Got the $8 credit for being one of the first drexel students to download the app and I got the buffalo Mac and cheese for $11. They sent the message saying they were on the way. Once they arrive, they said I have 5 mins to pick up my order or they would leave. 3 mins into this I get a call saying that I wasn’t there in 30 secs the guy would leave. I got there in time and got my food. Went back to my room to eat and the food was drowning in the buf/cheese sauce. It was pretty bad and the next morning having to run to the bathroom and got sick. I had to call off work. The next day I got an email from them askin if I would provide them with feedback on the app. I logged onto the app and was in a chat with customer service and they said “customer service responds within 5 minutes of the sent message” it’s been over 50 minutes with no response. Not likely to try this place again or recommend. Awful app and service

I don’t usually write reviews for apps. But, this one is especially bad. It simply will not let me order food—which is the whole point of Good Uncle.
My experience: I go ahead and add food to my card, proceed to check out, and it tells me there is no payment method on file. Weird, so I go into my setting to check it out. I confirm that I have two payment methods on file—great. So, I go back to the cart to checkout and it’s still showing me the same message that there is no payment method on file. Fine, whatever, so I try to add a different card. Doesn’t want to accept it—the page just keeps loading, and loading, and loading. Tried doing adding a new card as well as the same cards on file on 3 different phones thinking it was something wrong with my phone, and nothing worked.
Customer support, while nice, was no help. Said they would pass the issue along to their tech team. But, now, reading these reviews it looks like this issue has been happening for months. This is completely unacceptable. I have money strictly for Good Uncle through my University that I am not able to use. What a waste.

Let me start by saying this is a good concept and the food is very good. However, your app has been consistently glitchy for over a year now and it’s driving people away. I’ve had friends unable to use the app due to it not taking their credit card. I’ve had friends place deliveries that never came. I’ve been unable to purchase items simply because sauce is required for meals and the truck was out of SAUCE, despite the dish itself being stocked!! Right now, I am unable to add items to my cart, so I can’t buy anything to eat tonight. Disappointing. Get it together.
