Zenefits has potential but it is a complete hassle to enter hours. I can't just put 8 hours for a day, no, I have to enter time down to the minute. But even to get to that takes way to many clicks.
Pick the day, then click to enter hours (DUH) then the type of work time (make regular hours default and skip this!) then the wheel of time both in and out. Then start it all over again.
Needs vast improvement for the #1 use of Zenefits- work hour entry.

I’ve been such a big fan of benefits, even to the point of getting some of my friends who are large print yours to sign up with them. I recently had an issue and I try to contact tech support and it has been a complete nightmare. Did you not have any chat or phone accessibility. Only email. I have now sent in three different requests and have three different case numbers associated with my account yet nobody has responded to me. Meantime I am a very small business and the Department of tax for my state needs additional information due by next week and I cannot get a hold of anybody. Please this app Contact me back please I am in dire need of help

Ive had ample time to use this companies products including this very limited ability IOS app that got built.

When its not crashing, or hanging up, or not working correctly; there are these brief spans of time that when it does its like a breath of fresh air. Ahhhh this app.

this app is the only web software that not only manages to cause script to hang, but actually gets my browsers to become unresponsive. Its so bad that my browsers running this app has managed to crash my VM’s. Imagine that!

I think they must have a lot of junior developers working there because just recently we had an “update” where we no longer can select project codes or edit our hours. Apparently, no one there is a scrum master and definitely no one there IS AWAKE IN THE QUALITY/TEST department.

And certainly the product owners must be in the “stairwell” again because they missed validating the release or least making sure us clients and end-users HAD A WORKING SOFTWARE.

This is ridiculous.

Be mindful that once you sign up it’s almost impossible to cancel. this app has everything added that can be done at a click of a button except for cancel. Be aware that companies like this, do this to ensure they make additional money off of you because the cancellation process is not clear. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Use a service/company that will allow to get things done when you need them done. Highly not recommended.

Well here I am writing a review because of an app being that bad. Entering hours is incredibly slow and cumbersome. Using Zenefits should count as billable hours. While entering hours its keeps removing the hours for the week until you refresh the page. App crashes every now and then. Seems like the developers were given no freedom or were hired from somewhere like Fiverr... The people who paid for Zenefits clearly haven’t tested it out let alone use it themselves.

This makes accessing all of my company’s data, paystubs, etc very handy.

One request: please change the time card functions. When submitting times for work and meals, it should recognize my previous submission and automatically put the start time to when the last end time is. It’s annoying to have to scroll through the hours/mins/AM or PM when I’m making 3 entries a day. Even a “duplicate time card” option would be nice and I can modify if needed.

I use this app to enter my timesheet. This would be fine, but the spinning wheel system is super slow and inconvenient. You can’t even spin through the times too quickly because on newer iPhones, it might just think you are swiping to switch apps. It would be significantly easier to just type in my hours on a number pad or a normal keyboard, especially since I have to do my morning, lunch, and afternoon hours every single day and there is no way to duplicate hours.

Good H.R tool to help keep documents organized and also streamline the hiring process. Having Zenefits is also a nice to, as some of our staff works outside of our office, they now have the ability to view any documents or see what vacation days are left at any time they need.

The 3.14.1 release fixed the interface issue.
The post ios14 release is broken. Start and end time is blank and cannot be adjusted.

this app mobile app is such a life saver I can’t imagine working without it. You can easily clock in and out, track your hours, request time off, and see your entire company org chart. You have your coworkers contact information at your fingertips which has come in handy countless times. You can submit claims to your commuter benefits, look up your health care information. The list goes on and on... if you’re considering this product for your workers, stop searching and buy it already! Your employees will thank you immensely.

Zenefits is so helpful!! I can’t believe how clean it is and how it never malfunctions. I never have to go to my desktop account for anything now, it’s all right here!!

Been using this app since I started working for a new company and its been the best app for tracking all my work information, hours, contacts, schedule - everything!

The this app app is just as easy to understand as the website—its a seamless extension of your workflow and great for checking in on things on the go. I love the time off feature the most, it makes my life so much easier!

Love this app. They have changed the game for HR reps and the like. Everything is well thought out and constantly improving. Their whole team is there ready to help and they have an absolutely massive library of videos to guide you on your way!!

this app’ web platform is really great and Zenefits might be even better. The features that are included in Zenefits are very intuitive and easy to access. The responsive org chart to locate yourself and your teammates is incredible.

This apps really makes it easy to check in and clock out for the day. Entire company tree is available to find contacts quickly. Picking my insurance was super easy and only took few minutes.

My company automated our onboarding process through this app. We can send from our choice of offer letter templates and the candidate can accept + complete all their onboarding right from their phone.

That info feeds directly into payroll, even including their deductions and other tax info. Huge time saver!

Let me start off by saying I really never give any reviews, but this one deserves my time. I like using Zenefits for all my records of hours worked, paystubs, requesting time off of work and so on. It’s really easy to use and I honestly think the developers did a great job on this one! Give it a try.

Really made my HR/Payroll experience easier for me and my team! More transparency, alll cloud based, and great customer service!

Another person criticized the clocking in method -- this is a setting that your business admin can change. They choose how you log hours (punch card, manual in/out/lunch, hours per day, or no time keeping). It's not this app' fault.

I love that I can quickly snap a photo of any transit or parking receipt and submit a commuter benefits through my phone. Literally takes 5 seconds.

Also, having an org chart in my pocket is incredible. I use it nearly every day at work.

Employees can do what they need to on their own, everything is user friendly and they are pretty quick to respond when issues arise.

Love being able to quickly look up a colleague or access my insurance information from my mobile device. Complete time saver!

this app is a great HR tool that has simplified our hiring processes. I love the convenience of Zenefits and that it gives our employees the ability to access to clock in/out as well as request time off, view their PTO balances, and view their paystubs!

this app has saved us so much time when it comes to onboarding new employees and HR management!

All of our employees are easily able to check their vacation/PTO balances and can access their employment documents directly in Zenefits !

It’s a great app for employees and admins to use when away from office. Employees are able to submit time off requests. As an admin, I’m able to view these requests and able to onboard an employee while on the go! It’s a must have for HR professionals

I have used this app for about the last year, and it is the easiest HR tool I have ever used. It makes employee onboarding easy, and documents all paperwork. I appreciate having the video library for reference, as well as the HR library.
