Follow these steps to resolve intermittent HemsWX app issues:

Force Stop the HemsWX App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click HemsWX app. » click "Force Stop".

Update HemsWX to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear HemsWX App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "HemsWX app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch HemsWX.

Fix HemsWX unable to contact server/ HemsWX internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click HemsWX » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got HemsWX » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch HemsWX on android.

About this app

The weather camera system this app has been developed and financed by the Norwegian Air Ambulance Foundation, in close collaboration with Norsk Luftambulanse AS, and gives pilots access to their own weather cameras, webcams, weather forecasts from met. no and local pressure / temperature measurements for planning assignments. HemsWX can, in this version, be used by partners such as helicopter operators, the Armed Forces, the emergency services and the Meteorological Institute. Other individuals who believe they need access to this app can apply for access to SNLA. Employees at these must contact their own management for login info. HemsWX is used at your own risk and by agreement with the developer.
