I found this annoying as well and set out to build a simple, user friendly way to find cruises using just my phone.

I’m disappointed that their aren’t enough search options. I’m a cruise novice and would like to look for options by onboard activity. Things for families to do, kids activity, etc. only search option is departure port and number of nights. Or arrival port and number of nights. I’m looking for a search engine that will help select the perfect family vacation. Also- if parents want to go to casino- what options for kids.
Seems to be an OK app but really wish I could specify preferences such as excluding specific cruise lines (Carnival), regions/ports, etc. much more efficient than trying to add filters is each search, especially when I know I’d never cruise on certain lines.
CruiseCountdownPicker is pretty cool and helpful with searching options and saving trips you want to watch. What is ANNOYING is having the “pop up ad window” every time you change search options petering you to “rate” CruiseCountdownPicker .
Widget has “Packing List” on it that you can’t adjust or remove. Words are small and difficult to see on some background images. No way to pick only certain images to rotate through or even add your own. No way to set how often to rotate images.
Searching for cruises won’t search all dates, only a specific date it’s showing.
Still a good app but to many issues to rate 5 stars.
I found CruiseCountdownPicker from the Cruise subreddit. It was talking about the Countdown widget in CruiseCountdownPicker . That’s the main reason I downloaded it. After downloading CruiseCountdownPicker it was soooo much more than just a countdown widget app. Being able to look at multiple cruise line deals is awesome. The search filters you have also is a great tool. I have not booked a cruise through CruiseCountdownPicker but definitely will be looking into that. This is a great tool to compare prices and I suggest anyone that loves cruising like I do to download CruiseCountdownPicker!

Really enjoy using CruiseCountdownPicker. The UX is intuitive and pleasant to use. Rates are accurate and in real time. The customer service is great! Awesome response time and genuine interest in helping you out.
My only negative is that I have not found a way to turn off notices for a cruise that you no longer want to follow. Other than that, love CruiseCountdownPicker !
I love CruiseCountdownPicker because like, in 11 days I'm gonna get on the royal Caribbean ship called the Allure of the seas. And I wouldn't have known if i didn't have CruiseCountdownPicker
I like the countdown widget and there is also lots of other great information for your cruise. Watch for great prices, search for a cruise, etc!
The CruisePicker app is pretty cool, and the development team is super responsive to feedback! However, my favorite part is the countdown widget! I now have a cool little graphic display right on my smart phone homepage that shows me how many days left until my cruise. I just love waking up each morning and seeing the number go down! Other apps wanted to charge a monthly fee for this feature, and I wasn’t willing to pay. After deleting a competitor’s app, I discovered this one, and I’m super happy!
They have beautiful photos on here for our countdowns trying to find some thing that doesn’t cost a fortune. This is just right for me.
App was super easy to download and super easy to navigate through to add my sailing and get the countdown. It also seems pretty simple to add a watchlist if you are interested in a certain cruise destination.
What I like about CruiseCountdownPicker it’s easy to use. Also the price quoted is the real price. Other apps provide an artificial cruise price. Only to be disappointed when you get the real cruise price.
If you are looking for simplicity and accurate pricing, this is CruiseCountdownPicker for you!
I find CruiseCountdownPicker very useful as my first layer of research. The filter works great, and the pictures are very helpful in forming a first impression. I would not use CruiseCountdownPicker to get quotes on final pricing, but it provides a valuable benchmark for standard price comparison amongst the different cruise lines. I would recommend it to anyone interested in finding the perfect cruise.
I live in Miami, which means I’m a short drive (less than an hour) away from two major ports. Being that close gives me the real opportunity to find out about a deal on Wednesday and be on a weekend cruise that Friday. This new “Deals” section will save me money on vacation fun and make me a more frequent cruiser. Great job CruisePicker! You read my mind.
Downloaded CruiseCountdownPicker and did not see our port listed. Took a chance (most other app support teams never reply) and sent a message to the support email. I was shocked to get a response right away. Not only was the communication great but my cruise port was added in less than a week! Now I can filter and find all cruise ships that embark/disembark locally. Thank you!! 😀
