Had ImouLife for 1.5 years now. Multiple issues. I purchased a set with 8 cameras and connected them all to the WiFi. There’s no continuous scrolling when looking at the camera history. And it keeps reloading from the beginning every-time I try to scroll to see what happened a couple minutes / seconds later. Within those couple of seconds. Anything can be missed like someone passing by. It gets to be annoying when I’m back from work and find packages missing, and have to view each and every single second of the past 10 hours just so I won’t miss a thing CAUSE THERE IS NO CONTINUOUS SCROLLING. on top of this, throughout the last 1.5 years ImouLife kept logging me out, prevented me from logging in even with the correct login info, as well as giving me the “unable to display” screen when I’m at work. This was especially irritating when I went on vacations and wanted to check my cameras. Save your money and time. You ARE paying for quality and this is exactly like its price. Cheap and useless. Better off paying for a RING or NEST cameras.

Everything works great, it would be a perfect five stars if I can use my last pass password manager to login, and also whenever I login from a different device, ImouLife logs me out of the previous device Forcing me to re-enter my password. It gets a little old when you have a very strong password trying to login from a smart phone.

Application is nice. However, everything is just super slow and exhausting. Every time I try to switch cameras, they have to load back up and it stays stuck anywhere between 92% - 99% for about 10-20 seconds. It may not seem as much but, it really gets frustrating when you’re trying to view past recordings, as every time you move through the recordings, it needs to load back up. If you're trying to find something on previous records, and do not know the exact time, then you will take hours and hours trying to browse through.

Is this only happening to me?

In old version, Camera could connected & play by using cellular networks. After updated to new version, camera couldn’t play by using cellular networks & after reach to 97%,,“Streaming Error” is showing. Pls fix this problem.

The camera and the sound are both good quality. However, everytime I play the motion/human detection history, it suddenly skipped to different time. Not only that, It is also slow and stays stuck 90%-99% whenever I playback the motion/human detection history. Sometimes, it is not detected the motion/human eventho I have already set the activity zone with 4 sensitivity. Please improve it, it is sooo important to improve more on motion/human detection. Thank You

It would be great if you could turn on the cameras without using the schedule... I feel it annoying to change the schedule every time to just turn on the cameras, for example: You going shopping and then I need to schedule the cameras? A quick on/off button would have been great. Some other brands have that function... or is it just me that don’t find it?

I purchased 3 devices which worked and recorded great for the first 30 days. I signed up for the autopay plan for each and they have been just sucking money from me each month without providing the cloud storage to see events on my devices. If not watching live they are worthless and company does not offer refund or compensation for services owed. Horrible customer care setup.

The only drawback is the limited number of presets (upto 6 only) which can be viewed through ImouLife . although in previous version of Lechange, I managed to view all the presets made in NVR remotely. Hope you fix that soon. Thank you.

Since the update I have been unable to log into my ip for camera viewing. Nothing works remotely and the servers will not send a new password request either. The update booted me out of my login and erased my saved password for ImouLife . When the reset password ask for a key the server never sends it. When I use a browser to reset it the server just says error. Total complete garbage imho. Will never buy from this company again.

Added two different models of Imou cameras with good streaming quality and worked well with iOS，even supporting face ID.

Have not been able to review any recordings, had trial then paid ,still can’t watch recordings really mad since stuff is missing and no proof hope I can figure it out really like the camera design

The latest issue I’ve run across is you can’t change the time zone or turn in and off the daylight savings time toggle. If you toggle DST to off then save your changes and back out then it turns itself back on again when you go back in to check. So all the time stamps on your video footage is never correct which makes reviewing footage a nightmare.

Worked great up until it did an update, and then stopped letting me streaming live. Now it refuses to join the wifi it has always been on. Tried everything deleting the device and restarting the camera. I even deleted the account to start from scratch which didn’t work.

As of the last update I no longer receive motion detection alerts in ImouLife . If I am on the base unit the cameras respond to motion correctly and the system posts a message on the screen when motion occurs-if I configure it to do so. Why did ImouLife stop showing notifications of motion? It was fine until that happened.

I have signed in and set everything up,however,on adding cameras,my type does not appear on the list. If I select “other IPC”..I get the message “connecting to cloud” and a countdown and at the end nothing happens..cannot connect is the verdict,although the cameras are up running. And can be actually viewed within idmss app...

Easy set up clear picture works good

That was a horrifying experience. I tried for an hour to get ImouLife to work with the camera with no success. I just kept going around and around and never got to the end. I have used cameras with a hotspot before but I just couldn’t get this one to work.

I entered my email address, carefully letter by letter, and created a 12 character password consisting entirely of letters and numbers, and no matter what ImouLife wouldn’t let me press the button to continue. There is no way to even start using ImouLife . Worse than useless, it wasted my time.

I bought 2 camera and set up today, but my family have 4 people, I have logged in, but my sister or my dad, my mom logn in, and it logn out on my device. Need change for this

It responds immediately and my bonded devices never have a delay

I was very pleased with ImouLife but the last two versions just added more bugs, I’m now unable to playback events without ImouLife crashing, also the event screenshot no longer shows up in the notifications. Please fix ASAP or roll back to the previous version.

Besides the bugs ImouLife is great, but I don’t like not being able to view playback locally over WiFi local network directly without going through the internet, which is a lot slower.

After the latest update on iPhone 7Plus I see 0.00 kb/s and camera does not work. I have to re-enter ImouLife and for a while it is ok and then back to 0.00

No such issue on other devices with older versions.

I have 1 camera and it has a memory card installed. But I can’t see the footages. I checked everything again and again and everything single settings was right. Even it shows it is recording. But won’t show the footages.
