Amino Community Manager Reviews

I haven’t been able to make a community for the past 3 months…at first I thought it was just an issue with my phone or data so of course I reset my phone, deleted the data and even deleted BOTH apps to see if that would help the problem.
Unfortunately it’s been a continuous issue for me and other members. I’ve reported the bug twice and even though AminoCommunityManager ’s description said that bug fixes were done a month ago, I don’t think it really was. Even with the Amino app they always say they fix the bugs but the same issues are persistent…

Ayy amino! You’re app has gone down hill people are power hungry and you do nothing to stop it i know you see what is happening since you are in power and command to shut it down or reopen it also I hate when I says bugs fix you never fix bugs cause my phone always glitches when I’m on amino and I’ve only had this phone for almost a year not even five or six and some sometimes I have to delete amino over and over again just to get back on it it’s really annoying and can you fix the problem for me and stop hungry leaders and there power hungry staff and you have my number so fill free to contact me about this

The color scheme for the communities needs to be updated badly. It would also be nice to get different fonts for both apps entirely. That would make customizing communities even more amazing. Usually members have to download apps with limited fonts that are actually really common and not very appealing. That keeps us limited in so many ways. Colored fonts are not going to kill Amino either. There are small forums on the web that even have colored text for users.

Also again there are still too many open communities that are dead. It would be nice if something was done about that including inactive accounts. If an account stopped being used idk 5 years ago shutting it down would be nice. I’ve ran into many accounts that show up in my communities but never are active especially from day one in the community. It’s just dead weight to be honest and community staff get frustrated when they try to communicate with those accounts and nothing happens.

They can send several messages to one account for who knows how long yet the account is never deleted or the account is never removed from the community member list. This hinders communities more then you would think.

I’ve had a listed community for a while, and we’ve been trying to get it locked for quite some time. I think AminoCommunityManager should not have to require Team Amino to approve every little thing we change inside our community. If you’re scared that people will abuse this freedom, put a cooldown feature, i recommend you can only change the locking feature once a month and the other features (deactivating modules, making public chats, etc) twice a month. There are a lot of communities in Amino and Team Amino is already bad enough with responding to emails, especially when there isn’t even a choice to lock your community or change a module on the website. Please fix this!!!

I have used AminoCommunityManager for over 6 years now and it’s what I’ve always felt comfortable talking on. I’ve enjoyed it for years until as of lately. Everything’s changed for worse. The addition of Amino+ took away many features from people without memberships but it was easy to get used to. However, the taking away of the opt-out of ads option was one of the worst things to happen in AminoCommunityManager for me. The ads are quick and large and distract from content so it was nice when you had the option to not have ads. I may even have to relocate to another app because of it. Very disappointed

This is a great app that I love to use. Now that I’m able to make aminos,I realize that I’ve been granted much more freedom. Though there is a problem that needs to be fixed immediately.

Every time I tree to see all the members in my amino,or select a new curator/leader,it won’t show me the list of members. This is a serious problem as I can’t control my amino properly if we can’t assign positions and monitor our members. It keeps saying that there is an internal problem every time I try to load it but it’s been going on forever so you’re obviously not trying to fix it. Please help fix the problem soon.

I like AminoCommunityManager. It's easy to navigate and helpful. It makes me exited to lead an amino that has the potential to be wonderful community in the future. However, there is an issue. I feel like Amino is trying to keep my Amino from being listed. For some strange reason, the launch image keeps on being deleted, and I have to constantly add it again. And then there's the actual rules. They are just ridiculous... I have to have at least 2 leaders, both spending 10+ minutes a day on the new, empty amino, and I have to spend 4+ days. I did all of that and I still don't have my Amino listed...

Ok I really like AminoCommunityManager and I really want to enlist my Amino but having 15 active members? That’s way too much and I’ve asked people to join my amino but no one has other than two other people. It’s quite annoying when I need my amino to get enlisted for people to join!

Can you fix it so 15 people don’t have to be active. Can the Leader just be active for a couple days then enlist it? That sounds better than having 15 active people. But that’s just what sounds better. You can do something to your own liking.

It’s not a bad app, but I expected it to be better. For one thing, they need more options for color. They only allow for some basic colors to be used for theme. And, honestly, not that that appealing. For some of the pictures I use, it doesn’t even let me use them. It’s stupid. It’s also stupid how I have to wait 2 weeks to submit a community. Every time I press submit it says that I have everything I need and then it says I have to wait 14 days and it just pisses me off. What also pisses me off is how I’m allowed a maximum of three communities. I made a Miku Nakano community, one for Chika Fujiwara, and one for Corona-Chan. When I found out there wasn’t a community for Tamaki Kotatsu, I tried to make one myself, when I tried to, it said I was only allowed to make 3 communities. Why can’t I make more than three if I want to? I dislike the rule very much. On reddit, I’m allowed to make as many communities as I want, and I make the rules. But other than that it’s fine I guess

I definitely love AminoCommunityManager . Making an Amino is actually pretty easy (not the part with getting people to actually join). However- I feel as if it could use a major update. For example, the color options. It’s the same, old color bar from a long time ago. It’d be much better if it was up to date with the current one the main app has. Just in general though- it’s not up to date with the actual app. It’s still back in the phase where avatars were a thing.

I'm trying to delete my own amino/community and I forgot the password so I tried to do that forget password thing and whenever I try to put my number for the verification thing(which I still think having a password to delete an amino is stupid) it kept saying invalid and I need to update AminoCommunityManager even though I already have the recent version of AminoCommunityManager , Im just very frustrated as of right now and I hope they fix this soon so I can delete my amino soon.

This is a really great app and puts everything where it needs to be and is easy to understand, however my only problem is the fact that it doesn’t have iPad compatibility. I feel like if you make it compatible, it would be worth more as an app because the purpose of it is to make a community with AminoCommunityManager and it’s hard to so when you’re working on a small phone.

I tried to make an amino to test out a new feature (by the time I’m writing this) stories. (Dunno why they exist) And when it said it was done, it said, “Sorry, this amino no longer exists.” Even though I just made it... So then, I tried making another one. Same thing happened. Then I came to the main app to find that those two aminos showed up. Then I tested the feature, and tried deleting them. It worked, but only to an extent. I find that the two aminos disappear, and reappear on the main app, and ACM. Can you maybe fix this? Thanks, Kiraritchi.

Hey, Amino community, I have a question, why did you have to add a video time limit? There's some people want to post videos more than 15 secs. They need it to show vids for proof, how to do, and some more. A picture won't help, so if they can't upload a video time limit, then that's gonna be hard for them, since they don't have other social medias or the person they are talking to don't have an another social media as well. I'm just wondering why you have to add it. You can change it if you want. Anyways its a good app!

Its very easy to navagate, however it could use some improvements

-less lag
It takes around 30 seconds to upload an image to something, and I'd like to see that fixed

-Moved to a different catagory
A small bug I found after editing something like a discription I would be moved to "members" or anything like that. Kind of annyoing

-PHOTO SIZES
You don't know how useful this would be. For example, I had to constantly experement with the title bar to find the correct size (1200x300), so it'd be nice if AminoCommunityManager said how large the photos had to be.

-Tutorial
This would be nice as a quick explainer to where everything is, as it took my awhile to find how to add cuators/leaders, etc.

Besides that, this is a very helpful app that I'd suggest for those who want to make community-based apps (or websites, you get what I'm trying to get across)

AminoCommunityManager is constantly glitching when I edit my description page, especially when trying to add a link. When you paste the link, instead of being out where you clicked to paste, it puts the link completely somewhere else where it doesn’t belong at all. I’ve never been able to fix this issue. It sometimes happens when I’m editing a post on the actual amino app. I’ve had this problem for MONTHS! Please fix it.

hello! i would make this review on the actual amino app but it’s glitched, which is fine and all, just a little annoying.. my problem is that whenever i copy a link on amino, whether that be from a profile or just from a post, it glitches and shows the link and the name that was input into it. i hope you guys are able to fix this glitch. thank you!

I just wish you could make it so we could make more aminos for different things! I love AminoCommunityManager but I just wish we could make more amino than just 3... I have so many ideas for aminos and I don’t want to have to delete one I already have to make a new one! That’s my only complaint and I just hope you see this and just make it that we can make more aminos! That way we’ll be able to have even more aminos and ideas! And maybe more users!

I deleted amino a few months ago for storage reasons and reinstalled it today. I tried editing my past community but it told me i am not on the latest version. I went to AminoCommunityManager to check if it needed an update but it didnt show any type of “update” button. AminoCommunityManager was great until this point. Please fix this if possible. I don’t know if this happened to many people or if this is just a problem with my device. Anyways fix this as soon as possible cause i wanna talk to my friends. :)

Love AminoCommunityManager . Think it’s amazing and easy to use. I would also like to suggest if you could update the theme color.

The colors are really limited and it would be nice if you could update the system like the one in the actual amino app. Being able to type in the hex color number or using the new pick a color feature in AminoCommunityManager as well would be greatly appreciated.

Also the ability to remove the theme color as a option and just have an image. I made the mistake of adding a theme color and now I cannot remove it to expose my primary image. My image is just hidden by the theme color and it’s not the best option for some theme aesthetics.
