My app wont even open right now. There is an error when I open. It says that I am not connected to something but I have an internet connect. I can’t find anything that can help me solve this issue. I have used AmazonRapids and it was great for my son. He loved it.

Will not show you price unless you download AmazonRapids . For that and that alone will use different product. If you go to the website makes you come back here to download.

Says there is an error loading, check connection. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing works.

I use the age 2+ path and I have to say. These might be the worst stories I have ever heard. It might be helpful for learning to read and turning off the narration.

Says can’t connect & I've connection

I want to start out saying that my kids love AmazonRapids and I am mostly a fan. It's impossible to upgrade to a full subscription, though, if you let the free subscription lapse. I finally just signed back up for a free subscription with a regular subscription starting in 2 weeks, but can't access the full library for two weeks while I wait to be billed. I could not figure out any other way. So we will wait I suppose, but I am frustrated.

My 6 year old loves AmazonRapids. He reads the dialogue while the audio is playing and finds the stories very entertaining. Most of them are silly. AmazonRapids is a creative way to attract young readers and get them reading without their conscious effort.

My son is dyslexic and AmazonRapids is his favorite when it comes to reading! The opendyslexic font option and the read along text are perfect for his needs! I love that the words light up as it’s read aloud!

I can’t believe there aren’t more reviews! AmazonRapids helped my son learn how to read and spell. The stories are great, varied, funny, sometimes a little weird but overall well worth the $.

My 6 and 9 year old daughters love AmazonRapids. My 9 year old is a reluctant reader and it is a constant battle but she uses this without me even having to ask. The love the stories and voices.

Have many originals books for kids and it’s free

So far AmazonRapids is working for my kids flawlessly, to date that's 2 months. The service is also worth the cost. My daughter was not a lover of books.. In fact when it was reading time, as a 2nd grader, she treated reading as a punishment and made it a fight EVERY SINGLE TIME.. Books, product labels, any and every thing with words was met with frustration. I came across a deal to try Rapids and saw how much it would be and thought that, because the short stories are set up like threaded text communications, that she might be more inclined to try a little harder and fight a little less. It turns out that was an understated estimate: After a few days, she was asking to read when it wasn't reading time. She's trying out paper books.. She reads product labels and things on the tv such as subtitles. In conclusion, the service is worth it. For strong or less strong readers.

As a school librarian, former reading teacher and mom of 3, I have used and reviewed a huge number of e-reading apps. This is hands-down one of my new favorites mostly because it instantly engaged my reluctant 9 year old son and kept him happily reading for an hour the first time he touched AmazonRapids . It is a perfect bridge for our students today who may be looking for a way to read in the way most adults tend to these days (small snippets at a time) and also allows kids to constantly DO something - tap for the next text. I love it! I am hoping to find a way to get this in the hands of my students, but have to find a way to get a subscription for 260 students......

My girls love AmazonRapids. They are 8 and 9. It puts stories into text message format. Totally worth the $2.99 a month for the unlimited subscription. You can set up profiles and pick which categories they like. They have been reading even after their timers go off. That's a win for me.

I usually don't write reviews, but I'm amazed by AmazonRapids. My child is one who likes to keep moving; it was be a struggle to get him to settle down and read. Reading with AmazonRapids has actually kept his attention. This is such a clever concept. Love it!
