Hustle has the potential to be good but not stable enough. You can be texting, then all of sudden the text jumps up and down the page. It still works but is very annoying and slows you down. Also tried to sign up 2 people and they could not sign in. Kept saying wrong password when correct. Tried numerous times to reset password and email never sent?? Please fix!!!

You won’t be charged for wrong numbers, they said. False. Get your numbers ahead of time. You’ll pay for landlines and wrong numbers.
You’ll be able to engage your audience, they claim. False. You will not be able to sort or export data to filter the audience you’d like to engage.
The support is via email only and will take days if not weeks. It is a full time job. You’ll want a refund (you’ll never get it) but then you’ll want a salary since you now work for this app in a fruitless attempt to optimize this technology.
You’d literally spend less time texting all 7K contacts from your personal phone number.

Hustle is slow and clunky. Several other apps and web apps make texting easier and faster. Also it’s not cool that Hustle forwards calls to my personal voicemail inbox. I used Hustle for volunteering on with a political candidate. I felt concerned and stopped sending messages because several people tried calling me multiple times for who knows what reason. This service should accept calls in-platform, allow users to disable incoming calls, or block them completely.

The Send button must be wider and taller. I have small fingers and whenever I hit the Send button, it still manages to expand the iPhone keyboard as if I am trying to enter a message. This is super annoying when you’re trying to send 50 texts at a time in a workflow.
Please make the white text field where you enter messages less wide and make the Send button larger (vertically and horizontally). Make it easier to send texts faster and I’ll upgrade the review to five stars.

If you’re sending a bunch of texts at a time, you can’t just hit “send” over and over in rapid succession or it will take you into the body of the text and make changes. So you have to do it slowly which is annoying and inefficient. It also is not good at flagging all the responses as new/unresponded to. I have to dig through my conversations to make sure that I replied to everyone which is a lot when you’re texting thousands of people. It’s also irritating that when you hit “reply to messages” it inexplicably makes you swipe left before going into the texts—why???

This is a good app for volunteering but it has a few issues. It is not very smooth, takes a while to load, and lags a bit. Sometimes I have to close Hustle and then open it back up to get it to work. Also I wish they would add a search feature for the available scripts. The place I am volunteering with has like 30 or more different available scripts. So when I am sending mass texts to like 1,000+ people and have to quickly respond it takes a while to scroll through all of the scripts and find the right one. There should be a search option to find certain scripts using keywords or something.

What happened? I used to love Hustle - used it last year with no issues and sang its praises to anyone who would listen. But now it’s soooo buggy (despite many recent “big fixes”). Time to hire some new developers to fix the bugs or we will all have to jump ship. And we need you!! Fix it!!

Since the latest update, when texting back replies, this app times out. This happens in the middle of my response and then I’m unable to recover the text. Frustrating.

Love the idea of using it for campaigns and get out the vote but it is very unstable. I have to delete it and reload Hustle all the time to get away from it being locked up. Hope their success this year will allow for some improvements!

The systems in Hustle are really clean and let me access voters really easy! Unfortunately, there are some issues. When I leave one workflow, it sometimes gets rid of all of my other workflows and I need to restart Hustle . Also, I would love automatic refresh for the messages!

Hustle needs to be optimized for power texters- there are a lot of things that make it slow and impede its purpose. Like how small the send button is, and how the constant notifications overlap the current work you are doing.

Drives me nuts that this app will give me 4 or 5 beeps / push notifications and then when I open Hustle , there are no new messages. NONE. (This isn’t about workflows, the workflows are open and active.) Or maybe there will be one new message. But certainly not 4 or 5! I don’t know if it’s beeping me for no reason OR am I just missing/ losing the responses that are arriving? After three days of this 4:1 ratio I’m going nuts.

I’m volunteering with my state political party to send out texts to remind people to vote, and I’ve gotten a good share of people respond back that they’ve already heard from people using Hustle multiple times. If I was on the receiving end, I would be irritated too! Can you all figure out a way to make sure if someone has already been contacted by Hustle that a new user won’t message them again?

Hustle works fairly well. Although there’s some issues. For one, it seems to log me out automatically after a certain length of time (maybe a few hours). So then I miss text replies that I get. Also sometimes the scripts provided by the organizer disappear. Besides those issues, it gets the job done and works well.

This is a great app for outreach at high volume!!
I just wish there was an app for the backend edits for any on the fly issues that may happen when I’m not near a computer.
Otherwise, super smooth & high quality app! I recommend!!

It’s easy to use and change information. The only thing that bothers me is that the red circle signaling new comments/responses doesn’t go away. It doesn’t update itself.
