I had used GCloudBackup for years to store precious photos as I moved from phone to phone. It was great, I always had my photos no matter what phone I had and could always view them on the computer. I recently switched phones and had simply not thought about downloading GCloudBackup on my new phone. About 3 months passes, and my sweet dog passed away. I remembered about GCloudBackup and that I had a ton of photos of her from over the years on there, so I re-downloaded G cloud after maybe 3 months of not using it. I found out that I could no longer log into my account because after 60 days of inactivity they delete your account and the photos on it!! I am heartbroken, thousands of photos I will never get back simply because life got the best of me and I forgot about installing GCloudBackup on my new phone. I understand them deleting accounts that are not used, however 60 days is way too soon. I also never received any notice or warning that my account would be deleted. If I just got a simple reminder email or text this could have been avoided.

I trusted my photos were safe and in a cloud I could access forever. GCloudBackup removed my email and dumped me because of inactivity over a few months. I have always planned that the first things I would save from fire if I had to leave my home was life, important documents, and photos. I lost a lot of memories from my old phone because i trusted in GCloudBackup. I can’t even begin to tell you. And I won’t. All I can say is DO NOT TRUST GCloudBackup WITH YOUR pieces of your memories/history. It will fail you.

I use GCloudBackup to transfer my photo from my T-mobile and old devices.

As many people complained about random photos being deleted, i guess it’s not a great app to store your photos.

GCloudBackup. When I open it stay open may be 20 seconds then closed, it been like this since a long time, when you are goin to fix it

Trash! They steal your GB’s. GCloudBackup constantly keeps saving doubles which uses your PAID GB’s. After going back and forth with customer service, I had to delete all the doubles manually. Then they tell me that I shouldn’t have done that because GCloudBackup will not save anything you’ve deleted. So confusing. Never again! Waste of money.

Ever since the last update when i try to view my gallery it closes GCloudBackup out of nowhere

I added a bunch of files on my phone but it won't let me access them on my tablet.

Do not use GCloudBackup!! They will arbitrarily delete your data!!!!!!!! I lost years worth of information because they just up and deleted my account!!!!!!!!!! Do not use!!!!!

Can’t sign into my account because apparently it was deleted without my knowledge! Precious memories gone without a chance to save them elsewhere.

GCloudBackup crashes every time I try to open it on iPhone X.

It's a good app and I use it a lot but it seems like I can't restore my photos from my gcloud to my phone. It says unsupported url. If you can email me or reply that would be great.

When I add a passcode app crashes every time I open it.

My account was deleted with no warning. Everything I saved on there is gone and there’s no way to get them back. Complete GARBAGE!!!!

I cannot login into gcloud with my google account as google updated its permissions to prevent native apps from logging in but GCloudBackup hasn't been updated to keep up. I am stuck with an useless backup.

Had GCloudBackup for 5 years and because I switched phones and forgot to download GCloudBackup again on my new phone. ALL MY MEMORIES WERE DELETED DUE TO 60 DAYS INACTIVITY!!! 5 years of pictures videos and memories of my children because GCloudBackup terminated my account without so much as a warning. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I spent 3.99 every month and watched the prices go higher and higher and then they cancel you if you don’t or forget to pay!! Stick with Google cloud trust me you are better off using their cloud plans!!! Also f U gcloud!!!

I can’t even access my account without GCloudBackup closing on me, with that being said I decided to use my web browser, however I can’t make it past the login page. It continuously asks me for a “coupon code” but I’m just trying to see if I have photos in GCloudBackup TO BEGIN WITH. It won’t even give me a preview of my account before it starts begging to have access to my wallet

I backed up my call logs on Android try to restore on iPhone but it’s not showing up on iPhone

I use to love GCloudBackup when I had an Android. I now have an iPhone 10 and every time I try to open it, it crashes. It's been this way for months now. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it & it'll open that very first time through GCloudBackup Store but then it won't again. I kept hoping that if I was just patient & gave it some time they would fix it in an update but they still haven't. Also, I have an upgraded paid account but unless I access it through the internet, it doesn't recognize that and won't show me my backed up items from when I had my Android or from my iPhone. I really hope GCloudBackup developers start to care about fixing GCloudBackup pretty soon. Otherwise, the way it is being left now, just makes it completely useless . It use to be my favorite app and it's a real shame that they seem to have abandoned it, leaving it un-useable. They must have started a new app they could charge for then abandon again later. What a shame.

I had an android phone, but wanted to transfer all my pictures/videos/contacts the new iPhone that I was getting. Downloaded GCloudBackup on both phones. On the android, I selected all the stuff I wanted to protect. Then on the iPhone, I selected restore, and it restored all the pictures straight to the photos app on the phone without me even having to do anything else. Everything worked great! Took forever to download all the stuff in the first place, but I suppose there’s no helping that.

i'd made a huge back up a year ago on GCloudBackup from an android phone which was connected to one of my google mail account so i connected GCloudBackup with that particular account and made a backup i knew whenever i will login even from an ios device if i have google account connected i will be able to access my back up but i am very disappointed after a year now when i have this Ios device i am trying to connect GCloudBackup to the same account and login but its giving me an error of invalid error which is not unacceptable i have a very humble request to support team to help me out not only response back but please fix this problem. Thank you
