1 year agoIn order for the Federal Government to have any authority or Jurisdiction, the powers granted it MUST BE SPECIFICALLY STATED in the U. S. Constitution!! It has no powers other than those stated in the U. S. Constitution! It Is NOT an EVOLVING, Growing, Expanding, etc., Document! It IS a Restricted Powers Constitution! The 9th and 10th Amendments PROVE it to be so! READ THEM! The Federal Government was given NO POWERS in the Fields of Education and Medicine, Those were left to the STATES! Userpation is ILLEGAL; and ILLEGAL IS VOID! The Reason for the restriction of the Federal Govenment from certain powers over our Lives, is Exactly to AVOID the Situations to which we are presently subjected in the fields of Education, Medicine, and others!

1 year agoThe proposed "2nd Amendment" like addition to the Iowa Constitution, Is a Guarantee of a Right to protect oneself from Murderers, Rapists, and other criminals! Ever Heard of "Life, Liberty. and Pursuit of Happiness? How does one preserves them when facing a criminal? A Criminal does not car about a citizens Rights; they want to fulfill their own desires, and as soon as possible! One cannot deal with Evil, unless one has an advantage! What would that advntage Be? An Absolute Right to protect oneself! There is no alternative with a Criminal!

Get ready to watch a ton of commercials!
I often try to stream the morning news before work. Usually after 10 minutes of commercials, which consist of pop-ups, 3 regular commercials, and several blank screen audio commercials, the news finally appears only to show that I have just missed the weather and anything else I may have been interested in watching. So my morning viewing consists of muting the annoying commercials for up to 10 minutes, then giving up on the app. Too many ads have handicapped your app and live video stream. Then there are other days when the app just loads forever and does nothing.

Love KCRG, hate the app
Cedar Rapids native here. KCRG has always been my go-to news source. No complaints about the station and what they do. This app, though, does NOT do them justice. The good people at KCRG deserve a better app. Half the time when it gives me a notification with “tap to learn more”, it doesn’t open properly. Frequently when I try to open the app, it gives an error message “Error Downloading Data - Please try again. If the issue persists, please try closing the app.” And it keeps popping up, even after several times closing and attempting to re-open. Granted, there are more pressing issues in spring 2020 than to clean up the app. Just adding some honest feedback in a time when many people are tuning in to the news more frequently. TLDR: KCRG is a great news source. This app occasionally lets you see said news.

Won’t load
Since the last update, I have to have location service turned on to get the app to load. I keep location services turned off to conserve data and battery. I normally like the app, but this is frustrating. I don’t know if it is on all devices, but I use Apple products.
