I was tired of the default iOS Music app. It had a bunch of stuff I don’t need, and I hated how it sorts songs by album instead of the songs. I missed the classic player on old iOS versions. This is much closer to that, and as an added bonus, downloading songs to the phone from Google Drive for example is so handy. iTunes is so annoying between plugging the phone in and waiting for it to sync before you can add songs.
I find listening to music straight from the phone much better since you don’t need an internet connection.

Anyway my only suggestion is it would be cool if you could edit the metadata of files with StreamMusicPlayer . Again this is great.

I love being able to play music from OneDrive.

Needs buttons to skip ahead/back 10s or so. Dragging the slider is difficult with long audio files.

Works amazingly! I no longer need to use iTunes or Apple Music. Yes - it could use a little UX attention but it is the only app I’ve found that can stream playlists from cloud drives. It also allows the downloading of tracks to save your data or before a long flight for example. Keep up the great work and keep the updates coming.

StreamMusicPlayer crashes whenever I'm importing music from my iPod library. I haven't yet tried other imports, but it's frustrating having StreamMusicPlayer continuously crash. Also when I'm starting StreamMusicPlayer please remove the tutorial. After I've seen it once, I don't need to keep seeing it each and every time I open StreamMusicPlayer . If you feel that people need it, after you display it once, have it as an option in the settings for people to refer back to it.

Love StreamMusicPlayer because I do not need wifi for its usage. I’ve tried several apps and by far this is the best of them all. Yes, the music resides on the device, but so what, it is available at any time and there are times when that is all I need. If I could only have a music app in my device, this one would be it.

Microsoft has made it hard to stream playlists from OneDrive since Groove was shuttered. Because of this I really, really, REALLY wanted to use StreamMusicPlayer.

However, BIG RED FLAGS when I went to log into my account. The authentication dialog is outdated, wrong and sports old Privacy Statement content... which leads me to believe that StreamMusicPlayer uses masquerading dialogs for at least its OneDrive authentication. Just to see what would happen I went through it with a dummy account but didn’t grant permissions at the last step because it wants EVERYTHING.

Nope; I’m too paranoid to continue past that point.

I have tried many apps for listening to my music that is stored on multiple clouds. This is by far the best I’ve used for everything from connecting to storage clouds, searching and playing.

Stream Cloud Music Player is an overall good player, but there are some problem areas:

1. Albums with the same name (like "Greatest Hits") cause problems. The correct album cover is not displayed.

2. Multiple albums by the same artist appear to be randomly arranged in the artist view. They should be either alphabetical or arranged by album.

Makes it super easy to bypass apple’s way of trying to force you into their problems I mean programs

StreamMusicPlayer worked fine until the latest update. Most of my music are stored on Box. Now it gives frequently Box Error which had not seen before the update. Hope it will be fixed soon. This was an amazing app.

Was hoping to steam music from my google drive. StreamMusicPlayer only connected (shows) 1/3 of my library “R” through “Z”, and won’t play any of those. I sent an email for assistance and haven’t received a response. I guess I should be grateful it wasn’t too much money to find out that it’s garbage.

Works perfectly with my OneDrive music folders and streams seamlessly. Many gigs of tunes without chewing up my storage. Very impressed.

Why does StreamMusicPlayer want to see, edit, delete, move, and change who can see all my google drive files? That’s way too much privilege. I just want you to see and play, nothing else. Can someone explain why the other stuff is needed?

Well this was pointless. After seeing something that could play my files from drive in a playlist manner I grew excited. To my dismay, it doesn't work with drive so I can't comment on the actual app outside of that

When I try to connect to Google Drive it says

"Error: disallowed_useragent
This user-agent is not permitted to make an OAuth authorization request to Google as it is classified as an embedded user-agent (also known as a web-view). Per our policy, only browsers are permitted to make authorization requests to Google. We offer several libraries and samples for native apps to perform authorization requests in the browser."

Please fix the problem.

The latest update doesn’t work. It spins forever stating ‘buffering’.

I even deleted StreamMusicPlayer and reinstalled, imported my songs and buffering.

please support the file folder and import files from other apps

Does not recognize the songs of Google drive

All it does is crash. I haven't heard a peep from it, because it cannot seem to work long enough to import or stream anything at all. Junk. Don't waste your money.
