Key Benefits of Jambl

- Would drastically expand possible sounds if was able to use all different drum pads on any given template.

- Record mode where we could play the loop for a given time and add effects and remove loops at certain parts would add depth and another level of creativity to come from this app.

- Improvement on that beat making side like sound packs some free and some comedy additional charge.

- Ability to adjust the melody and use different voice effects in the voice recording stage.

- Longer time to record your voice.

Best one out there, but yet to be the best ever.

Would drastically expand possible sounds if was able to use all different drum pads on any given template. For instance: only able to pair HIpHop94 with two different drum pads like Homework and Detroit limits sound possibilities. Also, if there was a record mode where we could play the loop for a given time and add effects and remove loops at certain parts would add depth and another level of creativity to come from Jambl. Not to mention that same record function could be used to actually save well made beats that could maybe someday be used on an actual track that gets published. There’s a lot of potential in Jambl, and paired with the right ideas it could change the way we make music forever.

Honestly a fun app!

It’s a really simple way to make beats if you don’t want to actually be serious about it. It’s super fun remixing peoples beats and making them your own! Yes there is a subscription service but there also a free version (that I use no problem) that just has ads. There is a delay with wireless headphones but with wired and no headphones, it works fine. You can also share beats and remix others. I’m only giving it 4 stars because not a lot of new sounds are added so it can get old. Also the social feature feels bland at times. There is really explanation to how the featured beats work? Like I’ve had one get on the main page with over 1600 plays but I don’t know how or why. There is also no way to comment on beats or see who even likes them. Also you can’t see if anyone follows you or not. If they added these features, I could really see Jambl becoming more popular because of how easy it is to use. The social aspect is a great idea but just needs some more work

It surprised me!

Really easy to make a quick beat in whichever genre. You can even mix genre’s together. To make unique blends of.. well.. Genre’s!.. There is no instruments to choose. Just lightweight, genre specific, sounds. That you can… lol, I just realized, you can SCRAMBLE around to make different JAMS to!! JAMBLE!Anyways, the sounds are quality and there is enough to make a good amount of tracks.
DEV’s:I would like to maybe see the DJ part get re-worked. That is the only area that is almost out of place. The options you can use might be good to use on individual instances or instruments but not the entire track. Plus two of them don’t sound all that great anyways. You can definitely improve that and than it would be solid for what it’s meant for!! Anyways thank you for creating this. I enjoy it. It’s great for an idea when I’m stuck in my DAW.

Almost perfect

First off this is not a DAW aka GarageBand. It a more of a live performance type of app like drum pads 24 that you fool around on. I gives you an Idea on how beats work so you can then go and make your own in GarageBand. If you want to continue you beat in an app like GarageBand or FL Studio you could screen record without mic and get the audio. If you just screen record the individual Here are some things that I would like to see. I would like there to have more slots for instruments. You could pick sounds from different kits. I also want manual control over the drums for the more experienced players. some times I like to do fast double kicks, snars and triple Hihat rolls you just can’t do that with Jambl. If you try it just makes your beat bad. Thanks for reading my review have a blessed day or night.

Subscription to create music? (Limited functionality)

I would not say this is a great app. $8 a week to make music on a app that doesn’t even compete with garage band? Sounds ridicules! It’s not money that’s really the problem here. It’s the principle of having people pay money to even get an experience. What’s even funnier is that the experience is very limited. I’d rather buy garage band ( Which I have ) & have much more Intuitive experience with that! Especially since you can record nice crisp external audio & somewhat master it. Not to mention you can always finish the product on your Mac Laptop.. this is a weird way of trying to get people to make music or even get into it. It’s preying on new musicians and can’t even offer a better wide range of sounds or actual song development. It’s like buying a toy piano when just for some extra bucks you can buy yourself a real piano and actually have great sound with a greater experience. Don’t sell yourself short with Jambl. Theirs is even better ones for free 🤦🏽‍♂️

Amazing app, great potential

After making my first beat I was instantly hooked. There’s plenty of sound packs to make unique songs and beats. Only thing is the ads.. The ads to unlock sound packs make sense. However when I’m trying to remix my beat, there’s an ad before I’m done and an ad after I’m done. It’s actually so excessive that Jambl won’t actually save my changes. It’ll show up in the collab section then instantly disappear when I exit and re enter. Then if I delete the collab, it’ll delete my song altogether. This can be extremely frustrating when I’ve spent hours on a beat then all of a sudden *poof* gone. The editing for the beats needs to be reworked so my song changes actually save. Once this is fixed, easy 5 star. Great app over all

It is good but I could use some upgrades

First there should be a improvement on that beat making side like sound packs some free and some comedy additional charge and also I think you should be able to adjust the melody and use different voice effects in the voice recording stage in there should be a longer time to record your voice also still be able to make your beats and good beats submissions could be featured on the homepage on the application and I think there should also be base adjustment from better audio quality with the bass and a tuner for the Bluetooth delay

A little disappointed

This is a good app, but after playing around with it for a little bit, not everything repeated itself when I held my finger over the rightmost column of the drum rack. And when I close Jambl out, for at least 15 seconds the loop that I had composed kept on playing despite being closed out. Also, the ENTIRE video function didn’t work whatsoever on my phone. I don’t know what that was about but it just wouldn’t loadBut all in all I think that Jambl rises above the rest of the simple beat making apps. And just something I’d like to see in a future update is a dubstep sample pack. And maybe a way to compose real songs and not just loops? Anyway, I hope you take my suggestions into consideration and fix the issues that I mentioned above, because this is an app that has potential! Thank you for listening.

So much potential

It’s fantastic with a great variety, but I got 5 things that annoy be with using Jambl.
1. You can’t look at the beats you liked. I feel like that should’ve been a thing from the get go.
2. I have to close out of Jambl with it still running in the background for it to load a page or just my own songs.
3. I wish they added different beats more often. Yes there is a bunch of different styles you can choose from, but if you use Jambl a lot, the options feel more limited.
4. When you remix someone else’s beat, there isn’t a way to get the remix if you close Jambl . Another thing I would’ve liked to see at launch.
5. This one might be the cherry on the top, but there isn’t a erase feature. Yeah there’s an undo, but if you’re feeling something one moment and create a sick beat just after it but it doesn’t fit the first one, you gotta either get rid of it in a very roundabout way, or you gotta undo the new beat to get rid of the old one.
That being said, this is one of my favorite apps to create beats with. But some of these problems really make it hard to look past

My thoughts on Jambi

Me personally think this is an amazing app the music packs or amazing and I just love the art design. If I was to be one of the characters I would make it so somebody could make theIr own packs and art design but obviously you would have to put some safety features so no one takes advantage of this power. I would all so like if their were more features so that their is more than the 4. Over all this is in amazing app and would recommended. I am a little new to Jambl so if anything I said was wrong or u already did what I suggested I am sorry.

Shockingly good👏👏

So I needed to make beats for my music because I’m a rapper (P.Envy09YT) and it was really hard to get music from my keyboard. So when I saw this ad on Voloco, it had me intrigued. It was a solid ad for what seemed like a solid app. So then I tried it and I was shocked!!! I know you have to pay to get a few of the beats, but if you really wanted them you just watch a video! This is probably the best beat app out there. And if you respond developer, don’t try to sound professional and all that. I friggin hate it when they do that.

By

Good but please take this annoying thing away

this app is a really good app but not as good as I expect it to be. First off I know the subscription is for the ads and if you get it you won’t have any ads, BUT even if you don’t get the subscription it doesn’t mean you have to spam ads so much. When I want to unlock a pack I know I have to watch an ad so I watch it and when it is done loading another 20 second add pops up. It’s like everything I press I have to watch an ad. Last thing is when ever I make music sometimes the button delays like it generates the note to early or to late. Please fix these to major things it will improve Jambl greatly.

Fun, Simple, Easy

Jambl is a really good way to get into making beats and getting into music. I’ve been doing music stuff for over 4 years and when I saw Jambl on Instagram I thought it was gonna be a pile of crap but it’s really cool. There’s many styles and genres that I’m pretty sure anyone can enjoy. Jambl is amazing and if you’re trying to get into music or just like making beats, this is Jambl for you. One critique that I’d like to have in Jambl , though, is an option to search for different artists. That would make Jambl better than it already is.

By

This app is great, but we need more access to the other jam packs

Don’t get me wrong. Jambl: AMAZING. The only downside is the lack of access to the people who don’t want to spend money. From my personal experience with the free packs (cheeky plug here: check me out on Mudfishh) and the comparison with the other basses and melodies, Jambl is a non-competitive pay-to-win. The jam packs you’d get from premium are WAY better than the free ones. Also, a lot of the featured beats have been made by people who bought the premium. If the devs would give the non-spenders a little bit more access, it would be a 5 star. Perfect for simple beats, and complex ones, perfect for beats all around. But not enough access

Very great app, just one problem

Hi Jambi Fam. I love Jambl, one of my favorites by far. But I have one problem. For some odd reason my recorded songs randomly changes key from what the song actually sounds like. Out of nowhere. This is the second time this happened. I fixed this issue a little while back but I forgot how I did it. I want all my recorded songs to keep/remain its original sound, and key. Hopefully I’m making sense. I’m bad at explaining things lol. Thanks guys :)

Easy to make a beat, limitations make it old quick though

As others have said, lots of potential and it's possible for the average Joe to make cool sounding beats. A downfall to this is the inability to make anything too complex. The melodies and chords all sound about the same, and the drums are very limited. I realize this isn't ableton, but Jambl will need to get at least a few more advanced features (I.e. More than 4 tracks, ability to import own samples, etc) for anyone to get continued enjoyment for more than a week or 2. Definitely unique though and this is the easiest music app I've seen by far.

By

Overpriced.

It costs $15/month to play World of Warcraft, a game that has intense depth and satisfaction for the people that use it. this app - not so much. It costs $8/week ($24+/month - $9 more than WoW) to use Jambl to create nonsensical music. It’s even more surprising that Jambl would even have the audacity to charge this amount to customers when there is absolutely no way to organize the different music arrangements you make within Jambl into a song. This is an absolute cash grab and you are being manipulated if you have been duped into using it. It is without a doubt underdeveloped and its creators definitely released it prematurely and are unworthy of your money. Respect yourself and your dignity and look elsewhere.

Awesome Beat Creator App

It’s a pretty unique song/beat creator app. It’s easy to use for people who aren’t too well tapped into the whole music production scene and it has good tutorial play throughs that give a good example on how to make beats from different genres from trap, edm, and more. Jambl features tons of sounds that can be intertwined extremely well. With a bit more features, bug fixes, and updates, Jambl can actually be a 5-star or more. All in all, a great app for all levels of music lovers.

Much love from Not_Ur_Average_Musician!!!

By

Hey, it’s pretty good

Yeah it delivers exactly what it advertises. Also, when you open Jambl it tells you about a paid subscription which is pretty annoying, but if you look a little closer on the top left corner you can spot an X blending in with the other symbols; gotta hand it to the developers or graphics designers it’s pretty clever (but still pretty shady too). And then you can just enjoy Jambl , just with ads but it’s not really that bad

By

Trash

Jambl is probably one of the lower tier basic beat creating apps to put it in terms. The sounds are dry. No matter the combination. The bass frequency isn’t consistent. You’ll hear it and then it fades away, you’ll have to restart Jambl to fix it just for it to do it again. So much lag too. The response time on each note has some mad delay. Tried it on my buddies iPhone 11 it was laggy on his as well. Cool concept, I can see it being enjoyable for someone with no real beat production experience or a good past time while sitting on the John. My recommendation if you want a basic beat maker game/app for IOS, use GarageBand.

Amazing great job

I have been looking for an easy beatmaker for about a year and im happy i found this its easy its good and its great at making beats, but there definitely isnt enough music packs i love westcoast dont get me wrong but if we could get more rap freestyle type beats going id be willing to pay full month long love Jambl developers keep up the work i saw one of your instagram ads i thought id check it out and im extremely satisfied -Alex

Closing out

I started playing around with Jambl for fun, because I am a musician and thought this would be interesting. Although it is interesting, there isn’t enough for people who don’t wanna spend on Jambl. Even at that, there aren’t many presets in all. Along with that, I have lately been experiencing Jambl closing out every time I try and play it. It’ll open just fine, and I’m able to click on a preset and start playing. As soon as I start playing it’ll close out after making a weird blip on my phone. This is not how it should react after I play it how it’s meant to be played.

By

Slowly getting there

Its definitely fun and the sounds are great but its hard not to compare with other music sequencer apps with great ease-of-use and a premium purchase or pay-per-pack model. There’s also a couple of strange choices like Ableton Link but no background audio and unskippable tutorials. I get having one, but when opening it a separate time to play with my saved file some more, another one shows up. I really like the potential for this little groovebox app and i look forward to the devs continue to integrate it into the ios music landscape.

THIS IS THE APP FOR YOU

I was expecting the Ad on instagram to be a little over exaggerating, but when I got Jambl . WOW. I was surprised on how easy and simple it was to create such complex beats.

A really amazing job on the developers part. Jambl is not only great for people who are striving to become music producers. But it is also a fun way to pass the time and enjoy beats that you can make yourself.

Amazing App. 10/10

Yup

i think it’s fun but has ALOT of potential
1)i think if they add a feature so you can save the beats in Jambl and listen to them later that would be awesome
2) maybe some sort of global system so you can interact with other people and listen to there beats
3) less money i understand everyone needs profit for apps but some of these are just.....no
4) more beats...you can only have sooo much fun till everything sounds the same
5) lastly i think some way to make it so the drums or chords aren't so loud maybe have a function where you can adjust the volume to some of them...some beats sound awesome but overwhelm each other too much

honestly that all sounds a little to harsh but overall i love Jambl and will continue to use it just small things that could bring in more people to use it

Is this allowed?

I have never seen such a good, free game, like this before. I’ve always kind of messed around with apps like these but, they all kind of end up the same sounding OK at most. But here you just throw some stuff together and it’s almost like your an artist. Honestly this might be one of the best games I’ve ever downloaded for free. And that says a lot since all my games are free.

By

Advanced Setting (Pro+)

this app on its own is a very cool and innovative app. The Pro setting is cool and all but what if there was a deeper part to pro? An advanced pro would mess around with the beat loops, making the longer or shorter if wanted. It would also give the option to cycle through beats(Beat 1 would go, then Beat 2, Beat 3 or back to beat 1). Just a thought tho.

By

Yes

Easily five stars. Take Jambl not as a stand-alone song writer, but as inspiration and to give you fun tools to mess with. It’s not recording software by all means. But rather garage band turned into a game of creativity, taking live loops, and letting you make them. Holy crap Jambl is fun!!!!! It does take a good half hour to really understand the mechanics, but their pretty simple once ya get the hang of it!

By

Game is great

So I want to get into the music industry and want to become a music producer and Jambl is great for me. it trains me on how to make awesome beats to use for other rappers. Jambl isn’t like the other apps because I used to make beats on drum pad apps but on Jambl it’s so much more better and has more hype in it.

By

Love it 😊❤️

I love the sounds and how everything comes together. I feel like I can actually do something with this but there’s just one problem. I downloaded this today to try it out and I made a beat I really loved and when I tried to save it... it started to crash and I can’t get in Jambl anymore. If you can please fix this 🙏 overall though I really like this 😍.

By

We gotta problem

Nice app. Really good, and I mean it. I would rate it higher, but the game kicks you out... a lot. I really enjoy Jambl, but I wouldn’t recommend it for people who are willing to make professional songs and longer beats, because who knows when Jambl will kick you out. But to be honest, I love this game and have been looking for one like it for ages.

Just fix the problem please.
