9.99 for two days is expensive and should be solid, clear and functional for that kind of money. It did not work for me. Fortunately I did a photo safari with an in the ground professional that allowed me a chance to see the Aurora. NorthernLightsAlert was behind curve in terms of timely alerting per app time stamp. Additionally I never got an actual alert. Had I not gone out and been sleeping or otherwise busy I would have missed the one chance to see the lights on my trip. I do not suggest NorthernLightsAlert.
No info comes with alert - useless... can’t tell what location and what direction the sighting was
A lot of the trackers we downloaded said low chance of seeing the Aurora but the camera feature and alert feature of NorthernLightsAlert really helped us to see the aurora in Rovianemi and it was accurate, this and the Aurora Reach App are great if u want to find the lights on your own! well worth it!
I noticed NorthernLightsAlert did not have a high review and 2 not great reviews so was hesitant to download and pay the 2 day fee.. however I wanted to give myself every possible chance to see the Northern Lights and this is the ONLY app that notified me in real time about the sightings. I saw the lights two nights in a row thanks to NorthernLightsAlert!!
