Not only is 1800AccountantOld glitchy, but the service provided by 1800Accountant is not worth the $$. I started a business last year, and like many of you got a call by them to solicit their services. I felt pressured into using them as their “salesman” told me I needed to have an accountant firm... I properly formed my LLC with the state and IRS, but they told me that the IRS doesn’t see it that way and there were potentially many fines I would face if I did not have an accountant file a form with the IRS. Needless to say once they had me on the hook for the $2000 initial payment, my “dedicated accountant” knew nothing about this mystery form that had to be filed. Nor did they tell me there was a $30/Month charge I would start getting charged for ON TOP of the $2000. All and all I stayed with them until today when my taxes were filed as I had already wasted enough money on them. And even my taxes they put together were incorrect. Missed over $2000 in deductions and had I not had and independent account review their filings my tax burden would have been an additional $4000 out of pocket!! Very disappointed and would STRONGLY recommend to stay away. Support your community and local accountants who will have your best interest and companies best interest at heart. Can’t stress enough how disappointed I am with this company.

I am not even sure if the developers are paying attention to the critical feedbacks because most issues are still unsolved. As a new business owner I thought I was doing the right thing spending thousands for tax “advice” and help. Not only is there no real advice given, it’s incorrect advice to line their pockets. Not only was I wrongly and told to file as an S-Corp, causing me headache and unnecessary extra paperwor... I’ve been bounced around from person to person and one of the tax “advisors” said out loud, while talking to herself, “I really need to learn this”. You think?! I also just learned that although it was told my payment was for filing of all the taxes and forms, it really only covers income tax. I’m left to figure out state tax, sales tax, and county rendition filings on my own.
Huge disappointment. I definitely will not be using this service again.

I missed their deadline to file my tax return by 1 day apparently and it’s now been 72 days and still doesn’t seem like it’ll be done anytime soon . Let me be clear I did not miss the federal deadline April 15 I missed their deadline which I assume is March 31st but I honestly don’t know they were ... The mileage tracker is very glitchy, and I have lost over 100 miles in tracking so far this year. 1800AccountantOld randomly logs me out in the middle of doing tasks. 1800AccountantOld is incredibly slow, sometimes taking more than 1-2 minutes JUST to log in to 1800AccountantOld . This also happens on the desktop browser. I can’t add many of my credit cards and bank accounts, which is CRUCIAL to a bookkeeping and accounting service, how else are me and my accounts supposed to keep track of finances and purchases? They keep saying, “try again in a few days, try a new browser” though I’ve tried them all for a while now. I’ve had nothing but performance issues and glitches with this platform. If not fixed this week, I will be wholeheartedly seeking a refund after paying nearly $4600 in total services from them!

I have paid over $3k and have yet to have anything completed, for
payroll to tax filing to bookkeeping. Numerous attempts to get answers. My contacts keep changing and I attempt to tell the new person everything. 3 months and counting. I use my phone in dark mode. However whenever I have to send a message to an accountant I have to change it to regular white mode because the my texts are invisible until I switch out of dark mode.

I could go on and on about what is wrong but the essential flaw is that nobody seems to have thought, even for a moment, about the user experience. This 1 800 Accountant app leaves the screen while trying to set an appointment. The message center doesn’t work and the coloring is either invisible on white or black lettering on dark gray background...just horrible. It is anything but convenient to get something done via this application.

Had extremely complicated situation where the portal wouldn’t connect to my bank account otherwise the portal was working fine but after it was all said and done the technical support team wouldn’t help the billing department wouldn’t help. As I was going to cancel my service I got double charged for a renewal fee and they took 4k out of my bank account and then I had to fight with them to get it back . I feel like there are good things and certain settings that come with 1800AccountantOld that make it good, but what features are here that you couldn’t find elsewhere.

Initially when they have you on the phone, the sales people will give you the world. Sounds fantastic right? Wrong! 1800AccountantOld is nice but your bank account will disconnect from it all the time which is a pain to get connected back, then once you get it connected again it looses all your da... When it is working, it’s nice to be able to pull up reports and not have to do the calculations yourself. I definitely don’t recommend.

I’m sure when they reply, they’ll say something like they can’t find me in their records or something blah blah blah.

So clunky. I like the customer service but 1800AccountantOld Requires me to calibrate to it way too much. Needs to be easier to use and take less of my valuable time!

How about an update?
Also fix the invoicing tool, right now it’s worthless.
Also, how about adding the option to link personal bank accounts separate from business accounts, so my accountant can see everything and give sound advice.

Downloaded 8 months ago and use it every day. Super easy and intuitive, especially for a new business owner like me who doesn’t understand debits and credits. I like how clean and simple the dashboard is, it only has the features I need to track expenses, mileage, create/send invoices, and genera... Show more te reports. Best part is it comes with a Bookkeeper, if I ever have questions, they are always available to answer them which saves me tons of time and $$$.

It does take a week or 2 to get in the habit of using and at times I think it is slower than other times but then again I am impatient.

Credentials should be persisted and for extra security you can prompt for fingerprint/face id/pin but please stop asking me to login

Ran into different bugs using the mobile and web app. And was mislead about the pricing. Would not recommend.

These “professionals“ failed to file reports to state and IRS even after promising to do it over and over. Really regret trying to use them. Understanding their English over the phone was next to impossible. Me thinks they are overbooked and can’t keep up.

The apps mileage tracker just randomly stops tracking in the middle of routes.

They really need to make the update apply to the iPad, the fact that I can’t download the update because it’s not compatible it’s frustrating

So far I can see the main landing screen. But when I go to look at my transactions 1800AccountantOld closes unexpectedly. I have tried several times to view them but always get the same result.

1800AccountantOld is easy to use and in some ways better than the desktop version
