SCAD Reviews

SCAD was working fine for the first couple days I had it, but then today when I opened it I was logged out, and now it won’t let me in no matter what I do. I’ve refreshed SCAD , deleted it & redownloaded it, restarted my phone… nothing will work. It either just freezes on the login screen or tells me my info is incorrect. I know I have the right info cause I can log in to everything else just fine.

I’ve just started the year and I need to be able to use SCAD for lots of stuff so please fix it.

SCAD had been working great for a long time, but within the past several months I have been unable to open my class information to access my syllabus, attendance, roster, etc. I have to delete and re-download SCAD every time and then it’ll work once about 40% of the time, which is a huge pain. Please address and fix ASAP.

There are so many glitches. Not only does SCAD crash/freeze on registration day, but I have to delete SCAD every time I want to check my classes, attendance, or pull up my registration time. Every time I save classes for registration, I have to re-save them/look them up on registration day because saved lists are wiped when I have to delete SCAD . I love this app! I would just love for their app to be fixed ❤️

Each time I open my email through SCAD it opens up a pop up link to outlook in Safari. This is extremely annoying.

Sometimes when I open SCAD and log in the screen turns black and SCAD shuts down. I’d have to reopen SCAD and pray it doesn’t happen again. This can happen up to 3 times.

SCAD has a lot of potential and I hate writing reviews but I hope you can take this into consideration and fix these problems.

app always just crashes anytime you get into it. fully updated. but they need to fix asap.

It keeps telling me “my info is incorrect” and won’t let me log in. The problem is I can get into everything else just fine so what is the issue???

My log in info is correct, can log in on my computer just fine— app will not allow me in no matter what. I don’t even know what I can do with SCAD since I can’t even get into it :/

The AR and a couple of other functions don’t work.

For one: the UI is possibly one of the worst I’ve ever seen. And for an art and design school with a UI/UX major, it’s embarrassing, to say the least. It flat out doesn’t work some days. Not to mention when you want to open your email it boots a separate window in safari instead of having an in-app browser which is also annoying.
I get privacy is a thing but is it really necessary to have to log in every single time you open SCAD ? It gets tedious when trying to multitask. Everybody I’ve ever met has their own string of issues regarding the this app app.

It shut down every time I log in. Please fix it ASAP cuz we use it to do many things

Don’t really review apps but since I’m in the hopes of being accepted in this app SCAD is very buggy. I can’t see my application completion status, anything whatsoever in the main menu. I’m better off using the website. Not mad or anything I’m just hoping it gets fixed so SCAD can be fully functional since I might use it if I get accepted!

I’m unable to log in despite my information being correct, and I’ve notice a lot of people have had this issue. Please fix this soon.

The fact that students cannot Click links nor Highlight them to Paste elsewhere, nor simply Press Buttons in their emails to get to websites for them is frustrating. If I don't have access to a laptop, I have to continue to switch back and forth from the "safari/internet" app to the this app app and type every last character of the link. All this work is a gamble because this method only works half the time. I stood next to a bike rack at school for 25 minutes trying to verify my Beefuel account by forwarding things from my this app email to an email account with basic capabilities.

2) I don't understand why SCAD will not remember your password anymore, but the way it worked before with the Touch ID was beautiful. You know what they say if it ain't broke don't fix it lol.

Other than that I think SCAD works well. It is definitely, at the time of this update, more of a help than a hindrance to this student. I am grateful, but only expecting greater from such a great school.

After the redesign a lot of bugs were fixed, but some annoying ones still remain. The main one I’m encountering now is being unable to drop classes or review my schedule in the “my classes” tab. The screen turns white and won’t load. The new update is fantastic, but I just wish that it wasn’t as buggy.

It’s a good app, but buggy. I can’t seem to rid it of a few “ghost” notifications and it sometimes likes to just crash out of nowhere. Aside from that—it’s a good tool to have if you’re coming to this app or thinking about coming to this app.

So far everything works great it even has my tuition balance no app jumping 😗

I’m not sure what was going on with SCAD 2+ years ago but it works perfectly fine now lol

Lots of things can be done in SCAD which is good so you don’t need a lot of other apps to get around the school

The new update addresses a lot of previous problems with SCAD and includes new features for an even more convenience.
