I responded to an email from TotalAv about what I thought was an upgrade. It appears I may have actually established a second account. Just need clarification

Don't fall for it. It smells like a front. I hope the software did anything but good luck finding support as I just went in and canceled my account and then called my mother and asked her to send me 10 bucks so I could eat today. Got in my account. Was getting ready to leave the house and I get a notice that total AV head still auto renewed and I have the email. Please dating that I had disabled auto and no from them and after a hassle I managed to get to a chat with them livechat.totalav.com The last for a number and then when you don't have it, it'll send you back to the help articles that you can't get anywhere from. I don't remember how I got the number but I found a link somewhere after searching bing for total AV support but can't figure out how. I got there now to get back in and they've kindly informed me that my money ought to arrive in the next 48 hours but could take up to 7 days. They have no phone number to call. If you find the phone numbers that are listed online from just a couple months ago, they don't go anywhere. If you dig far enough on the site, you can find the identity protection team contact number for total AV. I tried that call but it's 9:30 at night so of course nobody's in there to take care of this despite they're being things in there to pick the money out of my account unauthorized. This company is not what I thought it was. I was under the wrong impression as I seen the name and thought it was familiar and trusted them without doing what I typically would. And I guess I won't eat today or tomorrow because of it.

Total Av is being less than honest with me.. I ordered a new subscription advertised for 19.00C on October 30, 2023. I found out that I was unable to download and install this program as my laptop is running an old version of Windows. The support tech confirmed this on October 30 and said that he was crediting back to me all credit card charges for which he identified two separate charges of 39.00. Told me I would see this refund in 5-6 business days. As it turned out I never received a refund and was charged 19.00 plus three charges of 39.00 for a total of 136.00. I have e-mailed them and find that they are reluctant to return any funds. I feel that they should live up to their money back guarantee and take care of this.

Like many others, I signed up for a 30-day "free trial" on 24 June 2023. On 13 July 2023, I gave Total AV notice (via their Chat facility) that I wished to cancel my (trial) subscription and obtain a refund exactly as set out in their Terms and Conditions Paragraph 13.4.1. I also sent a letter addressed to their Chief Executive Officer confirming the content of my Chat. This has neither been answered, acknowledged nor actioned. As of today, no monies have been refunded to my Credit Card Account. More worryingly, the Credt Card Company state that they cannot intervene because I "cancelled my subscription after the transaction had been posted to my Credit Card Account". I would like to know how you anyone can cancel a subscription BEFORE they have paid it!

couple months ago i cancelled Total.. believe was premium... because my computer needed fixing and i wouldnt be on for while i let u know... well total had my bank account charged 2.99 for july 4 and july 20 i been doing this asking use i get in touch with use.. You have charged my credit card US$119 yesterday. I don't want your subscription anymore. I thought I signed up for a year's protection last year but I wonder if I had the protection for the past year. I have tried reviewing things on my so called account but nothing comes up under my email address. I have tried resetting my password but that never worked. Please if you can find me, delete my account and my take off the credit card details you have for me.. I'd appreciate advice back as it seems there is no way to speak a person at your Company.

I unsubscribed to you last year after speaking to someone on the phone because Totalav took $99 out of my bank account in October 2022, Totalav also took out $199 in July of 2022. Been with Total AV for 3 years and was surprisingly charged £118 directly taken from account. It did not seem to be the way to do business but was successful with a £80 refund, we then negotiated next years renewal at £40. This years quote was £149 so I decided to leave and cancel the auto payment system of renewal prior to term end date. They immediately made offers of £77 and finaly £35 which I decided to think about. I then got this from them 'By turning back on continuous protection your premium plan will be due to renew on April 2023 At £149 unless cancelled. No Brainer have blocked credit card To TotalAV .

I got this anti-virus program because it was supposed to be rated so highly but, is seems to uninstall every day and I have to reinstall. I need help in working this out but how do you get to talk to someone who can walk you through the issues? Any phone number? After reading reviews I'm afraid I made a big mistake believing what Total Av can do.

I have not used Total AV on my computer for many months now and decided to use another company who did it a lot cheaper, and so when the time came for renewal I decided not to renew with Total AV,.but did not realise I had signed up for continuation of services. Three days from when £119.00 was taken from my account, I took action and cancelled asking for my money back and that was on 6th January 2023 and received conformation by email. It is now 21st January 2023 and still have not received a refund from Total AV. Be aware when you sign up with any company!

You billed my credit card without my authorization and I asked that you refund my credit card for 119.00 You did not ask or tell me this was a automatic charge. If you do not respond then my bank will try . Hi, I’ve just been charged £118.80 for a subscription which I have not requested. I had an account under the email simon.prentice@redacted, this has been shut down over the past year, so have not received any information regarding me being charged for this year. Another issue is my email account of that address has also been discontinued, so I can’t access emails from that account, hence my new email address provided. As a result I cannot access the email account, but have got previous emails to prove I have cancelled my subscription LAST YEAR! I would like a full refund asap please as I do not want the service.
