As a parent of a new Marine recruit, we are told too use Red Cross to get in touch in case of emergencies. I'm lucky that I've not needed to use the Red cross in this manner but HeroCare doesn't even give the option of adding our recruits details. Perhaps in an update?
Why does this only go up to CW2? Thatβs pretty sad to leave ranks out. It makes HeroCare useless for a lot of people.
On the list of ranks it goes from Private First Class straight to Corporal. Specialist has been skipped so I am unable to put my husbands rank in therefore I am unable to use HeroCare.
I haven't been able to get past the setting up of my soldier because HeroCare is missing the specialist rank.
This is a very nice app, for sure. But the problem is it will only allow you one family member in the military to contact. I have 2 children in the military but I can only place one. Not too helpful
There's a need to be able to add more than one entry. I have two children in the military!
There needs to be an option to add more than one military member.
It also needs to be supported by more than just an iPhone. Iβve never been able to get it to download on an android.
I am excited being a part of the red cross volunteer and hopefully taking up some future classes awesome Iam also a ham operator an work in laboratory assistance and training from the fire department putting out fires.
My son recently graduated from BMT and it's a good feeling knowing Red Cross is here when we need it. I received the email the day after we came home from Lackland AFB. It all worked out so perfectly. Thank you to all service members, past, present, and future.
My family has never needed to use this service, but it is great to know that it can now be accessed through my phone, which I always have with me, just in case....
