I’ve moved to a different address and have spoken to customer service to transfer service. The billing department and customer service shut off service at my new residence because auto pay didn’t transfer but did continue to bill at my old residence despite there being no utilization of the service. Several emergency payments were made online and by telephone to re-establish service. The current app finally reflects that service at the old residence is turned off but will not link to my new residence. The accounting department has not applied payments to my new address / account! I’m investigating other high speed internet providers. Warning to anyone considering Cspire for internet and home phone services

I was with c spire for almost 15 years. My last 2 years with them was nothing but trouble. Service was spotty at best even with new phones. Finally made the switch to another carrier. Cancelled my c spire account and made sure it was up to date (I had been out from under a contract for several months). OVER A YEAR LATER I get a bill from collections for $300 (remember I’m not under contract and owed nothing for phones and my monthly bill was only $140ish- it always changed every month). They never tried to contact me, never sent anything in the mail…. Just sent this bill straight to collections. AVOID THIS CARRIER AT ALL COSTS.

There are places I have been and I was the only one without service. The other two with two different carriers had service. When traveling I cannot even rely on my maps which when I had a different Carrier I had no trouble. This is scary.
Im 2009 they told me it was going to be better in about two yrs. so much for that. I don’t even have service at my house unless I stay in my house for the WiFi. I can’t wait until next year as soon as my contract is up I am going back to the carrier had with my last job. They are sooo much better. However they do have nice staff.
