If you need to get somewhere in Trinidad, on time, and without any problems then you definitely DON'T want to use DROPRide. Non-existent customer service and completely unreliable drivers. The icing on the cake for us was missing our flight, after nearly an hour of waiting for a pre-scheduled and pre-"confirmed" taxi.
Terrible customer service and they don't show up on time or at all. If you need to go somewhere it might be easier to walk than use DROPRide.
I used this for the first time a few days ago. Very convenient, very smooth service. You can choose to pay with cash or card. It works pretty much just like Uber, but you’re supporting a local entrepreneur.
DROPRide is not as intuitive as Uber but it definitely gets the job done. Real time tracking, driver info, price estimates...it’s definitely the safest and cheapest way to get around Trinidad.
Make sure you request Sean or Nadia for all of your rides. Friendliest, nicest and best drivers ever!
