Wow. I see all of the negative feedback regarding TheHockeyNews and it makes me nervous. I say this because so far it has been flawless for me. I love it. It hasn’t crashed. I can see every issue clearly. I still have my print subscription which I am glad for but this is handy if I’m out and about and don’t have my print version. So I am hoping that it’s not all going to come tumbling down. But so far, I am very happy with it.

I have been a subscriber since 1997 and have always thoroughly enjoyed the publication. It was lacking prior to current ownership but has since beefed up. Can’t wait to have things back to normal and have a more consistent publication schedule (only knock against it). I am a lifelong subscriber no doubt about it!!

Being a subscriber of the magazine for many years and enjoying it, I decided to subscribe for TheHockeyNews . I paid my 2$ in hopes of reading older subscriptions and TheHockeyNews doesn’t work. It keeps telling me it will take a few minutes to restore my subscription. I gave it a week and I still can’t access any older issues. It’s really sad that they still can’t get it right. It’s a joke!!

Can’t sign into my account, even changed my password. Won’t accept my account number either, or what I thought was my account number on my latest issue. Why doesn’t my account online, on the website, show my account number instead of trying to figure it out what it is on the mailing label?! Subscriber since I was in my teens. This is horrible.

Once again they “upgraded” TheHockeyNews . Now I can’t get any of the new issues. Good upgrade. The incompetence of these guys is beyond belief. Yet trying to contact them results in NEVER getting to talk to a human being and never gets the problem resolved. A quality publication with incompetent support. Do not get a digital subscription ! They are unable to fulfill it but will gladly keep your money.

I love Hockey but never see the issues I want in the stores. This is great, beautiful clear pictures and information right at my fingertips!!

Glad I didn’t cancel my print subscription because TheHockeyNews rarely works, but when it does it’s pretty good. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it several times but still can’t see current issues, keeps asking me to subscribe or buy the single issue, all I can see are past issues from months and months ago.

With the new update I cannot access any issues previous to 2019 without repurchasing them. I have contacted the developers and The Hockey News and have not received any replies. If the problem is not resolved, I will likely discontinue my subscription. After decades of being a subscriber to THN, I am deeply saddened and disappointed .

Great app;absolutely no problems; easy to navigate; it’s the hub for hockey

This is the definition of hockey knowledge ,even handed and enjoyable stories in every issue

The Hockey News Ap is easy and efficient to use.

Only works with internet connection. Must verify status every launch. Does not verify in iPhone at all. Would love a refund on purchases.

Been trying for two weeks to read anything. Only options are to spend even more money to buy upgrades. Bunch of c**p.

A shame TheHockeyNews is brutal to use. Just updated. Does not allow you to go back to home pads when done with an article. Have to close it out.

Don’t Waste Your $!!!

If you’ve come for hockey content expect to be disappointed. Magazine is highly political and light on actual hockey content.

For years I was a avid reader. For the most part enjoyed and learned. However, TheHockeyNews is a joke.

I have no access to my older issues anymore!

I was upset at first, but now, I see what a goal job they've done, and what a good deal they are offering for their digital subscription , How could you resist! 2 thumbs up*****

What a bunch of losers these guys are. They "upgraded" TheHockeyNews . But now it doesn't work. Was the upgrade a way to get me to purchase a subscription thru THN instead of thru iTunes? We'll never know. When I called THN to tell them that I couldn't sign in to access my mag, I was told that because I made my purchase thru Apple, I'd have to call them. AND THEN THE GUY HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! Apple couldn't help because it's not their app. They told me I'd have to wait for another update. Maybe once the playoff are over! Right, THN?

Lost everything. Can’t sign in. Restoring my purchases showed nothing. Lost all my issues and can’t read what I bought from a previous subscription. Thankfully I didn’t renew.

They changed TheHockeyNews and with the new app, it says I don't have a subscription. Yet I just renewed in Oct.
