We used Voatz for our election and it worked really well, even with several thousand concurrent users. And the results were available instantaneously after the event. Does exactly what it’s supposed and does it really well.

After going through the lengthy and counter-intuitive verification process, I could not understand the directions and ended up calling them over the phone before the Utah County Republican precinct caucus meeting. I was exited to vote and still be with my kids. When voting was supposed to happen the server was over loaded. Eventually Voatz stopped working. I had to reinstall and reverify. Could not vote. The next day I come to find out my precinct gave up on Voatz and just used paper ballots instead. Major let down.

Oregon pioneered universal vote by mail in 1989 and now has a pilot project for military and expat voting using this app. The older reviews seem dated: my experience today was easy, seamless and secure. A great step forward in universal enfranchisement.

I tried to vote in Venezuela’s National Assembly’s Consulta Popular but couldn’t. Verification process is cumbersome. The election option didn’t show up at once so I gave it a day. Then I logged on and found I couldn’t access Voatz . When I finally did, they said the ID wasn’t verified, for which I sent I picture I believe was quite clear. I’ll have to go vote in person. I don’t recommend it.

Quick to download. Quick to verify. I was able to vote in my schools student government election from my dorm and check out the results in only a couple minutes.

this app was super easy to use for our town’s voting process. Best of all the results were instant and we could see them in Voatz . Finally we can vote with phones! Amen.

This is a crucial app in this day and age. Easy to understand and use.

The experience was great and made me more likely to vote in future elections. Platform is a work in progress but I like what I see so far!!

Voatz is unable to work properly, I might think that it needs to be updated and fixed to the latest iOS

Seriously awful

My phone has a virus now.

We were trying to use Voatz in our caucus meeting and it made our night a disaster. Their servers did not scale at all. Ran out of concurrent connections and many other errors. Should have went somewhere else.

Could not get passed the first screen. Voatz constantly could not connect to the server last night during our precinct caucus. Maybe too much server traffic. I might try it again in 2 years at the next caucus...if I forget about this experience.

Just downloaded and no code

Tried to register but even that failed. It sent me a text message with a code I was supposed to enter in. But it failed to send me an email that should have contained some sort of registration code. They have really got to get their system working. Can’t even send a lousy email???

Just wow! What an epic failure of an app. I had to sign up several times, validate, scan and wait wait wait for a “connection issue”.
Me and the 1400 ish Delegates ended up doing paper ballots which made our convention go several hours overtime. The whole circle of chaos drained my battery and my sanity. 👎🏼
