It needs, in my opinion, some UI changes. In tablet, the ability to close windows by swiping in horizontal mode, also the search bar should not hide the menu icons when it gains focus and expands

The only browser I've used that gives me search results that are not based on what I searched for yesterday, last week, etc. the splash page news feeds are how the company earns income and are easy enough to ignore, so that feature doesn't bother me. It's the only browser that I trust.

I just updated about 7 apps, and none of them was Cliqz. Yet I went to open Cliqz and it not only crashed but when it came up ALL personalization was gone. This, along with original review is why I uninstalled Cliqz

Really really touchy interface. The slightest sideways motion while clicking a bookmark our history item DELETES the item, frustrating the experience. Desperately needs the ability to reorder bookmarks due to this.
Otherwise it's a pretty decent browser.

I don’t use Google because of their playing politics. Didn’t like Cliqz choice of the ‘news networks?’ they chose/offered to show when I first opened CliqzBrowser . My iPhone started leaning terribly to the left side of my hands and then Siri proceeded to tell me that she wanted me to lend my phone out to people that thought they should get one for free. Siri also said that I should help pay for their phones as well? Nah.....

This a solid, very secure browser made by the same people and identical to the Ghostery browser. It’s biggest drawback is the lack of an import function for bookmarks, and indeed any way to organize them meaningfully.

CliqzBrowser works great. It runs smoothly and is easy to use. However, it gets kind of annoying having to see news articles on the "search tab" or whatever that is. (It's that place where you go to type in a search query and there are those two boxes below the search bar that contain news headlines.) Please allow us to customize those tabs or at least turn them off. Thanks!

Mea culpa. I use it; despite no bookmark export feature. Now that it’s gone I pay the price.
New-rule: verify export functionality FIRST; if none, move on.

Needs improvement, though. I'd like to be able to remove the news section entirely. Or at the very least, edit it to my preferred sources. Also, seems to allow bookmark favorites but I don't see a way to access or edit them. That's a bit confusing to me. It does allow access to my paid RoboForm password manager; that's a HUGE plus! All-in-all, a good beginning. If the suggested improvements are made, I'll update the star rating. Thanks!

It's a great idea, but unlike the desktop version, the iPhone app has problems. It runs very slow, overheats the phone, and frequently crashes. And pop-over ads still happen. Just banish a pop-over anything, please, or give us the option to disable it for specific sites. CliqzBrowser would get only one star if it wasn't such a great concept, proven through the desktop version. I hope they get the problems fixed. If it worked right, it would be five stars.
