I had originally thought when the app crashed I had lost all of the shows I'd added in. What had actually happened was that it had logged me out. After attempting to start over I was prompted to login and all of the shows were there. All good there. The app can get bogged down when using it for too long. I'm on an iPhone X and after clicking back and forth on shows, switching back and forth from other apps, the clicks become less responsive. I've not had another crash yet, but I've also not used it for three hours straight. Original:App crashed and deleted all of the tracked shows I spent three hours manually adding to it. What a waste of time.
Way better than other similar apps
I’d been using JustWatch for a long time and was completely unhappy with how often the app crashed, and how it was not very user friendly. Did some googling and found ReelGood and I’m so happy I did. It’s clean, snappy, and shows movies that you actually want to see instead of just whatever crap is new. I put in my watchlist(about 400 movies I want to see) and it gives me recommendations based on that which is great. I love the roulette feature, as well as being able to see if something on my watchlist is on a free service I don’t use. I’ve already recommended this app to several friends.
Almost perfect ...
This is a very good service and a very nice app. I had been using Sidereel to track TV shows ... but they discontinued their mobile apps. I interpreted this move as the nail in their coffin .., so I looked for a replacement. I found it in ReelGood. ReelGood tracks TV shows and helps the user know what should be viewed next. To sweeten the pot, ReelGood also tracks movies to be seen. If I had one criticism, it would be that ReelGood sometimes does not list new programs in a timely way. Once the program is in the database, all is perfect ... but perhaps the team should manage coming shows a little more closely.
Movie-Night figured out!
This app is great.. it not only allows me to look up movies across all of my subscriptions but also lets me add them to my watchlist, making it super easy to pick a movie when I’m ready to watch one. Definitely a must have for people like me who generally tend to have a long list of movies to watch but can’t think of any when it’s time to actually watch something. The addition of a direct link to content that takes me directly to the content page in the relevant app is much appreciated as well.
Must have for cord cutters
This app is a godsend. For all those who have cut the cord for streaming services I couldn't recommend this app more. Instead of opening every app to browse through content you can browse through all the services you have access to at once here. I have access to almost every streaming service available, so browsing for a movie can be quite time consuming. Not anymore. I love this app and use it every time I am searching for something to watch. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
No perfect app yet.
There is no perfect app for this yet, IMHO. I was excited to find this app has so many sources! But the UI is a lot harder to use than FanTV or even JustWatch. You can’t control all the sources from the app, only a very few. You have to login to the site from a web browser to see them all and enable/disable them. Never could find a place to enable/disable CBS OTA. For TV series you get one chance to identify having seen a number of previous episodes. If you are tracking binge watching a bunch of series, all the unseen episodes are jumbled together on one screen, not even sorted by show. Maybe if all you use it for is searching, then it’s fine. Keeping track of your shows is a nightmare.
A Useful Guide
I normally ended up using one or two of the services I have access to, so this has helped me spread what I watch around. Definitely glad I find this. There’s even a roulette function which is helpful when you don’t know what to watch. The only issue with that is that you can’t filter passed if you want a show or movie. Being able to say what genre you want or a particular service would be helpful. But that’s the only issue I have.
Helpful if you have multiple subscriptions
I have subscriptions for a couple of services, and this is so helpful in figuring where I can watch a show or movie. You customize which services you subscribe to, and the app tells you where (if anywhere) you can find it. It’s also been great for looking up old shows and movies that you’ve been wondering if it’s available to stream. Definitely makes having all that choice manageable and help you get the most out of those subscriptions.
Best tracker for all shows & movies
I subscribe to many streaming sources so this app is a tremendous help in keeping track of all my shows and movies. Also has great suggestions on which shows I may like. I'm able to use it across different devices (iPhone/iPad) as well as on the web (super handy for first-time user to add many shows/movies) which is all synced. Support is 5 stars and are very welcoming in receiving suggestions. It has changed so much, for the better, over last several versions.
Please add these features!
Could you please add ways to sort TV shows I’m tracking? Like by number of episodes/total runtime left. I’m currently trying to clear out my backlog of TV shows I started but never finished. I would also love a way to mark or archive shows when you watch part of a series and then stop. There are multiple shows whose first couple of seasons are great, but slowly grow stale. I’d like a way to still mark them as seen, but not actively track.
I've been using this app for some time and it keeps getting better. If you subscribe to multiple streaming services, you will benefit from all the information available on Reelgood. One possible improvement might be an active link to IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. The app gives you the rating from both, but it could be nice to be able to actually see the all the info from both sites. Still, this is a great and useful app.
Best for tracking services
I use reelgood anytime I want to watch anything. Their tracking app covers basically every network and streaming service imaginable. They are by far the most comprehensive movie and tv tracker. I wish they would have a section showing what moved into your streaming service and out of your streaming service recently but other than that this app is perfect. Highly recommended.
Best for Movie Lovers
"I've always needed an app to organize what movies I want to watch. I used to make a watch list on my notes app on my phone, but this makes the process so much easier. Thank you and keep up the good work! On a side note, it would be great if we could star the movies we want to see right away, to move them to the top of the list" That was before they did the new update and look. Now it's more difficult to find movies. I lost all of what I had on my list so I have to start over. I can't search for directors or actors, only by the movie name. What happened??!
love it (but would love to see a few more features)
Obsessed with this app, it’s so easy to use and convenient for tracking all of my favorite shows and movies. However, I wish there was a feature for organizing your “watch next” list into different genres for easier searching. Also, it doesn’t track any of my paramount or Disney + content yet. Hopefully this will be fixed soon!!
Such a great app!
Insanely useful to track what to watch across services, as well as alert me when new episodes are available. I previously used text lists to manage things I wanted to watch, but this is sooo much better! Hear about a good new show? Add it so you don’t lose track. Enjoy a show currently on hiatus? Add it so you know when new episodes start back up. One minor UI criticism: sometimes I have a hard time tapping into a series for the episode list vs expanding the specific episode on the “Watch Next” tab. Seems like I have to tap on the series title twice for it to register (could just be a bug)? Anyway, I love this app and would be lost (TV/movie-wise) without it. Keep up the great work!
