I am in love with AccountTrackerPro. I’ve been using it for a solid 10 years. The only issue I have is that I wish my husband (who has a Google phone) could use it on his phone and have it connected to the same one I have. It would eliminate him having to text me every time he spends money. So that’s the only issue. Other than that, it’s the best money recording app I’ve found!

I’ve only one, but major complaint. When updating account balances, no calculation is made to debit/credit previous balance. No doubt a great way to track daily transactions but AccountTrackerPro is less than ideal to track balances or net worth alone. This is because updates made over time do not reflect the changes made. I’m simply left with a current balance and no balance history. I suppose I could manually calculate the difference but this is far too tedious with multiple accounts. When updating an account balances, a simple, “Would you like to enter the difference as a debit/credit to the account?” would be a simple fix to allow more detailed, long term account tracking.

This is AccountTrackerPro I have been searching for over 1 year for! I had even gone so far as to purchase the Apple Developer license and begin to start learning to program myself because I have literally bought about 10 different checkbook apps searching for something like this.

-Uses iCloud so that multiple devices can be used to enter data
-Uses iCloud so that no subscription is required

Those were the two main checkboxes I needed checked. I would advise anyone using it to Read The Freaking Manual (RTFM). It defaults to a reconciliation method I had not seen before (items today and in past are cleared) so that threw me off but the developer was very nice about it. Responded within minutes.

You can create your own categories which is nice and I had seen this in other apps. I like how it memorized the payees and I can go in and edit the list. I like it also has a backup feature too which gives me peace of mind (especially after having 3 different apps lose all of my data after using them about 3 months).

In order to use multiple devices make sure you read the pop ups which appear when turning SYNC on. They are very clear. From what I know about the iCloud sync, iOS can throttle the syncing so you will want to turn it on for your primary device and then wait a bit before turning it on for the second device.

Have used AccountTrackerPro for a few years. Only issue, which is a real pain, is that synching is not reliable. In the past it would sync instantly between iPhones and iPads. Not anymore. Starting to look at other options.

Update: After numerous times of deleting and reinstalling we determined it was an issue with the iPhones. Works great on the iPads. We actually tried other apps and came back to this. Best one we’ve used.

This up is awesome for expats trying to manage finances in a few countries at the same time. I was trying to mock something similar in excel but then tried AccountTrackerPro and it is the best spend few dollars in a AppStore for me. Not sure exactly how it is pulling currency exchange rates but reconciliation of all currencies in one currency of your choice is great way to know roughly your current overall balance. Love it! Perfect for perfectionists!

I have been using Account Tracker for more than 5 years. After you get your regular categories entered, it’s smooth sailing. I’m able to stick to my budget by using AccountTrackerPro. It’s simple and always reliable. I also use the notes section of a blank transaction to log other information I might need to search for later. Graham Haley, thank you! I love AccountTrackerPro.

If you want a great ledger type accounting app without all the ridiculous graphics this is the one to have. Good graphics to track spending, pie and bar graphs they are there. But the nuts and bolts of AccountTrackerPro are much like the quicken software I used to use on a PC. Anymore I just use iOS devices so this one is the best one I found after using several others.

Hands down the best check registry app on the AppStore and a great personal finance app all around. Dropbox syncing makes it THE choice for sharing and reconciling a check registry with family or friends and it works flawlessly. Multiple account support, iCloud and Dropbox syncing, budgets, reporting, too many features to mention in detail. I’ve tried many apps that try to accomplish what AccountTrackerPro provides and they all fall short of the mark.

This is just AccountTrackerPro I was looking for. I have been using it for a few years now…It is straight forward, super useful and intuitive. If you are not sure that you can let go of spreadsheets on a laptop, then this is your app! I assure you it is worth it. No ads in the Pro version and not all of the useless features to navigate around like other apps I tried. Great job, Graham!

My husband and I used ireconcile for several years and were very disappointed by the suggested replacements, until we found Accounts Pro! It syncs, looks ahead, and manages several accounts! I love that it shows you redundant transactions in the month. I get paid weekly, and we have redundant transactions to balance in the month, AccountTrackerPro shows everything! (Unlike some other apps). Great app! Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic app! I have tried about 90% of checkbook apps from AccountTrackerPro Store. No other program stands up to it! Not even close! One feature I would like to see added involves the notes sectional. It lets you scan a receipt, which is difficult to be accurate. I would like to be able to add a photo from camera and insert in notes. Picture in notes is my only request. Besides that, it is a very good investment.

I actually believe Account Tracker Pro is the best kept secret in AccountTrackerPro Store for a Checkbook/ Personal Finance app!

It has everything you would ever need to reconcile your account balances. An easy to use User Interface, Manual & Automatic transaction reconciliation, the ability to make Split Category (and subcategory) transactions for Daily and Recurring formats, Budget & Detail reports, the ability to make multiple accounts in multiple currencies, iCloud & Dropbox Back-up/Syncing for multiple devices all free for the cost of this very inexpensive app. But best of all, it offers the ability to look ahead on your recurring transactions to alert you if you're running short before the end of the month. Oh, and one more thing, it also supports Apple Watch!

The developer is very fast at responding to any issue you have with AccountTrackerPro when reporting it to him by email.

Had Quicken multi platform until they stopped supporting their non subscription app. Found AccountTrackerPro and thought I would give it a try. It does everything that I wanted and guess what? Was able to transfer my files to AccountTrackerPro fairly easy. Keep all my banking accounts and iras. As an 89 year old I had very few questions that I had to seek help with. Support was outstanding. Email was answered in a few minutes. You can’t go wrong with AccountTrackerPro and support. PS. The sync system with ICloud works great.

Been looking to replace my previous app that has lost support and became subscription-based. I never wish to connect to bank accounts, I like to enter things manually, and I don't need lots and lots of complication when setting up accounts and categories. Now I'm happy that AccountTrackerPro I was using went subscription only or else I'd have never been motivated to find something else that is much better for me. I love AccountTrackerPro. So clean and straight forward.

I have been using account tracker for years and just upgraded to the pro version. It was so easy to migrate my data and there are new options I really like, particularly the ability to close and hide old accounts. I tried many apps when I first started using an app to keep up with my banking and they were all lacking in some major way. AccountTrackerPro does everything I need and want it to do. Can’t recommend enough! I would now be lost without it. It’s worth way more than the modest price. The support is also fantastic! We have used AccountTrackerPro to manage multiple accounts for day to day tracking since around 2013. I recently had to look for a large appliance purchase data and there is was back in 2013. Anyway, My absolute favorite feature is the syncing between devices so my wife and I always know what’s going on and can each enter transactions as they happen so it’s all in the same place at the same time. My adult kids have also purchased AccountTrackerPro and use it along with my elderly father. Great features, easy to use, very powerful.

I have been a long-time customer for years & use AccountTrackerPro daily! It is indispensable. I replaced an app that was no longer supported years ago & am so glad that I found AccountTrackerPro. The developer is truly dedicated & supportive. He has quickly responded to questions that I have, and continues to update AccountTrackerPro on a regular basis. It is very customizable & full featured; I have the Pro version! I love the recent update to the icon! The UI for AccountTrackerPro is so clean, intuitive and appealing!

I've been using AccountTrackerPro for a number of years. It replaced Splash Money, and I've never been sorry to have started using it. The "look ahead" or "future" feature is a great way to tell at a glance if there's enough in the account to pay bills for the next month or three.

Recently I had a suggestion for the developer, based on my poor eyesight. After he responded (same day, and he's across an ocean from me!) I discovered thay he had already implemented a tool that allowed me to see what I needed. But he implemented my suggestion anyway. Wow, I am very impressed!

I had been reluctant to upgrade my iPhone to the latest version of iOS because iReconcile was no longer supported. After much searching for a replacement I certainly found it in AccountTrackerPro.

Easy to import all my old data from the bank and get up and running quickly. The ability to use my Dropbox instead of having to pay a yearly subscription to backup and sync with my wife is wonderful! So far I have only used the backup but soon I will setup the syncing as well.

On top of it being the perfect replacement for the other app, I emailed the developer about some things I wanted changed to make it easier for me to read not thinking anything would come of the request because who am I to ask for changes to the program. Low and behold, I immediately got a reply to my email. The developer understood exactly what I was asking for and in the update that came out just now the options I wanted are now included.

I’m happily astounded and I am so glad I found a perfect replacement for a now unsupported app that I had used for years.

I can see using AccountTrackerPro for years to come.

This is the most complete Checkbook or accounting application for Apple iPhone, ipad and MacBook. All data syncs to these devices. I Keep multiple accounts in this program and the grouping function really allows you to organize how accounts are totaled and presented.
I have used about all the checkbook apps in AccountTrackerPro Store and i think this is the best!
