I have 4 of their cameras and it is just like the other reviewers have said. The cameras or their software will work fine for a while and then just stops working. After hours working on them, following their directions carefully over and over again and nothing works, you just give up.
But then what makes this company’s products really horrible is their lack of customer service. First of all, they will not help at all over the phone, no matter what. No, instead you contact them by email, wait a day or 2 for a response. The response is a form email that gives you the instructions you have tried several times that don’t work. You email them back that you have tried all that several times and the camera still does not work. They email back different instructions and they don’t work either. You beg for help over the phone but they say they can’t help over the phone. That’s it for Wansview customer support and you toss another one of their cameras into the garage.
Yes there are positive reviews, but I believe they are from those who just bought the camera and within a few months they will be throwing them into the garage too.
Any company who will not standby their products by providing telephone support deserves these bad reviews.
Please take the advice from me and other reviewers and do not buy this company’s products.

We had two cameras both purchased at different times both just quit working. When the first one was purchased it originally had a 5 year warranty, they changed it to 1 year. The second newer camera, they were only
Going to offer us a fractional refund even though it was still under warranty. They tried to get us to write a 5 star review for a new camera that we had to buy first before they would refund a portion of it. That was how they were going to give us the refund. Bad business.

This company’s cameras were nice but after you’ve had yours and a new coamera version comes out the one you own becomes a reject camera.
The work at first connecting to Wi-Fi and cellular the controller within the app works ok too but then one day the camera disconnects with Wi-Fi and never again through cellular and the control features within the app aren’t consistent. The 480 and 1080 resolutions just work one day 480 and then 1080 and when the camera decides to not work all together for you to reset you get a lavender lens like screen.
All of these happen on a consistent basis but not to be able to use your phone when initially it worked on cellular if not near Wi-Fi to connect to the camera —- well useless.
