Good food, Terrible reward system.

Through the whole time me and my husband dated up until the first two years of our marriage we came here for our dates like every other week and we’ve just now gotten our reward because the system is so sketchy, and their points expire in no time apparently. After all that wait the reward is so disappointing you have to choose between one specific dessert of two appetizers and if you don’t like any of those 3 options (like us) it’s useless. They won’t even let you swap it out for something of equal value. At Outback Steakhouse they give you 50 % off (max of $20) every 4th visit. Now they appreciate their customers lol. Please do something better for us

Red lobster is our favorite.

We have done a lot of take out in the last year. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is how we ordered. We have been frustrated though with trouble getting our points. Out of about 12 trips only 3 of them scanned. If I took the time to send a message with the info I would get my points but at least 5 times I forgot or lost my receipt with the info so I lost out on those points and rewards!!
Last night, was our first time eating in for a long time. Our server Kiera was awesome and the food was great!

Great Tuesday

Ordered the meal online, person who the call was very helpful and assured the food would be ready at 5:00. Upon checking I saw I had a reward available, which I showed to Fletcher at our Red Lobster, he immediately went back and made sure the shrimp were included with the order. While completing the payment with Gift Cards, the food was brought out. Everyone was so friendly & helpful, especially Fletcher. He is one Great Representative for Red Lobster.

We’re frequently at Red Lobster. we love seafood we just don’t cook it that often at home. the only issue that we’ve had that isn’t good 2 times now I’ve ordered the special lobster and steak and both times at two different locations the steak was well done and I asked for a medium steak there was no pink at all. otherwise the seafood is always fantastic, the kids meals are good and they love the strawberry smoothie too!

My husband a s I have been going to Red Lobster since the 1980’s when we got married. We do enjoy the great seafood choices and specials. Our kids are grown and we now take the grandkids there! It’s also the “birthday place” for them to go to. Thank you for great food, service and special seasonal options. Love the all you can eat shrimp the most. However, lobster is my personal favorite! ❤️

Survey about app

I completed a very long and detailed survey about RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp to receive a reward. The reward was received and expired within a month. I went to the restaurant a few days after expiration (unbeknownst to me that it had expired) to use it and realized it was gone from RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp . When I reached out to customer service to ask for the reward back, or something equivalent, they advised the rewards expire in 90 days. Mine expired in 30.

This was one of the points I made in the survey! Give the customer more time to use their earned reward! Customer service came back with a copy/paste response and did not address my request for the points back. Poor service.

Basically a shortcut to your web browser.

Terrible app if you call it an app. It’s basically a shortcut to use your web browser. And I don’t use a standard web browser so I get all the way to pay now and it doesn’t work. Make a dedicated app that you don’t have to login every time like everybody else. Do it like the McDonald’s app where the darn thing knows you and you can order from it anytime you’re ready. I’ve spent two hours to get something done here and I had to call Lynn it’s just very frustrating.

The rewards are great to have the only problem I see with it is that once you have earned rewards they should not expire after all you earned them by being a customer to begin with so why would you want to take them away from us

Absolutely poorly designed for people using voice over and who cannot see.

RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp is definitely getting one star in the store, because things don’t do what they’re supposed to do when you use voice over. For example, when you go to the Rewards tab, if you’re using voice over, you cannot review what you rewards are and what you can choose with them. This is absolutely unacceptable, and is shutting a market out that relies on screen reading technology daily to use their phones. Until this problem gets fixed, I will be writing this one star and leaving that.

Doesn’t work

No one will help to fix. Local restaurant tried to help with no success was able to reach someone but they never got back to me. Red lobster shut down customer service line. Like so many company's they don't care about customer service.

Update, Red lobster sent a response to this review. Clearly they didn't even bother read this review because they told me to contact their customer service. If they had read the review, They would have read that the customer service line is non operational. So I tried the restaurant and the manager talked to someone at corporate who was suppose to call me back but never did.

Two Stars

Honestly, Red Lobster has lost its touch. RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp does not work as intended, i received no deals as promised, and i could not find the deals section of RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp . It is my birthday and i didnt receive the birthday free desert deal, and my calamari was cold. I'm extremely disappointed at the quality of service i received today. When i went to the bathroom, i heard a terrible noise. It sounded like someone stuck their hand in the lobster tank and a few decided to clamp down. Furthermore the stall i was in ran out of toilet paper. Very discouraging. Would not recommend another visit.

Points

RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp is great! My only complaint is that the points expire before I get a chance to use them. I don’t eat out that often and when I do it’s not always going to be red lobster. Once I earn the points I never get to use them because the expire before I get a chance to go back! It would be great if they didn’t. I would be more inclined to eat there if I had the points next time I went out to eat!

Dinner was good, Waitr was Awesome 👏 but Cookers VERY SLOW!!! We kept ordering All you can eat Shrimp 🍤 but had to wait at least 20 minutes after each dish was served…. No excuse for that, bc wen she delivered each dish we reordered🥺

The Red Lobster APP is the best

I’ve used RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp and find it easy to use and user friendly. I can order to go or curbside, and when I come in to eat I’m able to review the food and service. Since the pandemic, everything has changed and some changes are not so good.

Red Lobster is great!

Since signing up for the rewards program we have enjoyed appetizers and desserts we would never have tried. The food here is consistently excellent and we usually have enough left over for another meal. Prices are the best in town.

This is one of the best food apps - and I use them all. The UI isn’t the friendliest but the menu options are complete including specials and configuration aspect is excellent; you can get it exactly as you’d order it in person. They also offer excellent perks and promotions.

One of my favorite restaurant

Have been going to this red lobster for over 20 years. Always treat as a guest. Kudos to so many of the employees: Vickie, Dennis, DB, Ms Tia to name only a few. They have always accommodated me whether I have a party of two or over 40 guest that I have brought in as I am event planner with my groups.

I wish it was the old way you could pick what dessert you wanted but you can’t no more only reason I like to pick is I can’t eat the brownie or cake I am allergic to wheat so I get the cake eat the icing and ice cream and leave the cake I wish it could be different. Bobbie Johnson

Frustrating

I hadn’t used RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp in a couple of months and it auto-updated (this is one of the reasons I’m not a fan of auto updating for apps). As soon as I launched it, it loaded and then it glitched out and closed. When I re-opened RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp I was signed out. I tried to sign back in and was met with a message that they were requiring me to change my password in an attempt to enhance the security of my account. I tried the password reset three times and never received the email (yes, I even checked my spam folders). As a result, I missed out on being able to get rewarded for a $30 lunch. Maybe you should consider handing off the rewards to a third party or at a minimum have a way to request credit for missing purchases (BJs app comes to mind where you can enter your check number and date and if it can find your check it auto gives you credit). This was just a poor experience all the way around and for what security are you protecting I have no financial information on file all I had was a reward I couldn’t use because of this technical issue and rewards I left on the table since I couldn’t sign into my account.

We keep loving red lobster no matter what!!!

My husband is a nationwide truck driver we have been to over 100 restaurant the best is in Schaumburg Illinois and the one that made me very sick was in Virginia the nastiest and dirtiest is in Gastonia nc where we stay it smells like the carpet has never been cleaned and the tables are dirty also ur elbows will stick to them I asked my husband please never ask me to go to Gastonia location again but he loves it so much after one year or more of the worst seafood ever he talked me into going back again dam!! It was 10 times worst experience I had ever had washed the dirty table off the silver wear and the food was cold and unbearably we just paid and left!look at the pictures and see for ur self we are alway going to love red lobster no matter what mrs Adams 😘

Interface needs loooooots of work...

-Navigation is all dropdowns and side arrows. It’s all efficient and clean, which is perfect for engineers and web designers. For normal humans (for example impatient wives and not tech-savvy parents. I’ll tell you about it later) however, hyper-clean mobile layout isn’t always the clearest to read/interact with.

-The menu sub-menu contains a few inescapable rabbit holes that force you to abandon online ordering altogether should you foolishly opt to enter them. In my experience, entering options for a baked potato meant stopping the entire online ordering process, which is why I bothered to download it at all.

-Like many developers, the crew that made this phone and tablet compatible app left it locked to vertical, no rotation possible. Annoying for those of us who use our iPads with Smart Keyboard covers, or simply don’t always use portrait mode 24/7.

The development team that made this restaurant app for regular consumers should maybe leave their offices, go to an actual restaurant, and meet a real human or two. It might help.

The best clams I’ve ever eat

Went to Red Lobster in Jackson, Michigan...
The best clams I’ve ever eat. The rest of the food was excellent too. All credit to the cooks! Service was out of this world, also.
I spill my clams on the floor. I was going to clean it up, but Our waiter went right down on her knees, and even gave me a beautiful smile telling me not to worry. Keep up the good job.
We’ll be coming back to this location anytime we can.

May not be worth it

I like the rewards program but it should allow me to bank points and use the rewards when I’m ready to use them. As is now, once I earn 125 points, it automatically issues a reward with an expiration date. I don’t go a lot so I may not use it by the expiration so it may expire. Why use a rewards app if I can’t use the reward when I want to. Either make the rewards without expirations or let the points bank up and let me choose when I want to use them. Learn from TGI Fridays. They have an amazing rewards program!!

Pretty Much Worthless

Still can't order with it. Still can't use it for call ahead seating. I bumped it to two stars because I can now get to the menu. RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp looks like it is pretty much a view into a responsive web site. I like the scan feature to track rewards. I think there is still room for improvement. Benchmark the competition. Make it more like an app and not a web page. Allow me to place myself in the queue for seating so I don’t have to wait as long in the restaurant on a busy night. It’s getting better.

App doesn’t send email in a timely matter

I’m very frustrated with RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp after the update. I go thru the process and try to reset my email. All RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp does is say that an email will be sent to me to reset. This was yesterday around noon time and no email ever came. When I checked this morning an email came but it was in the middle of the night and of course the link was expired. So, I tried again this morning and it happened again with the email coming later. I have a couple awards expiring soon and I was hoping to use them.

Excellent app and easy to use!

Downloaded RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp for the first time today. Signing up for the rewards was a breeze. Scanning my receipt was super easy, and I already earned a reward! The developers did an excellent job on RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp! I love that little video of the biscuit being crumbled after I signed up haha - keep up the great work Red Lob!

App not working and then it works

Keeps telling my email is incorrect which is laughable as they send me emails just about everyday in connection with RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp . . app is now working again after abut a week of not working, have no idea why. Good when it does work.

They took points away!

We had plans to eat at Red Lobster last night, so I downloaded RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp . I was given 75 points for signing up. I scanned our receipt from last night. We spent $48. The claim is $1=1 point. I open RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp to see if they added the points to find I now only have 26 points. They REMOVED the 75 points that we DID NOT use & only gave me a little more than half of the points we were supposed to receive by scanning our receipt. I hope it’s just a glitch/honest mistake.

I agree with several others about the fact you can lose your rewards because they expire. Let them add up and go towards a more expensive dish. But definitely make the expropriation longer. The average customer dines at red lobster on special occasions keep that in mind.

Worst app ever

I can never log in. It keeps saying the password is incorrect. I try to reset the password and it keeps telling me “unable to reset password.” I have lost multiple points because I can never get this stupid app working. Makes me want to not go to Red Lobster because of the frustration of their app. Yet they can email me continuously about how I haven’t been to red lobster and earned points. Hello? It’s because your app doesn’t work so I can’t put my points in.

Expiration dates are BS

We eat at Red Lobster a few times per year. The closest restaurant is 25 miles from us and rather expensive for a family of four. When we go it’s usually a treat or celebrating something. I had accursed two rewards in January and planned on using them today only to find out they had expiration dates so we didn’t go but instead went somewhere else.

RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp is fine unless you don’t notice the expiration dates for rewards.

Completely Broken with the last update.

RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp auto-updated and required me to relogin, and not only did my password reset not work, but now it states my email doesn't exist when requesting "forgot password". When attempting to re-sign up, it states "user already exists" even with a different email. You idiots just lost me as a customer forever, thank goodness I checked RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp before placing an order today. Learn2code, dummies.

Needs work

I tried to use RedLobsterDiningRewardsApp to gain points and it told me to update before i could scan. I updated and it told me to update again. By the time i had yodated the scan square had disappeared from the electronic credit card reader so the waiter had to get me a paper receipt which i scanned and received zero points. I showed this to the waiter who did not know what to do about it. A lot of trouble for no points.
