A great way to connect, with a minor issue
Me and my partner are long distance. We see each other once a year and whatnot. Even if you’re not in a long distance relationship, the app helps you to connect on the small things instead of the overall big picture of the relationship. It helps you get to know your partner better and start conversations while giving you possible advice and good, fun challenges to keep the relationship alive. Overall this app builds a stronger, more driven relationship. I feel much more connected to my partner than I ever have. For my complaints.... When watching an ad for an extra question, I don’t receive my extra question until about an hour later, sometimes even never at all. Yes, I do watch the whole ad. Secondly, it takes a long time for the matches to appear on the question screen, to see if you mismatched or matched. It’s fun for the wait, but I’d like it to be a bit faster.

The new ads do not support happy couples
I agree with the reviewer below. I've been a very happy and regular Happy Couple user for at least a year now. I certainly don't mind ads paying for my experience, but the first one I saw after updating the app had the title, "Why men leave the 'perfect' woman. What every woman needs to know". That's divisive and it made me feel icky. The second one was about Trump - certainly nothing romantic about that. You definitely need to screen advertisers better. A couple more of those experiences and I'll likely stop using the app. Its charm won't outweigh its annoyance. Here's what I've been enjoying about HC: 1. My new husband and I play nearly every day. It's a nice way to feel connected and know that we thought about each other outside of the routine of the day. 2. It has made me appreciate how compatible we are in myriad small ways, as our answers frequently match. I love that. 3. It has created interesting new topics for discussion on dates. 4. Initially we were partly motivated by the gamification and wanting to increase levels. That helped drive the habit. Now we're at some high level (26, I think) so that's no longer very interesting. The reward is just the good feeling it gives me when I start the app and see my husband has played, and to see his answers. Which is why if the ads give me a bad feeling, it's no longer something I'll use. Hope that helped!

Love this app!
I love this app so much! It’s amazing and really brings my partner and I closer each day. I use it every day and we couldn’t be happier. It has honestly helped us with communication and getting a better understanding of one another. I thought I knew him better than myself but this app shows me that there are always things to be learning about one another, every day. If I could offer advice on the app however, it’d be nice if you could edit your answer bc I’m not able to select another option if I click on one by mistake. Also it’d be truly helpful if you can see all the answers your partner chose. I think it’d help to offer better insight. Other than that I truly love this app!
