Got the $8 credit for being one of the first drexel students to download GoodUncle and I got the buffalo Mac and cheese for $11. They sent the message saying they were on the way. Once they arrive, they said I have 5 mins to pick up my order or they would leave. 3 mins into this I get a call saying that I wasn’t there in 30 secs the guy would leave. I got there in time and got my food. Went back to my room to eat and the food was drowning in the buf/cheese sauce. It was pretty bad and the next morning having to run to the bathroom and got sick. I had to call off work. The next day I got an email from them askin if I would provide them with feedback on GoodUncle . I logged onto GoodUncle and was in a chat with customer service and they said “customer service responds within 5 minutes of the sent message” it’s been over 50 minutes with no response. Not likely to try this place again or recommend. Awful app and service

My first delivery experience was not a good one. I begin ordering knowing that delivery will take approximately 70 minutes. Annoying, but whatever, I’ll watch some football in the meantime. I go through with my order and the delivery time doesn’t change.

70 minutes later, GoodUncle has updated the delivery estimate a number of times, going up by 10 minute increments. At this point, I’m getting upset that the time I’m told to meet my driver is continually being pushed back.

110 minutes, a full hour and 50 minutes after I ordered, I get an alert. I guess it’s time to meet my driver and finally have some dinner. I open GoodUncle as I’m walking out the door to the pickup site down the street, only to learn that I need to be there in a minute and a half before my driver will leave with my food. I quicken my pace because I’m not trying to lose my food to this company, but come on, this is not a reasonable expectation of your customers.

tl;dr: My delivery time was delayed by 40 minutes but my driver was about to leave with my food after waiting for me for only 3 minutes. I’m still floored that they would’ve taken off with my food after pushing me around for nearly 2 hours.

I don’t usually write reviews for apps. But, this one is especially bad. It simply will not let me order food—which is the whole point of Good Uncle.

My experience: I go ahead and add food to my card, proceed to check out, and it tells me there is no payment method on file. Weird, so I go into my setting to check it out. I confirm that I have two payment methods on file—great. So, I go back to the cart to checkout and it’s still showing me the same message that there is no payment method on file. Fine, whatever, so I try to add a different card. Doesn’t want to accept it—the page just keeps loading, and loading, and loading. Tried doing adding a new card as well as the same cards on file on 3 different phones thinking it was something wrong with my phone, and nothing worked.

Customer support, while nice, was no help. Said they would pass the issue along to their tech team. But, now, reading these reviews it looks like this issue has been happening for months. This is completely unacceptable. I have money strictly for Good Uncle through my University that I am not able to use. What a waste.

Get it together.

I ordered some chicken fingers last night and scheduled for a pickup 15 minutes from when I ordered. The fingers were there in 8 minutes and I may have finished them within approximately 2 minutes. Going from sitting on my couch hungry to full and happy on my couch in 10 minutes...that experience can’t be beat!

Let me start by saying this is a good concept and the food is very good. However, your app has been consistently glitchy for over a year now and it’s driving people away. I’ve had friends unable to use GoodUncle due to it not taking their credit card. I’ve had friends place deliveries that never came. I’ve been unable to purchase items simply because sauce is required for meals and the truck was out of SAUCE, despite the dish itself being stocked!! Right now, I am unable to add items to my cart, so I can’t buy anything to eat tonight. Disappointing. Get it together.

Good Uncle is a total life saver. Not sure it gets much easier than this! Always on time and always delicious, lucky to have this as an option on our campus.

The Newark DE location has been closed and silent about reopening since last fall even though there are many employees in the building every day. When they were open, it took over an hour to get a bagel pickup order on two separate occasions.

Even though they’re “closed” their delivery drivers block the street outside the building at least twice a week, managers are usually standing outside talking on the phone, and multiple cooks are always outside smoking. Bad for the community and a bad business model.

None of the apps functions worked. None. Couldn’t remove items from my cart. No option to add my dining card. Gave up and then tried adding credit card which didn’t work either. If convenience is the selling point then GoodUncle doesn’t even have a selling point. I could have walked to my car and driven to a real restaurant in the time I’ve spent trying to get this terrible app to work.

Love. This. Company! Food came in less than 20 minutes and delicious. App is easy to use. Can’t wait to order again

Had a great first experience and have never seen the store open again at UNC CH. No point in looking forward to food from here.

Once downloaded it could not find my location even when manually putting in address it always thought I was in NC for some reason. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!’

The food is too expensive for me to have to walk 6 mins at night just to get my food. If that’s the case, I might as well get Grubhub or Tapingo.
