TotalAV Status

App not opening. Getting message "oh no, something is not right. Total AV is having trouble launchi"

I have TotalAv and it shows Adblock is installed and as of yesterday it worked. Today it doesn't.

VPN doesn't work. Error has something to do with metadata already being optimized.

I've been encountering an issue every time I start up my Mac. I keep getting a message that says, "TotalAV is trying to install a new helper tool." Even though I've already entered my password, the message keeps popping up on every startup. When I ignore it, I get another message that says, "TotalAV requires a helper tool to function correctly. Please click below to activate the system prompt and install the helper tool." Can you please help me figure out how to stop these messages from appearing?

Why does my TotalAV VPN keep disconnecting every few minutes?

total av will not update. When I check for updates is says I am running the latest version of 2020. This is 20223 not 2020

Total AV has been doing a full system scan for over 2 days. I do have an external Hard Drive connected but it has been there for other scans that always finished in a few hours. The circle showing progress got very close to being finished but just keeps spinning. But it shows 0 for number of files and folders scanned. I don't know how to stop it.

Computer freezes and does not respond to reboot. States in safe mode that the Total AV is corrupted and is not able to clean up malware or restore to original setup dates on system restore.

I got a message when I went to do a scan that said it was unable to upload update. It was frozen on this page. I Uninstaller and cannot get app installed. I have a paid account.

Fails to update security scan

When hitting my Security Scan button to scan the file on my CELL PHONE, it stops immediatly at "Failed to Update! Please help! Thanks, David Nyikes Sending over Diagnostics as well.

My antivirus says failed to update, when I try to do a scan. Can you help please.?

Hi Sent my husband an email invitation to his iphone. He entered name, email, and new password and seemed to be downloading app. However when he tried to access it was told 'purchase error, no active subscription found'. Help. Thanks Maggie

Total Av has to be manually open at every start up.

I can not open the AV icon on my desktop the message i get is "The item referred to by this short cut cannot be accessed. You may not have the appropriate permissions."

My system (win 11) suddenly became unstable: taskbar vanishes, desktop icons are not working, and more importantly TotalAV scans of entire drives complete in a few seconds, reporting nothing found. Any ideas "

Why does webshield turn off when the iPhone or Mac is idle? When you return, you must start webshield again.

Keeps disconnecting for no reason. If this keeps happening, I’ll want a refund. No happy with this App at all.

Every time I turn on my computer I get message on Mac (iOS Ventura 13.4) that TotalAV is trying to install a new helper tool. Password for computer is required. I enter the password and it still shows up every time I turn on my computer. I tried to uncheck the advanced adblocker in Safari and now (even after re-checking it) I get "Initialization error, could not start Real-Time Protection. Please try again. Error: The operation couldn't be completed. (AVClientLib.ServiceClient.AVServiceClientConnectError error0.)" Please help.

Hi, I have been using Total Av/Adblock for some time now. Great product. However for the past few days I am getting a lot of ads on Youtube. I have looked at the suggestion, but most of the suggestions seem to have Total AV features and "buttons" that don't seem to be on my computer. Can you help me please? Regards Gary

having personal problem need to cancel

I renewed my subscription this morning 05/10/2023. Please send me a copy of my payment of $19.00 charged on my VISA. I can't tell if this subscription is working or activated.

I tried to install TotalAV through the App Store on my Android tablet. Samsung S3. It installed fine, but failed scanning when it tried to update. The update failed. I tried uninstall reinstall. I tried clearing cache and data in the Play store and TotalAV app. Nothing has worked. I am a TotalAV customer with no problems on my apple devices, but this android device is having trouble.

I try to connect to VPN, get a message that there is a problem with my VPN credentials. I have it on my Amazon Fire Tablet. What do I have to do to get by this error. I have tried multiple times uninstalling and reinstalling TotalAV, same problem.

On 3/6/ I renewed my license for Total AV. I made my payment through PayPal. Since that time I have been receiving very annoying pop ups saying my total webshield subscription has expired. These pop ups happen all the time. Sometimes taking up half my screen. Can you tell me how to stop these pop ups or from your end, make sure they Stop! Michael

i purchased new laptop. I have 3 devices using total av. Somehow, I can not use on my new laptop. I can download, but pc said not the app from Microsoft. So, I can not complete installation

Kill Switch stopped working. With the Kill Switch on and not connected VPM I can still access the Internet with any browser.

Total Av decided to update itself but has got stuck at "Completing setup 0% Please wait". Now what do I do?

One Or More Errors Occurred (Connect Timed Out). Please Reboot Your Device And Try Again'. I tried rebooting and nothing has changed. I am running Windows 10 and can never tell if TotalAV is even providing protection." Please let me know what I should do to fix this problem.

Can't open VPN

Since I had paid and installed TotalAV on my Windows10, I had so many problems: Startup windows was so slow and many times failed; Protection disabled. An error occured while trying to enable the realtime scanner. One or more errors occured; System freezed ; Failed to update extensions selection. One or more errors occured; Connect time out. After I uninstalled TotalAV everything seem to run normally again. Sorry, I have to say that I am very very sick of this program.

I was contacted online that I needed a new system reload , I paid but they started a new account,#60295444 that is different from my normal acount #5106161, I keep getting popup adds saying i need to upgrade my account detains when I do it resets the question I need to update details. I paid $19 for the new system reload, I am afraid i have 2 accounts. Help

Since I installed TotalAV a couple of days ago, I have had so many problems on my Mac desktop. Web pages begin scrolling once opened (on their own), another virus program alerted to a Trojan AFTER TotalAV indicated there were not any! While on a website, a new tab quickly opens that was not selected. Please help!!

I purchased Total AV - Antivirus PRO and Total AV - Unlimited Devices, the other day. I downloaded software to my laptop and to my Android cell phone. The laptop installation seems to work ok but when I try to activate the software on my cell phone, it comes with a message saying "THIS DEVICE IS NOT LICENSED - You have used all your device licences, upgrade and add a license now to protect this device." Yet I bought the UNLIMITED devices pkg. I then uninstalled the software and tried to re-install it and now it shows in "My account" that I've used all my allowable downloads. So much for the word "Unlimited devices". Anyone have a solution? Hugh

I cancelled my Avira account because VPN never worked unless I ran install then clicked repair. Then that method wouldnt work. So I buy TOTALAV w/VPN for multiple devices. Installed on all my P.C.'s but this one and cant connect to internet on ANY of them. Also discovered TOTALAV uses the AVIRA VPN software that gave me trouble to start with. UnInstalling TotalAV and rebooting does NOT restore my PC's configurations or make online connections work as they did before. I am so not happy with all this crap. Fortunately, I ran out of time before getting TotalAV installed on this pc or I'd have no connections at all. Seems all the free stuff works fine with this kinda thing but you commit to pay service and it turns to sh_t. My opinion.

Total AV freezes when seraching duplicte files. Did not do this before the recent update.

VPN keeps quitting. I have to manually turn it on, but it quits after about an hour. I've tried all the states on the east coast, even tried Canada and Britain, but it keeps doing the same thing. I have attempted to download totalAV on my kindle Fire 10. When I type in my email Address then press the enter key. Then I receive a notice above my email address. There is problems with your username or password. Please try again. So I have tried again. Went to a new site twice. Still get same information.

Total AV . It is NEVER ON when I power up my laptop. I think I'm going to try something else. I've never had this issue with other similar programs.

total av ii has my phone where i cant operate it. it got voice activated and i have been trying to disconnect it but i cant and i have an emergency. my number is 3187949724

TOTALAV VPN not safe to use. TOTALAV provide security software phone and computers on a subscription (paid for) basis, and a basic offering for free. I bought the subscription service because I wanted a VPN (Virtual private network) to keep my computer safe. Whilst using the VPN I had some problems and the support team used a remote log on to my computer to try to fix it, however they screwed it up and left me unable to get ANY internet connection to anything. They refused to believe that it could be their fault and REFUSED to talk with me about the problem. I had to try to resolve it by and chat sessions using a different computer. Even then they told me that they needed to remote connect to my computer, which of course was impossible. They said this 3 times before telling me to get a local IT expert to "fix it", which I did. IT cost me £130 for the fix, and the expert gave me written evidence that TOTALAV WAS to blame. Needless to say, TOTALAV have ignored all my complaints, and just reply with messages from either total idiots or uncaring staff. Do NOT use this software. The customer relations team are just ROBOTS.

I have just had another e-mail saying there is other things covered by totalav. I just want to know if totalav is working on my computer, please tell me quick. Thanks.
