The newest software update has taken away the initial screen that has your information of your SmartDrive. The second screen no longer says it’s connected to the SmartDrive. I wish PushTracker would give you the information the you get on the SmartDrive app for the Apple Watch such as battery life and distance. I use PushTracker to upload the settings and I use the Apple Watch to tell me battery life and distance. Switching apps is a inconvenience. I can’t wait to afford to buy the Rio Firefly and get rid of the SmartDrive.
App is pretty much useless after you’re done configuring the SmartDrive settings. It would be 5 stars if Apple Watch control was included. I don’t want the Ticwatch. I already have an Apple Watch, don’t need two smart watches, let alone an inferior one.
The this app app seems to disable the tic watch features on the watch. I will continually say it’s not connected to Bluetooth but the this app app says that it’s working fine. It’s very confusing. If we have to pay for $160 watch out of pocket, in some instances, I think it would be more beneficial if tic watch actually got to use all of its features. And I don’t understand why PushTracker isn’t compatible with Apple Watch it’s kind of ridiculous really. I never had any luck with the old this app and I’m having less issues with the Bluetooth on this one hooking up to the actual smart drive. But as I said you can’t use the watch full of features because apparently the this app app takes over everything. I’ve tried resetting it several times and it continually does the same thing.
As long as Bluetooth has been around you’d think there wouldn’t be all these issues. Even knock-off headphones pair and stay connected easier.
I’ve had the same issue as others; says it is connected but then it can’t find it, etc. However, if you hold your mouth just right and power on and off the this app watch; start and restart the iOS app; push different combinations of buttons on the watch; start and restart the entire process again: eventually it will work until next time.
How about a free upgrade to the E2.
Never did understand why the buttons on the this app watch that normally comes with this thing is so incredibly hard to press without fingernails.
Not sure what PushTracker is supposed to do in order to connect to my watch. He website for reporting the issue as well as a quality issue take me to a website that is unsafe and unsupported so my only action is to leave a bad review and hope to get some help.
My corded connection after a year of use completely fell off at the base of the connection point and I need my watch to attend a vacation in two days. The watch doesn’t even register that there’s a supported app for the watch push tracker app even after changing it in the push tracker app to appl watch with smart drive. Not sure how I’m supposed to use my device and depend on this when it isn’t possibly to get it working from the foundation step.
this was a waste of money and time, first of all I can’t even get my watch to connect to PushTracker . it always says “make sure it’s turned on and in range” when I have it literally right next to my phone. I press it over and over hoping it would connect and it always fails. second of all whenever I try to check the status on PushTracker of my watch it says that it’s unknown so I have no clue if it’s connected or not. very disappointed.
It doesn’t seem to matter if the this app watch is connected to PushTracker or not, even when it is connected the data never transfers. I wish they would just make this compatible with the Apple Watch which already knows how to track wheelchair pushes.
It’s disappointing that the problems raised by other reviewers YEARS ago haven’t been addressed at all. PushTracker remains ridiculously glitchy. It unpairs frequently, and will say it isn’t paired when it is, preventing you from changing the settings. I love my Smart Drive and the concept, but PushTracker is incredibly frustrating!
I signed up for PushTracker and I think I was even charged for one of these two apps will not link with my machine and I am stuck in the lowest speed not very happy. Also, I got a push button and I should’ve got a turn I can’t increase my speed at all. I’m not happy with the system at all.
Downloaded PushTracker onto my iPhone and now my SmartDrive device does not work at all! I thought PushTracker would make it easier to set the acceleration, maximum (or minimum) speed and the tap sensitivity. Instead, it shut down the connection between the wristband, the motor and the iPhone app. I wish I never downloaded the stupid app!
PushTracker works however it loses connection all the time and takes forever for it to connect when it does. The watch will say it’s connected to my phone when it’s not. Very frustrating.
The previous review is correct, PushTracker constantly loses pairing. I’ve found you have to delete PushTracker and download a new copy to re-pair it. Very frustrating. But when it works it’s great
I’m thoroughly disappointed in PushTracker. After signing in, all I can see is the profile page. I can’t see the journey page or any of the other pages shown on PushTracker page’s preview section.
PushTracker had potential and I was really excited about it but the only thing it does is change the speed. Which is good but I wish I could use the other features.
When are you adding the speed control dial? Mine seems to really wonky. Doesn’t turn all the way off and also goes when it wants to.
PushTracker itself works pretty well, and it has a nice simple interface. The problem is that pairing PushTracker with your this app band is difficult, and the device ALWAYS becomes un-paired after a day or so. To make matters worse, PushTracker thinks it's still paired, and won't let you re-pair until you force-quit PushTracker .
I have to agree with others the wrist band always says disconnected when it isn’t and just isn’t easy to use. I hope you make this compatible with the Apple Watch so we don’t need both since wrist band doesn’t work well with app or smartdrive. I mean I don’t see why you can’t easily use Apple Watch instead. Maybe it would fix most issues with app and wristband because wristband is garbage buttons are hard to use and very confusing. PushTracker is useless since I can’t ever change setting or anything
All I can see is my profile page and I can’t see the other screens. Please help me. I even entered the smartdrive serial number.
Tried to update the firmware to 1.4 but PushTracker will not pair with my wristband, even though the wristband indicates it is paired by showing the check mark. After trying about 20 times I finally deleted PushTracker from my iPhone 7 and reinstalled it. Finally it paired and I was able to update the firmware. However, it took several connections and unconnections to get the device to complete the update and show that the SmartDrive Bluetooth and SmartDrive microprocessor were updated.
I have never been able to easily connect PushTracker with the smart drive and so I rarely ever do. I am glad that this time Max Mobility sent an email about the new version because I was 2 versions behind in updates! I hope they continue to communicate with their customers. Since these devices are not only more expensive than our wheelchairs in some cases, and an invaluable part of our daily lives, I think Max Mobility owes it to their customers to communicate better.
Only 4 stars because PushTracker has issues with pairing. Not sure if it's just me or if others have issues as well.
