

App does not automatically apply credits or rewards that it says you have.

In store workers are absolutely incapable to help. If anything goes wrong they will tell you to “contact the support on KungFuTeaRewards .” Of the transaction goes through they cannot cancel or modify the order.
