This sounds really cool! But I haven’t used it yet..and I probably never will. You need to pay for a subscription which is totally fine I’m sure it’s worth it but I personally can’t pay so bye-bye Tunefox. Also please don’t get me wrong, a company should do what they need to do to pay their employees and feed themselves so please Please don’t spite them for making it subscription only I think it’s better than barely being able to do anything because you don’t have a membership. So yeah I’m not at all mad more like “oh well” anywho from what the other comments say it’s a great app so if you can are willing to you should.

This a great and helpful app. The layout is fantastic, and the ability to switch song segments to pentatonic scales, chromatic, etc. is an unexpected boon. The Lessons are great, but regrettably limited, and don’t take you very far. There are a few things that could be added, for sure, such as expanding the song library to include more than folk/bluegrass music (though I understand that’s the primary genre for the target instruments, mandolin can easily transition to more classical melodies). It would also be nice to switch from numeric tablature to a standard d musical notation (staves and noteheads).
All things considered, if you’re learning your instrument for bluegrass or folk, this is the perfect app. And even if you’re not interested in that genre, the mechanics and techniques learned can generally carry over to any other.

I think this app is GREAT for early learners. The ONLY thing is that you only get like 4-5 songs if you don’t pay like $19 a month, which is insane for a simple banjo app.
Like I said, besides that^ the app is great! I would actually strongly recommend.
